What is Societies' Convener?
Societies' Convener is a key role for the representation of Societies at the EUSA level. The role covers the following responsibilities:

- Provide Societies' formal
  representation through the
  Societies' Executive, a
  EUSA committee

- Contact and co-ordinate
  with Societies on wide
  range of matters

- Help Societies with support
  and services that EUSA can
  provide

- Responsible to the VPSA

- Sits on Finance Committee

- Sits on Disbursement
  Committee

- Member of SRC

- Is accountable to
  Societies through Societies
  Council

- Convenes Societies'
  Executive

As you can see it is an extremely involved, engaged and active role. It has been a pleasure working side-by-side as Treasurer with the current Convener, Rachel Walters and Secretary, Kathryn Campbell this year. Check out 'What we've done this year'.
