Season 9

9.01: "That Think You Do"

Bart begins to think that Emma is avoiding him so he tries to find out why, but soon realises that it is something he does so he becomes determined to find out what it is before their future together goes down the drain.

9.02: "Mother, Can You Spare a Crime?"

Bart realises that his mother, Marge, has begun a life of crime in Springfield, and he figures that it is because she is lonely, so he becomes determined to find her another man before he is too late.

9.03: "Freeze Sir"

Emma comes accross the frozen in time Mr. Burns and she realises what a terrible life he must lead, not being able to enjoy his last few days and all, so she tries to find a way to secretly unfreeze him, unaware of what a horrible guy he really is.

9.04: "Saving Private Simpson"

Bart joins the "Army Experience" group at the college after discovering he needs to get at least one more good grade, and he finds it a lot tougher than he suspected an ends up being commander of an entire army group.

9.05: "Maggie Gets Kicked Out"

Maggie returns to the Simpsons household only to reveal that she has been kicked out of her school for bad behaviour. Bart is angry when he discovers that Marge has told Maggie that he will be her new tutor for the rest of the year.

9.06: "Woods"

To get extra credit, Bart signs himself up to be in charge of a group of first grade campers but realises that they are a lot tougher than he thought, and winds up putting them face to face with an incredibly rare bear in Shrubsville.

9.07: "Two Places at One Time"

Emma convinces Bart that it is about time they threw a celebration dinner to celebrate their engagement, but when the night arrives, their friends and family all have different places to be and must try to compromise.

9.08: "Thanksgiving Inquisition"

Bart goes along with Emma to meet her family for Thanksgiving but he realises that they are stranger than he thought and feels as if he is being involved in an inquisition. Meanwhile, Marge feels lonely without her son and husband on Thanksgiving.

9.09: "Back to the Basics"

Many budget cuts and "basics" at the college lead to a teacher and student's strike, and the dean must face the facts that he will have to deal with everybody's demands. Bart is embarassed after discovering that Marge has been appointed to help.

9.10: "Christmas Dictionary"

Shocked to discover that the Christmas season spirit has vanished from the college, he tries all he can to spread Christmas cheer but finds it harder than he thought, so instead, he starts writing a book called "Christmas Dictionary", which is a hit.

9.11: "Superbowl in Shrubsville"

Bart becomes determined to get the superbowl to come to Shrubsville next year, little does he know that his sister Lisa is also trying to get the superbowl to come to Springfield next year. It all soon turns into a sister/brother duel.

9.12: "Helping Larry"

Mr. Burns' famous son, Larry, comes to Shrubsville College to ask Bart for advice. He explains that his life is a total mess, and Bart agrees to help him to live a better life in exchange for some of the money Burns left Larry in his will.

9.13: "The Old Man and the 'C'"

Bart is shocked to discover that he has received a 'C' in one of his best subjects, and he becomes determined to find out why. He later overhears that his teacher has a drinking problem and was drunk at the time of grading his paper.

9.14: "Valentine's Day"

Valetine's Day is coming up, and Emma is worried that Bart is getting many valentines from the girls around the college, so she sets out to get revenge on them for trying to win her boyfriend's heart, but Bart is angry at her for doing this.

9.15: "Rodd and Todd Come to Stay"

Rodd and Todd Flanders transfer to Shrubsville College and it is revealed that they will be staying in Bart's dorm room for a while as Milhouse and Ed are on study leave. Bart begins to feel uncomfortable with them as they are now homosexuals.

9.16: "Bart vs. Charlie and Bob"

Charlie reveals that he is allowing Bob to stay in his apartment, much to Amanda's disapproval. Bart becomes determined to prove that Bob hasn't changed his evil ways, as he still doesn't trust him from his past experience in 8.03 "A Talk to Remember."

9.17: "Milhouse Runs Kamp Krusty"

Milhouse is asked to run the new, improved Kamp Krusty as he is good with children, but he finds it odd that Krusty has disappeared from the place and tries to find out why, and later realises that it could be because the clown recently passed away.

9.18: "Whatever Happened to Baby James?"

When Marge asks Bart to babysit James once again, he manages to get his baby brother out of his hands and realises that he has escaped to the Shrubsville mall. What makes it worse is the fact that a hostage situation is currently happening there.

9.19: "A Pointless Landmark Clip Show"

In the 200th "The Older Bart Simpson" episode, Bart and his roommates (who are portrayed as actors) host a party in the TOBS studios in which clips from previous episodes ensue, along with clips of episodes to come in the ninth and tenth season.

9.20: "Bart vs. Marge's Marriage"

Bart is shocked to discover that his mother Marge is marrying someone else when Homer is still techically alive, just in a deep sleep. He tries all he can to stop the plans of the wedding from going ahead, Emma worries that this will wreck her wedding with him.

9.21: "Ed the Lawyer"

Ed decides that he wants to become a lawyer, but when he gets a girlfriend, Bart and Milhouse become determined to prove that she will get in the way of his career dream, but Milhouse ends up falling in love with the girl as well in the process.

9.22: "Marry Christmas"

Emma starts making demands about her wedding to Bart, and she explains that she wants to wed on Christmas day. Unfortunately, Bart realises that this will cost a large sum of money and tries to explain this to Emma without making her upset.

9.23: "The Kite Stuff"

Milhouse and Ed become determined to win the large cash prize in the upcoming Shrubsville kite competition, but they first must build a sucessful kite but they find it harder than they thought it would be.

9.24: "Off with Her Wed!"

Emma's parents come to Shrubsville College only to announce that they can't afford to contribute any money to her and Bart's wedding, so the two attempt to set up a funding system to get the money that they need but are accused of stealing.
