What does Iris do before going to sleep???

Let me tell you about Iris. Iris is a little girl I know and to who I tell my stories. But this time I am going to tell you a story. Every night Iris goes to bed at 7 PM. Iris never really wants to go to bed because she wants to watch tv or play games with her parents. But her parents won't let her. Only in weekends she may stay up until 8 PM.
Let's see what Iris does before going to sleep. If you look up to the right corner you will see what Iris looks like. On this picture Iris is wearing just an ordinary sweater, but before she goes to bed she puts on a pair of pyjamas. Iris favourite pyjama is light bluish and has the picture of a bear on it. Even I like her pyjamas, as mine are boring. What do your pyjamas look like?
After Iris has put on her night wear her mummy brushes her hair. As you can see Iris's hair is very long, and if her mummy doesn't tie it together it will be full of knots tomorrow. Hair full of knots is very painful, especially if it is very long. That is why it is very important to brush it regularly. Even if you don't care about knots it is a good idea to brush hair. It looks very indicant to never brush it and people will think that you are a very sloppy little girl or boy. Or at least that is what my mummy always says. But of course you may always look sloppy a couple of days a week, in my opinion that is....
After mummy has finished
with Iris's hair the little girl goes to the bathroom. First she
washes her hands and her face with soap and water. After that she
brushes her teeth with her own red toothbrush and a tube of
toothpaste. Iris has her own tube of toothpaste, which especially
for kids. And it tastes very funny, just like bubble gum. Iris
likes it very much. And sometimes, when I sleep over, I can also
use it.
According to Iris's
mom it is very good for little teeth. She says she doesn't uses
it, but I caught her once cleaning her teeth with it. Of course I
couldn't comment on it , as that would be very impolite. Here is

After all this washing up in the bathroom. Iris goes to her bedroom where her mommy tucks her in. Iris often cannot sleep instantly so her mummy often reads her a story or mummy lets Iris read her a story. The books are often full of pictures and photos. Iris loves those kind of books. She thinks they are very pretty. They often tell her about kings and queens, beautiful princesses and handsome prince's. Sometimes she dreams about becoming a princess. She often wonders if there are studies for it, just like her big sister who is studying to become a doctor. Iris really doesn't know. She should ask her big sister some day. After a story mommy always tucks Iris in. She kisses her goodnight and switches of the light. But she leaves on a smaller lamp on the table, as Iris is very much afraid of the dark. Though there is of course no need to be afraid of the dark. My mommy told me nothing can happen in the dark, and she thinks I should be a brave little girl. That is why I sleep with the lights off. After mommy leaves Iris in her little bed she almost always falls asleep very soon.
Well, I guess it is time to wave goodbye now, as Iris has to sleep..... Goodnight :)
