About The Masquerade Lab The Masquerade Lab has been in operation since January of 2000, run by Jen Running Deer. Jen has been sewing for over 15 years and involved in costuming since junior high, when she won first prize for her Miss Piggy costume. Friends started asking if she would make their Halloween costumes and The Masquerade Lab was begun! Come check us out--maybe you'll be inspired. Or, if you have an idea for an outfit that you just can't find anywhere else--give the 'Lab a call! The Masquerade Lab specializes in fantasy, sci-fi, anime and comic book characters, and costuming for role-playing games -- the more strange, the better!
