8.01: "Race/Off"
After purchasing a new car, Bart decides to skip a class and go on a trip with Milhouse and Ed, and they find themselves getting involved in a dangerous car race with a group of rowdys.
8.02: "Bart Simpson! The Musical"
Bart happens to save a theatre producer's life from a car crash, and the producer is so grateful he decides to set up a performance called "Bart Simpson! The Musical". Ed and Milhouse begin to think that the fame has gone to Bart's head.
8.03: "A Talk to Remember"
When a TV producer realises how good Bob is with words and how entertaining he is, he asks him to start in his very own TV show called "The Bob Show." When Bart is asked to appear as a guest, he realises that Bob is up to no good.
8.04: "Charlie and Amanda in: 'The Married Life'"
Charlie and Amanda are noticed by the TV producer from 8.03 "A Talk to Remember" and are asked to appear on a new TV show called "The Married Life", but Amanda is upset that the producer only wants them because they are always fighting.
8.05: "Get to Know Milhouse Van Houten"
Bart and Ed start a cheap program called "Get to Know Milhouse Van Houten" so that they can repay the dean for damage they have done, but Milhouse soon begins to get fed up with the program and tries to find a way to get out of it.
8.06: "Bill Me Right Up"
Charlie explains to Amanda that he has been forgetting to pay the bill for their apartment and they will be evicted. They are promised by the dean to get a place in their old dorm room, but the others are faced with evicting two people.
8.07: "Bart vs Alison and James"
Bart is shocked to discover that Marge has asked Alison to babysit James when she hardly even knows her, so he becomes determined to find out why his mother chose Alison over him.
8.08: "Working on Christmas Day"
Bart is asked to work on Christmas day at the bakery otherwise he will be fired. Angry, he becomes determined to make his time spent there worthwhile, but ends up trashing the place in the process.
8.09: "The Near-Death Clip Show"
It is revealed that it is only a matter of time before Homer finally passes on, so he asks Bart to come to the hospital and they share moments from their past, and clips from "The Simpsons" and "The Older Bart Simpson" ensue.
8.10: "Dial "H" for Hero"
Bart is angry when his baby brother James gets into Shrubsville College and is immediatly considered a huge role-model to all the students there, so he devises a plan to save James' life in a face act to gain popularity again.
8.11: "Bart's Interview"
The radio station where Bart used to work reveals that it will be interviewing workers from all local businesses in Shrubsville everyday for a show, and Bart tries all he can to be interviewed.
8.12: "Speed Dating"
Lonely, Bart decides to try out speed dating for a second time, and he is shocked to discover that his five minute date is Emma. He soon realises that they have a lot in common and starts dating her.
8.13: "Deep Sleep Homer" (1)
Bart gets into a fight with Homer, who is lying on the deathbed, and storms out. He later plucks up the courage to go to the hospital and apologise, but he soon realises that he is too late, as Homer has gone into a deep sleep. To be continued.
8.14: "Deep Sleep Homer (2)
It is revealed that Homer could be in a deep sleep for a very long time, and it is recommended that the Simpsons see somebody about his will because there's only a 10% chance that he will ever wake up. Bart still feels guilty about snapping at his father.
8.15: "Focusing on Something Else"
Emma realises that her relationship with Bart may be threatened because of Homer, who is in a deep sleep, so she tries to find a way to get his mind off it before their relationship ends once and for all.
8.16: "Shrub Days"
The annual "Shrub Days" arrives in Shrubsville and Bart is upset that he won't be able to spend it with his father. Meanwhile, Ed and Milhouse become determined to get revenge on the owner of a crummy ride.
8.17: "Bart Simpson's on the Case"
Bart sets up his own detective service at Shrubsville College to get his mind off his father, and he ends up getting into a murder case, but is shocked to discover that his best friends Milhouse and Ed could be suspects.
8.18: "The Bar vs. the Bakery"
Bart realises that a war of customers between the bakery and Joe's bar is beginning, and when he is offered a better paying job at the bar, he doesn't know what to do. Meanwhile, Linda gets fired from the bakery and tries to find out why.
8.19: "Creature Feature"
Marge asks Bart to babysit James again and he is shocked to discover that his brother has smuggled a small turtle with him out of a store in Springfield. Bart becomes determined to keep it a secret but finds it hard whilst around Emma.
8.20: "The Sweetest Ring"
Alison finds a ring in Bart's pocket and Linda tries to convince her not to tell Emma all about this, but she realises that it will cost her. Meanwhile, Bart thinks someone has stolen the ring and calls the police.
8.21: "Decent Proposal"
Bart figures that it is about time he proposed to Emma but realises that everywhere he goes with her, he manages to get himself into an akward situation, so he becomes determined to find a decent place to propose.
8.22: "Emma's Home-Cooking"
Marge visits, and Emma's home-cooking manages to put her in a hospital and she thinks that it is all her fault, whilst meanwhile, Bart is worried that Marge will forbid him from marrying Emma because of the accident.
8.23: "The Marriage What-If's"
Bart wakes up one day only to realise that he is having second thoughts about the wedding, and three segments about the "what-if's" of his marriage ensue, in a special episode of "The Older Bart Simpson."
8.24: "Dress Than Zero"
Emma asks Alison and Linda to help her pick out a wedding dress whilst meanwhile Amanda is upset that her so-called best friend didn't ask her to help out, and becomes determined to find out why everybody is avoiding her recently.
