This is the recording Pat Duncan still plays on WFMU. Sean and Dave trade vocal duties. Dave's singing on 'No Quiet' is proof that we made fun of everyone - including ourselves. I think we picked up the car EFX up from some record we found at Goodwill. We started taking a lot of chances at this point as a band, moving away from the conventional American hardcore genre. If a tun came out as a spacey ballad like 'Hands Off', then so be it. While it might not have been hardcore enough for the A7 crowd, I really couldn't give a fuck. We enjoyed writing songs and hanging out together and in the end, that's what mattered. |
