G3 Movies, Inc.

G3 is an independantly-run video production company.  Run exclusively by Justin Gillespie, G3 works on independant projects.

G3 was formed in August, 2004, by Justin Gillespie.  Exclusively working on projects and videos from CulverBrother's Video, most successfully the anti-hit "The Matrice."

G3 uses only the best in video and photography editing.  G3 owner, Justin Gillespie, made the decision to work exclusively on PC's, forgoing the traditional methods of video and photo editing on Macs.  As a result, Gillespie has managed to make high-quality, unique works of art.

Currently, G3 uses a Sony 3CCD DVCAM for all video methods.  For computer editing, G3 uses a Gillespie-built PC.  This PC employs dual 3.2G P4HT processors, an Asus P5WD2 motherboard, a 512MG 9600 AGP NVIDEA graphics card (with an equal 512MG 96000 AGP ATI card for certain projects) and runs Windows Media Version.  For the actual video editing, a (self-heavily modified) version of AC3D is used.  Self-moded means that Gillespie has personally reworked much of the source code, giving the program more power and features than the original program.

G3 worked with CulverBrother's Video and DreamJerks Video for two years.  After this period, G3 set out on it's own independant projects.

The most successful of these projects were the Union College cult-hit "Linda Becker-Wysong: Truths Behind The Manipulations."  Created as one of many ways the students of Union College voiced concern over the way Mrs. Wysong-Becker was unethically performing her job.  The movie helped promt an official investigation, and went to win the "Squirrly Award."

After doing independant work, G3 teamed up with DreamJerks and CulverBrothers.  Together, these three companies focused solely on 3D movies.

G3 has also taken on "sidetracking" projects.  Teaming up with Weed Radio Inc., G3 planned, created, and implimented an ad campaign for the starting of Clocktower Radio, KLOK 101.8 in Lincoln, Nebraska.  KLOK 101.8 is a radio owned and operated by Union College.  Funding, however, came from many different sources; many of which pledged monetary donations after seeing the ad campaign put together by G3.

Right now, G3 and CulverBrothers are creating shorts (using The Sims 2), to be called "The Chronicles of Onion College."
