Dylan Baker is an award-winning actor who has starred in a wide range of critically acclaimed feature films, television series and stage productions. He earned his Master of Fine Arts from the prestigious Yale School of Drama and appeared onstage in such Yale Repertory productions as "Rum and Coke," "About Face" and "Richard III."

Baker received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Actor for his performance in the film "Happiness." He is starring in the upcoming features "Head of State" opposite Chris Rock and Bernie Mac, as well as "How to Deal." His additional film credits include roles in "A Gentleman's Game," "Changing Lanes," "The Road to Perdition," "Along Came a Spider," "The Tailor of Panama," "The Cell," "Requiem for a Dream," "Thirteen Days," "Random Hearts," "Simply Irresistible," "Committed," "Oxygen," "Celebrity," "Disclosure," "Delirious," "The Long Walk Home," "The Wizard of Loneliness," "The Last of the Mohicans" and "Planes, Trains and Automobiles."

Baker starred in the critically acclaimed cable film "The Laramie Project," as well as the cable miniseries "From the Earth to the Moon." He also portrayed the zealous detective Arthur Polson in the drama series "Murder One" and was a regular on the television series "Feds." Additionally, he starred in the miniseries "Benjamin Franklin," "Return to Lonesome Dove," "Love, Honor & Obey: The Last Mafia Marriage" and "The Murder of Mary Phagan." His other television credits include a recurring role on "Big Apple" and guest starring roles on "C.S.I.: Crime Scene Investigation," "Strangers With Candy," "Oz," "The Practice," "Northern Exposure" and "Law & Order."

Baker earned Tony Award and Drama Desk Award nominations for his role as Prince in the Broadway production of "La Bete." He also received a Theatre World Award for his work in the Broadway production of "Eastern Standard," and an Obie Award for his performance in the off-Broadway production of "Not About Heroes." His additional theater credits include starring roles in "Homebody/Kabul," "What the Butler Saw," "Tartuffe," "That Championship Season," "Dearly Departed," "The Common Pursuit," "Much Ado About Nothing" and "Two Gentleman of Verona." In addition to being a charter member of the Drama Department Theatre Co., Baker also directed such plays as "The Taming of the Shrew," "The Importance of Being Earnest" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival.
