What inspired alot of the lyrics for "Faces/God Damn War"?
Faces was inspired by my life and experiences. WARPED/GD War was inspired by 9-11 and the war that followed.
Have you made any plans to make any videos from the album?
Eventually I would like to do a "Pisses Me Off" video!
What does the future hold for SAVATAGE?
I believe we will do some sort of CD/DVD for our 25th anniversary. I am not sure about touring and other things.
Has there been any work on a new TRANS-SIBERIAN album?
We are working on the next non-holiday TSO cd now. It's called "Nightcastle" and will be released in late 2006.
How about another solo album?
I am working on another right now. W.A.R.P.E.D. was released. It is the full version of GDWar. The next one will be called "Pins and Needles". I hope to have it out by summer 2006. I also released a Holiday EP called "Music Man". Info on all these can be found on my web-site: www.chriscaffery.com
What kind of tour plans do you have after the Winter Tour?
I am sleeping for a week and then going right to the studio!
Ok Chris, last question, I like to ask everyone I interview this question. What's your view on downloading music on the internet?
I am all for it, if you pay for what you get. The buisness is dying because of it, the fans have to realize that this is our lives and jobs. I do not think someone would like it if we took 80% of their paychecks each week. This is how much sales are suffering in some places because of it. Digital downloading is the future, hopefully this will get controlled so we can actually have a MUSIC buisness in the future.
