For all the readers who aren't farmilliar with FLESHGRIND, could you give us a brief summary of the band?
Well we formed many moons ago, in 1993, put out two Demos, back when bands released proper demo tapes. We put out three albums, a live CD, and played hundreds of shows.
FLESHGRIND is from Chicago correct? How is the death metal scene out there? Do you play lots of gigs and clubs out there?
Yes, we're from Chicago. The scene has always been fairly good out here, it's the death metal capital I would have to say. Plus the most metal is sold in this area. We don't play out here too much, we don't want to burn our good draw out. We only play two or three times a year here.
So when that two or three times come around thje fans get a real treat then?
Yeah you know we don't want to be the house band anywhere. Plus you can play different areas of the city. It's a scenes within a scene too, so that helps.
Has there been any work on a follow up to 2003's "Murder Without End"?
Nothing recorded, we're currently writing. We have a new drummer by the of Jesse Kehoe who also plays in a band called SCREAMING AFTERBIRTH.
