Kellie Waymire received her bachelor’s degree in theatre at Southern Methodist University. She went on to earn her Master of Fine Arts from the University of California at San Diego, before pursuing a professional career in acting. No stranger to the independent film world, Waymire appeared in “Playing by Heart” with Angelina Jolie and Sean Connery, “Sunset Strip” and “Buddy Boy.” Additionally, she has had starring roles in “Maniacts,” “Screenland Drive” and “Dig a Hole, Find a Finger.” Waymire‘s television credits include recurring roles on “Six Feet Under,” “Star Trek Enterprise” and “Wolf Lake.” She also has made guest appearances on “C.S.I.: Crime Scene Investigation,” “The X-Files,” “The Practice,” “Judging Amy,” “Ally McBeal,” “Yes, Dear” and “Seinfeld.” Waymire has performed at many prestigious theaters, including the South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, California, the Old Globe in San Diego, the Pasadena Playhouse and the Intiman in Seattle. She has received critical praise for her work in the production of “Sylvia,” for which she received a Dramalogue Award for Outstanding Performance and a Bay Area Theatre Critics Award nomination.
