Bio:  Well-known for his flame-adorned ringwear and signature tatoos, Bam Bam Bigelow is a pro wrestling icon.  Bigelow's rise to greatness began in Japan - where he dominated the ranks of the New Japan Pro Wrestling organization - thus earning the nickname "The Beast from the East."  In 1985, Bam Bam Bigelow made his American debut - in the rings of the WWF.  An immediate fan favorite, Bigelow joined forces with Hulk Hogan - teaming with him at Survivor Series 1987.  Eager to carve his own niche, however, Bigelow soon broke away from Hogan - taking his career in an entirely new direction.

With manager Luna Vachon by his side, Bigelow began blazing a path of destruction through the WWF - his casualties including prominent superstars such as Tatanka and Doink the Clown.

In 1993, Bigelow entered the first WWF King of the Ring tournament.  In preliminary matches, he defeated Typhoon and Hacksaw Jim Duggan - earning a spot in the finals.  With the title of FIRST WWF King of the Ring on the line, Bigelow faced off against none other than Bret "Hitman" Hart.  After a classic 20 minute match, Bret scored the win with a Victory Roll.

In 1994, opportunity once again knocked on the door of Bam Bam Bigelow.  "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase recruited Bigelow for his new entourage - The Million Dollar Corporation.  Joining forces with former enemy Tatanka, Bigelow began a quest for the WWF Tag Team titles.  When the titles were declared vacant, Bigelow and Tatanka immediately declared their interest in a tag team title tournament.

In January of 1995, their wish was granted - and the tournament began.  Bigelow and Tatanka defeated Men on a Mission and the Headshrinkers to advance to the final match of the tournament.  At the Royal Rumble 1995, Bigelow and Tatanka met the 1-2-3 Kid [aka XPac] and Bob "Hardcore" Holly for the tag team championship.  Bigelow and Tatanka dominated the match until a critical miscommunication between the two sent Bigelow crashing HEAD FIRST into the mat.  Unconscious, Bigelow was easily pinned by the 1-2-3 Kid.  Enraged by the loss, Bigelow ransacked the area surrounding the ring.  Football legend Lawrence Taylor was in attendance that night - seated prominently in a VIP front row section.  When Bigelow caught view of Lawrence Taylor laughing over his loss, things began to go downhill.  Bigelow berated Lawrence and then, shockingly, attacked him.  Lawrence's bodyguard struggled to pull the two men apart.
In the weeks that followed, Bigelow issued a formal challenge to Lawrence Taylor.  A challenge for a one-on-one match.  Lawrence accepted and the match was signed.  As the main event of WrestleMania 11, Bigelow met Lawrence Taylor.  The hatred between the two was clearly "legit," resulting in one of the most violent matches in WrestleMania history.  After a grueling back-and-forth battle, Lawrence scored the pin over Bigelow.

Deciding it was time to regroup, Bigelow soon jump-shipped to ECW.  The new environment provided Bigelow with an opportunity to unleash his "hardcore" side.  In October of 1997, Bigelow struck gold.  With the help of his dreaded finishers - the
Flying Top Rope Headbutt and the
Greetings from Ashbury Park Piledriver - Bigelow pinned Shane Douglas to win the ECW World Heavyweight title.  After losing the title the Shane Douglas, Bigelow set his sights on ECW Television Champion Taz.  At ECW Living Dangerously 1998, Bigelow scored the win over Tazz to earn his second ECW title.  With his ECW legacy firmly established, Bigelow joined forces with Shane Douglas and Chris Candido to form a new entourage - The Triple Threat.
