It was amazing hanging out with fans and friends in bands and seeing how the older cats still keep it rolling and energetic. We had an amazing time and look forward to an oppertunity to maybe play it again one day.
Did you make any good friends on the tour?
Well I met some people from the main stage I had never met before and the crew who erected the second stage were mad friendly and cool to work with, but as far as the second stage, I already knew everyone there.
Has there been any work on new material?
We are currently ending our new record entitled IV Constitution of Treason. We are looking at September 20th as the release date. The new stuff is more amazing than Gone Forever.
How has Century Media treated GOD FORBID?
Cenury Media has always been there for us through the good and the bad. We enjoy working with everyone at the label. They take their jobs seriously and have good work ethics.
How is the metal scene in New Jersey where you guys hail from?
I couldn't really tell you, we have been away from home for a long time, but I know that there is always mad love for us when we return.
You told me you're into some death and black metal, who are some bands in thoes genres you're into?
Well, I like CRADLE OF FILTH, DIMMU BORGIR, BEHEMOTH, NAPALM DEATH, NILE, GOATWHORE. There is alot of good music out there man.
Who writes more of the lyrics in the band?
Most of the lyrics are written by Dallas and Me. Doc helps out everynow and then.
Ok last question Byron, what's your view on file sharing on the internet?
I think its ok to download a song or two and if you like it, why not just go out and buy the record. Then you will be able to see the full version of the band through it's artwork. Not to mention if you look into the lyrics, you can see what the hell is being said. Besides most of the bands out there aren't making any money so hy not thoes bands you do like. It is mad appreciated.
