MEET BARRY SEAL  Part 2
"HISTORY AS WE DON’T KNOW IT "

The knowledge inside Barry Seal’s head could and would, no doubt change the history of this country. We were taught what they wanted us to learn about these things, not what really happened.

The things that Seal knew were all true. He was there, he saw, he heard, he knew. Problem was Seal had always had the problem of loose lips. He liked to brag and throw names around. Eventually he knew so much he began to be a liability when he was arrested in Louisiana for smuggling Quaaludes into the country. The judge refused an offer for Seal to become an informant and sent him to jail.

Seal’s life was on a downhill spiral all at once. The last time he’d informed for the CIA in Nicarauga the plan blew up and the Columbian cartel led by Pablo Escobar put forth a half-million dollar bounty on Barry Seal. The biggest irony is that the Quaaludes Seal was arrested for were of such poor quality, he literally could not give them away. He dumped the entire shipment into a river. He was desparate to get out of jail and told his brother-in-law he was going to start talking about all he knew about the government.

The judge in Louisiana sentenced Seal not to jail, but to a Salvation Army halfway house in Baton Rouge. He was to report to this location at 6:00pm each night. Seal requested and was refused to carry a handgun for self-defense purposed. He was also refused when inquiring about hiring armed body guards at his own expense.

Seal knew this meant certain death and told his attorney that the judge had just given his a “death sentence.”
"SOME OF THE OTHER PLAYERS"

Here are some of the other “players” names and their connection to Mena, Arkansas:
THE RESEARCHERS:
Dan Hopsicker - had a promising career in broadcast journalism when he began working on a show for NBC. He stumbled upon the Seal-Mena story and tried unsuccessfully to air his explosive findings. NBC refused to air them so he quit and produced 3 documentaries and wrote his landmark book, “Barry and the Boys.” (see link on sidebar.)

Mara Leveritt - reporter for the Arkansas Gazette, she began investigating the deaths of two teenagers near Mena. Her book is called, “The Boys on the Tracks.” (see link)

Gary Webb - a reporter at the San Jose Mercury News, he published a series of stories detailing evidence of the CIA in the crack-cocaine trade. Although trashed by the mainstream press, his research still holds up today. His book, “Dark Alliance” is a must for anyone interested in Barry Seal’s story.
THE SPOOKS
David Ferrie - A key witness in prosecutor Jim Garrison’s case against the CIA for the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The federal government forced Garrison to release Ferrie from protective custody and within 2 days Ferrie was mysteriously found dead.

“Chip” Tatum - in 1996 Tatum “came in from the cold” and tried to release information connecting Oliver North and George Herbert Walker Bush to drug-running and assassinations. Tatum was released from prison and promptly disappeared as did the website he maintained from his cell.
"THE BITTER END "

At 6:00pm on February 19, 1986, Barry Seal’s white Cadillac pulled into the parking lot of the halfway house. At this point, there are two versions of events in the next couple of minutes.

The first (and official) version is that three Columbians with automatic weapons advanced on Seal and began firing into the car. Seal allegedly seen them coming and covered his ears with his hands.

The second (unofficial) version is that a single shooter emerged from behind a dumpster. Seal saw him coming and covered his ears as two short bursts of machine-gun fire quickly silenced Barry Seal permanently. Gone is any possibility of knowing the true history of America during the Seal Era. The weapon used was a Mac-10 machine gun, fully automatic, with a silencer attached. ATF Agent Jim Adamcek said this about the murder weapon: “It’ll empty a 20-round magazine before the first casing hits the ground.
William “Bear” Bottoms - former Navy pilot, former CIA Operative and former brother-in-law of Barry Seal. Bottoms engaged in an internet debate with Chip Tatum regarding Mena, Arkansas. Tatum accuses Bottoms of being a DEA snitch and accuses him of lying about Seal’s CIA connections in order to protect the agency. Bottoms maintains a website that refers to Seal as merely a smuggler and not a government agent.
THE WHITE KNIGHTS
Mike Rupert - Ex-LAPD narcotics officer and publisher of monthly newsletter “From the Wilderness” he has traced ownership of Barry Seal’s favorite airplane from Seal at his time of death through several owners connected to Mena to it’s current owner, George W. Bush in Texas. (See Cop v CIA link on sidebar.)

Celerino “Cele” Castillo - former DEA field agent in El Salvador. He’s witnessed CIA planes being filled with cocaine. Most of his investigations though, were stopped because they all led to “protected government assets.” He is the author of “Powderburns: Cocaine, Contras and the Drug War.” Before resigning from the DEA he personall confronted George H.W. Bush about CIA drug running.
NOTE:  OPERATION 40
Operation 40 is the name of a highly secretive CIA Kidnapping & Assassination Squad.  The following three men were Operation 40 Agents:
Frank Sturgis (remember his from Watergate?);
Felix Rodriques and William Seymour.

Just before Kennedy was shot, these three men were photographed with a smiling Barry Seal in Mexico City. Hours after the assassination an air traffic controller at Redbird Airport, just south of Dallas saw three men in business suits board a commanche-type aircraft that Barry Seal owned. It is believed either Seal himself, or David Ferrie flying the plane, took the true Kennedy assassins into Canada.
