The Fool's
Journey
by Ned Hogan, Jr.
Comming
all the way through a particularly oppressive and weighty vacancy
of a night it was a dazzeling morning. It described itself like clear
clear water. Trickling at first with completely delicate bird's steps,
tip-toeing, supurbly choatic rythms, through the leaves. (Like a moving
living cover over the edges of the camp) .........And then a few small
splashes of sound from some waking motions of the children..........
The universe had once again lined everything up just so, just, so.
That when Simon opened one eye and spied the finest specimen of wanderig
inverse hyku he had ever seen he was able to meet its quite reflexive
eye and not have it spontaniously vaporise. His huge intellect and
his even huger opinion of that was not in the way at the moment as
awe, wonder, joy, and four thousand two hundred and ten more modified
indicators swirled by and snatched it(it was actually quite insubstantial)
and then condensed around the rare beast's head, like bees made of
smoke. It was huge, nearly a meter tall when seated on its third,
hind, leg. And then, intrusively so, for the wandering identity trying
to keep it out and sleep in, a losing battle to begin with, but, with
his indemic almost genetic and cultivated world class laziness, he
managed to prolonge it until everyone else had succumed to its painful
magic. And still he did not open his (other)eye(s), satisfied, it
would seem, with just hearing the mornings commotion around him. I
imagined his good ear to the ground by accident of sleep and the sleepy
feet vibrating in. Ihe put the maiden in disarray but untouched wandering
half in and half out of a dreamy desire herself. (He made her (tricked
her into thinking she needed to) sneeze to wake myself up and then
spent the rest of the day cleaning up. Meanwhile, the dog never moved.
It became invisible. Well, actually, buried under the impending doom
living in the dirty landry in my room. it is hard for me to be specific
because nothing is! i am smilling at you good brother. you are like
a vitamin
