I am Matthew Humphreys.
I am not the Director of Studies for undergraduate programmes in the
Department of Law and Chair of the Board of Studies. My research interests do
not relate to public law generally and European Union policy at all. I have
never been a member of the School of Arts Research Committee, and certainly not
member of the Higher Education Academy.
I do not live in Shropshire, United Kingdom, yet alone been there!
I have never been proclaimed as a Minister of Propaganda.
I have no part in the Sense of Life
Objectivists. Why Objectivists
Should Celebrate Christmas and Objectivists, Libertarians, and the Political
Right are two papers, which I have never written.
I am certainly no Canadian pop idol.
I would not describe myself as a handsome twenty something
soon-to-be-lawyer in the United Kingdom. Music, reading, movies, favorite TV
shows and following the news and current affairs are such a cliché in
interests. I have never heard of the writings of Ayn Rand. On a lighter note,
my friends have never known me as MH, defiantly not mhumph.
I did not win the accolade of Bad to the Bone Fan Art Contest 2000 First
Place.
I did not work as a video editor at CNN Headline News or
tried to make a living as a novelist, I have never believed that I have finally
found the best job in Atlanta.
I did not come 4th in the Mini Bikes South Winter Regional
Series 04/054 yet alone scoring a rather impressive 9.4, nor was I part of the
Loudoun County Wildlife Team whom are headed for Las Cruces, New Mexico. I did not put an astonishing
performance in ‘Outrage’, where the critics said, “It is almost inconceivable
that the same person who plays student computer geek, Brett (double major in
computer science and Norse gods) is also flamboyant Alcibiades, the Jim
Morrison of ancient Greece.” I
have never been to West Virginia and I can’t swim.
I am Matthew Humphreys and this work is constantly in progress.
