In 1998, while in North Platt, Nebraska, L.A. STEELE tagged with former WWF & WCW Wrestling Sensation, Greg "THE HAMMER" Valentine, they were Accompanied to the Ring by their Manager Miss Lacy in a Main Event Tag Team Match against "Gentleman" Chris Adams & Jake "THE SNAKE" Roberts, segments of this Main Event Match were Filmed on location by Los Angeles Film Producer, Barry Blaustein. Thus became the Release of the Wrestling Documentary "BEYOND THE MAT" initially Released in Los Angeles, CA during the Fall of 1999. "BEYOND THE MAT" hit Texas Theaters in March of 2000.

During the filming of "BEYOND THE MAT", Barry Blaustein selected one still photo as the Famed Former WWF Star, Jake "THE SNAKE" Roberts DDT'D L.A. STEELE, only to fall into his corner & pull his INFAMOUS 10 ft. Python out of his bag & drop that 10 ft. Python upon the breathless chest of L.A. STEELE. This Picture has attained a 2 Page Spread in WOW Magazine, TIME Weekly, PEOPLE Weekly, ENTERTAINMENT Weekly & Pro Wrestling Illustrated. Many a Promoter who has seen this Picture, have asked who is this big longhaired blond Wrestler? He is none other than, L.A. STEELE !!!!!

THE MOVIE BEYOND THE MAT

"The Man LA Steele" & Manager Miss Lacy wrestled Jake Roberts during that Main Event, in North Platt, Nebraska. The unedited version, which included Miss Lacy's catfights & Interview's, took place in Missoula, Montana. The DVD Director's Cut Edition was filmed in Kerney, North Dakota. It was a 16 day road trip from hell. The Promotion was known as BBOW. LA STEELE'S Tag Team Partner was Greg THE HAMMER Valentine; Miss Lacy Managed both Wrestler's Ringside. Jake THE SNAKE Roberts & the now deceased Englishman, Gentleman Chris Adams were Tag Team partners. The Movie was filmed in 1998.

Update for the Wrestling fans of "The Man LA Steele"

"The Man LA Steele" has been out of the Wrestling scene now for about 2 years. LA Steele has been working with Mickey Grant Film Productions. Mickey Grant has been shooting a lot of footage of LA Steele & Miss Lacy. For the upcoming movie "Gentlemen's Choice". The movie is about the life and times of the late "Gentlemen Chris Adams". Mickey Grant invited LA Steele & Miss Lacy to work with him on the upcoming film.Reason was due to the long time relationship. LA Steele & Miss Lacy had with "Gentleman Chris Adams"
