The Commentary
Alanis Morissette debuted at #1 7 weeks ago. She spent 2 weeks at number 1, then fell a bit. This week, she returns to the top spot with "Hands Clean". I over-listened to the song at first, which made me get sick of it. That's why it dropped. I made a resolution to not listen to it for a few weeks and I didn't. Whenever the video would play on TV, I changed the channel. Whenever it was on the radio, I shut it off. So now, I like the song much more than I did at the time. Therefore Alanis got her bullet back and returned to the top spot. Linkin Park aren't happy about it, but they'll live! In his 11th week on the chart, Usher rises again to #2. Both versions of "U Got It Bad" are amazing. Usher definately has a chance of reaching number 1 in the next few weeks. He just needs to pray that Alanis loses her bullet. Alicia Key's has her first top 5 song with "A Woman's Worth". I doubt she'll continue climbing though.
