And along the way it's avoiding you. Always around the corner, a step ahead because you don't find it, it finds you. And it happens along the way only after you've given up. The how or why of it nobody knows. its just one of those things that is. Be desireless.
It is different for one and all. Tangible or not, person or thought. Epiphany of the painfully obvious or understanding of the incomprehensible. What ever it turns out to be: good, bad, mediocre, shattering, consoling, joyous, you have earned it. Be excellent.
And when you've got it you can be anything but dissapointed because the person next to you ,across from you, the people around you could still be looking. You have found what every one is looking for. That little peice of yourself that has been missing for as long as you can rememeber. The reason you left where you were and are where you are. As now becomes then, and when becomes now you realize that you are no longer a puzzle missing a peice but rather a portrait of a whole self and that the journey is done, the search over. Be gone.
And all this happens along the way.
And when you return where you were from where you are you wonder. You ask was it worth it? Was it worth the trip? The highs and the lows? And the answer is yes. And the why? The why is the memories. The ones you share and the ones that only you have. The why is the people, places, things you've seen that the people around you haven't. And at the end of the way, when all is said, when all is done, the answer can only be yes.
And i still haven't found what i'm looking for....
