Live at CBGBs
NYC - June 3, 1982
This is the earliest known recording of the band and our third outing at the club, our first without Chris Woods AKA Syd Sludge.  Evidence of the situation with Chris' Dad can be heard on the cover of 'Rock and Roll Swindle' where Dave substitutes the original Pistols' lyrics with "Syd can't play in the band because his Dad's a prick."  My favorite take of 'Money' was done during this show.  It brings back great memories of Dave and his upstanding qualities as a person.  CBGB's sound engineering sucked that night.  Equipped with inaudible monitor speakers, Sean and I both blurt out incorrect punch lines in '5441'.
