Videogames get an enema (Views and news)

Topic 1: Xenosaga trouble
February 25th marks a very important time in videogames. No, you handicapped child! It's not the first time Bush will spell a word right, its Xenosaga time! Many people are ranting and raving about this sequel that is not made by SQUENIX (Hi Scott!), and rightfully so. But the troubling thing I've heard was that most of the game is a cinematic movie. The opening CGI cinema even has a pause button, because it is 40 minutes long! This is deeply troubling to me, not unlike bears humping televisions. Yes, I like CGI cinemas just like the next hamster, but come on Monolith Soft. I will say it hear and I will say it clear…if this game has way too much CGI crap in it, and not enough game play, then I will gather a mob…gang…thing, and go over to Monolith's HQ and beat them will pictures and bats with Fei Fong Wong's picture on it! (Hmm; did they get the reference?)

Topic 2: The lack of Gamecube RPG's
I love my Gamecube. More then socks, haggis, and even German prostitutes with one leg and 9 fingers. It's a part of me. But there has been this inexcusable void left in my heart that I can't describe. Well, actually it's like a really big fat guy farting on your head. Yeah, it's that bad. Nintendo has this un-liking of RPG's for some ungodly reason. Ever since they bashed Final Fantasy 7 for being "Too boring" I've loathed Nintendo for hating my favorite genre of game. Because of their hatred, we get crap like Evolution Worlds (Which wasn't bad on the Dreamcast), Lost kingdoms, and a couple of other less notable ones. But hark! What have we here! Skies of Arcadia is on the Gamecube? Yay! SOA is one of my favorite RPG's of the past 5 years. Unfortunately, it was on the Dreamcast first. Which begs me to question Nintendo's "Hidden" policy of RPG's now-a-days (Hidden meaning they wont release new RPG's themselves, only hark on the past ones from other systems). But soon, the time will come where Nintendo will finally give in to RPG's, just like they will stop making kid's games; right...come on, right?
