| MIDI music files are the smallest file type for musical sound, and so are the choice of web page designers. MIDI files use few resources, allowing your system to function better as you do other computer tasks, like surfing. MIDI tunes are limited in sound, and don't have vocals, but many are very good. Some are included here. MIDI tunes done by amateurs are free, and they form the bulk of the downloadable music material on the Web. MIDI tunes may deviate from the original score somewhat, but this is due to copyright issues, and artistic license. |
