16.01: "After They Were Married" (1)
A special episode in which Milhouse hosts flashbacks of what happened at Bart and Emma's wedding (i.e. the stuff not included in the movie). After her talk with Emma, Jane is falling more and more in love with Bart. She decides that she must get to the wedding ceremony before they are announced husband and wife, but unfortunately, she is too late.
16.02: "After They Were Married" (2)
During the after-party, Jane is getting more and more signs to confess her feelings to Bart. When Rebecca finds out about this, she attempts to stop Jane from ruining all chances of Bart's happiness, but it is harder than she suspected. Rebecca decides to lead Jane through a journey of falling out of love with someone. The plan succeeds.
16.03: "Sweet Home Springfield"
Bart and Emma return back to the apartment block, and they realise that they need their own apartment together. Emma searches for one, whilst Bart begins to think that Springfield is the only place for him and he considers moving back there with Emma. That is, until he realises what he is leaving behind, such as friends, his job, etc.
16.04: "The Truth About Bart"
Rebecca and Jane catch Bart getting into an expensive car with a woman, and they believe that he is having an affair with her. They attempt to tell this to Emma without hurting her feelings, but it turns out that Bart was just househunting with an old friend. Thinking about houses, apartments, etc., everyone decides to reminse about their past together.
16.05: "An Asunder Down Under" (1)
Bart and Emma win a trip to Australia and they decide to take their friends with them. There, they somehow manage to get seperated on the way to the resort and must find a way to meet up before they starve to death. Bart begins to worry about the state of his wife, and he is afraid that she may find love out on the open road of Australia.
16.06: "An Asunder Down Under" (2)
Bart receives a call from Emma, but she turns out to be over 500 miles away. He must find the best way of getting to her and then finding his friends, but he realises just how difficult it is. Stuck on what to do, he realises that he should start a new life in Australia, moving closer to Emma in any possible way he can.
16.07: "Milhouse Gets a Job"
Milhouse is the only one who has arrived at the resort, and he figures that the only way to remain there until he finds his friends is to get a job there. He tries many jobs and fails every single one, and in the end, he is stuck with cleaning up the apartments and attempts to make things more interesting, but ends up making a total fool of himself.
16.08: "The Car Country"
Bart realises that he will need a car to continue his road trip to find Emma, and so he goes out, in search of a car. But he soon realises that there is no hope after travelling around for over 10 days. And when he receives a call from the producers of "It Never Ends" explaining that he has been fired for constantly missing work, he loses all hope.
16.09: "The Stories of Ralph"
Ralph manages to disrupt a bar nearby and he is forced to work there otherwise he will be shot by the owners. He decides to start doing entertainment every night, and his story-telling becomes an instant hit. But when he realises that he is stuck for new material, he believes that he is in big trouble and must get away from the town.
16.10: "Now Leaving Australia"
Bart bumps into Emma and they eventually find the others. Angry that the entire vacation was a complete mess, they all agree to go home. But when Bart realises that he has accidentally left his passport back at where Emma was staying, he must choose between wasting much time and returning or smuggling into one of the suitcases.
16.11: "Bringing Down the Househunt"
After the whole experience in Australia, Bart believes that moving still isn't right for him. What he doesn't know is that Emma thinks the same, and they both feel uncomfortable telling eachother this. They both attempt to find a way to get the househunting to come to an end but they soon realise just how tough it will really be to do so.
16.12: "Cancellation: It Never Ends"
Bart discovers that "It Never Ends" is on the verge of being cancelled by the network, and he can't help feeling sorry for the producers even though they fired him a while back. He decides to do whatever it takes to stop the show from being cancelled, and when he starts this off, he is afraid that everyone thinks he's only doing this to get his job back.
16.13: "Do Not Disturb Australia"
Bart receives a call from a police officer explaining that people have been complaining about him in Australia for creating many disturbances. He is forced to travel back to Australia and do some community service, and he fears that Emma will demand a divorce if he does this. He must choose between the law and the woman he loves.
16.14: "The Right and Wrongs of Long Distance Relationships"
After returning to Australia, Bart has started up a long distance relationship with Emma. He realises just how tough it is, and so he asks for help from his new roommate on "how to have a proper long distance relationship". Meanwhile, the others begin to notice that Emma is going crazy without Bart and they attempt to make her feel better.
16.15: "The Death of Valentine's Day" (Valentine's Day Special)
Valentine's day has arrived, and Eddie is angry after discovering that Milhouse has received many valentines from girls around the apartment block. He attempts to tell him this without getting him angry, but it is harder than he thought. The others, however, are having trouble getting dates and they begin to hate February 14th more and more.
16.16: "Ignoring Ralph"
Ralph feels as if everybody has been ignoring him ever since Bart left for Australia, and he believes that Bart is the perfect roommate for him. He attempts to find the money to travel to Australia to start living with Bart, where as the others try to convince him that he should remain in New York, but they soon realise just how tough it is.
16.17: "When Ralph Arrived in Australia"
Ralph has arrived in Australia and he decides to help Bart do community service so that the job will get done faster. But Bart appears to think that Ralph is just slowing the tasks down, and so he becomes determined to tell him this without hurting his feelings, but this is difficult. Meanwhile, Emma is having trouble coping without Bart.
16.18: "Extended Community Service"
When Bart discovers that his community service has been extended, he attempts to appeal to the local counselor to get things to change. The plan fails, and so he becomes determined to find out why it was extended in the first place. Ralph agrees to help out, and the two find themselves becoming good friends in the process.
16.19: "Marry on Simpson"
Realising that they will be in Australia for a long time, Bart and Ralph decide to settle in at a nearby apartment block. Ralph finds love, but it turns out that the girl likes Bart instead, and he can't seem to reveal that he is married as she is too beautiful. This whole experience makes him question whether he is ready to start the married life.
16.20: "Grade in America"
Bored after a long day of community service, Bart and Ralph decide to reminse about their past together and a story unfolds of the day they moved up a grade. Bart took an instant disliking to his new teacher (and immediatly wants revenge), and Ralph begins to have strange feelings for Lisa once again and attempts to woo her.
16.21: "James' First Word"
Marge discovers that James has said his first words -- "Homer Simpson" -- as she, and the others around her, are always mentioning his unfortunate demise. This just upsets Marge, and what's worse is that James won't stop saying these words. She attempts to find the best way of getting him to say something else, but it is very difficult.
16.22: "Return to New York"
Bart's community service has come to an end, and so he and Ralph are free to return to New York. Bart is shocked to discover that Emma has ran away to start a new life elsewhere as she is fed up with her bumpy past with him, and Ralph realises that he no longer has a place to stay. Upset, the two attempt to find an apartment together.
16.23: "Julie Returns"
Bart and Ralph are still searching for the perfect apartment, but Bart still can't cope with the fact that his marriage with Emma has failed for a second time. Noticing how upset he is, Ralph decides to take him out for a night on the town. Bart bumps into an old flame, Julie, there and they soon hit it off. Ralph attempts to prove that she is wrong for Bart.
16.24: "There's No Place Like Springfield"
Bart and Ralph find the perfect place to live -- a small house in Springfield next to the ocean. They attempt to find the money to move there, but they realise just how tough it is. Stuck, they decide to ask their friends back in New York for help, who are not quite happy about the fact that they are moving away because of two faults.
