My mailbox was full of e-mails, both positive and negative, wanting to know why I haven't made any comments about the latest spin on the issues pertaining to Iraq.  Some were personal attacks toward my stance and President Bush's, with name-calling and angry words.   Other's wanted to know why I haven't said my peace in defense of President Bush.

The way I see it, there's really nothing to say or defend.  The whole premise that President Bush lied in the State of the Union Address is ludicrous.  He only stated the truth.  The British still stand by the claim that Saddam was seeking uranium from Africa and Niger may not be out of the question.  I knew that before all the flack began and anyone who really wants to keep up with what is going on can find out all this information anytime they want.  President Bush did not lie, he said that the British had knowledge of it all, not our intelligence agencies.

I'm tired of all those
"weasels" out there trying to find anyway they can to make President Bush look bad.  That's what all this is about and don't be fooled by any of this disinformation.   Don't you find it strange that all this uproar began just as the President was leaving the country for a week?  It was an opportunistic move and a low blow.  Have you seen the e-mails that came out of the DNC to all its members?  Have you seen the Internet ads?
They are nothing but hateful idiom.

The DNC wants to brainwash America into thinking that President Bush manipulated the intelligence in order to get this country behind him.  That is not what happened.  The words in question were only a very small portion of the State of the Union Address and a minuscule portion of the total intelligence that led us to war.

As far as I am concerned, this whole issue is over.  CIA Director George Tenet has explained that he did not look over the address, his staff did.  I firmly believe that will never happen again.  Yes, Presidential speeches should contain rock solid information.  No one disputes that.  It's time to put this to rest.

I'd bet the farm that if other Presidential addresses were scrutinized this thoroughly, you'd find holes in them also.
Personally, I don't want to go there.

I do not see this issue as anything new.  It's just another phase in the Democrats disinformation campaign and another sign of their farcical attempts at defaming President Bush so they can win in 2004.

The same things I said in the last two articles apply to this issue.  Therefore, I have nothing else to say.
Go back and re-read those articles.

No one cares more about his or her integrity than President Bush.  He knows the value of it.  That's why the Democrats can't win when they continue to attack him on this level.

We are born with a clean slate.  We build our own integrity.  It is part of our God given gift of free will.  We can take it seriously, or we can build it and squander it.  The Democratic Party has done nothing but squander their integrity for a decade.  This latest episode is a peak.
I wonder if there is any level they will not stoop to.   November of 2004 is a long way off.  What else will the Democrats do?  What new ways will they find to embarrass themselves
and this nation?  I'm filing it all away in my mind and I certainly hope you are to.
