Being a true metal band in Northeast Pennsylvania is a hard task, especially if you're old school metal. Well, Ethereal Collapse are able to pull their own weight among the hardcore scene that populates the area. With their debute album, Fallen Hope, this band, formally called Deity, has made a huge impact on the local scene. With their aggressive guitar work, pounding bass, blistering drums, and half harsh, half clean vocals, this band is bringing back the sound that Death left off with. Every song on this album is an ass kicker....no fillers on here. No sir, all ass kicking thrash metal here. These guys could easily get signed to a major label, and I can see it happening very soon.
