1.01: "Pilot"
After graduating from high school, Bart talks to Homer and Marge about moving away from Springfield with Milhouse to start a new life at a college in another town, but they need to find some money to do so. Homer and Marge try all they can to get Bart to stay.
1.02: "Guess Who's Coming to College?"
Bart and Milhouse move into their college dorm room, but soon realise that their new roommate is handicapped, and they have accidentally been sent to stay in a handicapped area of the college, so they must get things right before it is too late.
1.03: "A College Christmas"
Christmas is coming up, and after a fall-out with Marge, Bart refuses to spend the holidays with his family and remains at the college, bored, and must decide whether to give into his love or not and return to Springfield.
1.04: "Timetable Trauma"
The day of receiving a timetable finally arrives, and Bart is shocked to discover that his timetable has accidentally been switched with a nerd's. Meanwhile, Milhouse doesn't seem to get along with his new roommate.
1.05: "Summer Daze"
Bored, and with no lessons to go to, Bart and Milhouse reminse about their summers where they both got jobs at a beach resort in Florida. Meanwhile, their roommate Charlie starts working out in the gym to try and impress a girl.
1.06: "Living with Bart"
In one of Milhouse's classes, he is asked to write a report on one of his roommate's living conditions in his dorm room. Seeing as he hates Charlie, he decides to write about Bart instead, and it is very humiliating for him.
1.07: "The Smart of War"
When Bart finds out that there is a cash prize for anyone who gets a high score on an IQ test, he decides to take part himself, but later realises that he is too stupid, and even resorts to stealing Milhouse's test, and is ridden with guilt.
1.08: "Moaner Lisa"
Bart is shocked to discover that Lisa has travelled all the way from Springfield to give a speech in his class, and he finds himself becoming embarassed by her and tries all he can to get her return to her home town.
1.09: "Boyfriends"
Linda, Emma and Amanda, the three girls in the other bedroom of the dorm room, seem to be coming home every night with their boyfriends and Bart, Milhouse and Charlie are worried about the state of their dorm room, and selves.
1.10: "Party Hard"
When Bart is angry after being called a wimp, he decides to throw a party in his dorm room to show that he really is different to what everybody thinks. The girls are worried about getting busted by the dean for throwing a party.
1.11: "Sax and the City"
Bart finds Lisa's saxaphone from her visit (1.08 "Moaner Lisa") and he knows that she will be upset without it, and he becomes determined to find a cheap way to send it back to Springfield.
1.12: "The Bart Simpson Years"
Bart is called up to the front of the class to read out his report on his life, and in an episode focusing on his report, a special documentary is shown about his life from the day he was born until where he is today.
1.13: "The Homer Simpson Story" (1)
Bart's father, Homer, is diagnosed with cancer but he is too upset to visit him in the hospital in Springfield, but when he finally plucks up the courage to, he realises that he is too late. To be continued in season 2.
