With a great cast and great newcomer/star Patrick Fugit the film is enjoyable and relatable to 1970?s teen living and dreams. It takes place in the 70?s when drugs, sex, and rock and roll where every teens daily routine. Well every teen but William Miller (Fugit) whose mother Elaine (McDormand) is so overprotective she won?t allow her son to do any-thing. But William soon becomes involved with Rolling Stone magazine, which sends him on the trip of his life. William is writing a story for Rolling Stone on a new band called ?Stillwater.? William immediately gets along great with the band but none of them want to give this interview he is sup-posed to be getting. So as the deadline gets nearer and William and the band put it off more and more. The question soon becomes will he make the dead-line or get caught up with his new found friends and their new found fame. With great visuals and relatable scenarios, this film is enjoyable whether you lived in the 70?s or not you will like it. With a great soundtrack from Elton John to Led Zepplin the film is an instant classic. |
