Faces & Places Spotlight – Mark-Paul Gosselaar
The star of The Princess and The Marine`s only tie to his Saved by the Bell days is his wife, Lisa.

Age
26

Hometown
Panorama City, California; he is the youngest of four children born to Paula Gosselaar, a former hostess for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, and Hans Gosselaar, then a plant supervisor for Anheuser-Busch.

Current Residence
Valencia, California, where he lives with wife Lisa Ann Russell, a former model turned aspiring producer, whom he met in 1993 on the set of NBC`s Saved by the Bell, on which he starred for six years. “Some people spend their whole lives looking for that one person. I was lucky to meet [Lisa] at a young age, and I cherish that,” he says.

Growing Pains
Although his life changed at 13, when he was cast as smooth talking Zack Morris on Bell, Gosselaar admits to losing touch with co-stars like Tiffani Thiessen when the series ended in 1994. “It was just like being in high school.” he says. “We were with each other, and then you move on.”

Next up
On February 18, he stars in the NBC movie The Princess and The Marine, based on the story of U.S Marine Lance Corporal Jason Johnson and Bahraini princess Meriam Al-Khalifa.

Dog Days
While Gosselaar sees kids in his future, right now he`s happy playing father to Tala, and wolf hybrid and Fleur, a miniature pinscher. “For Christmas, Lisa gave me a gift certificate from them. It said, ‘For Daddy., The check out girl at Sport Chalet goes ‘Daddy?’ I told her, ‘Not yet. It`s just my dogs.’ "
