A Car Named Buddy

  A Car (Part One)

  I started life so clean and bright
  Brand new with not one scratch in sight

  My greatest future stood ahead
  My owner had a foot of lead

  I purred just like a pussy cat
  While my fast owner happy sat

  I never thought a car wrote verse
  But what the heck, you've heard much worse

  Back to my story anyway
  The first few years were fun I say

  And then one day my fate did turn
  Transmission gone, the oil did burn

  To be laid up was hard for me
  I loved the road, this you must see

  The parts were ordered for my case
  That poor mechanic had to chase

  I'll tell you more about my woes
  But not right now, that's how it goes

  {I guess this is going to a serial guys.   This
  car is taking over.  Rog........}

  The Poetic Plumber

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, GIRLS AND BOYS, AND OTHER GOOD CARS.

Welcome to what I believe to be the first ever all rhyming poetic serial.

Your host will be a car.  A very special car.
A car who will take you through so much.   A car who will find a special place in your heart.

The serial will kick off before the end of this year, 2009.

The Poetic Plumber

PS:  Each serial episode will consist of stupendous rhyming by the car, and then words written by me after our friend is finished.  My words will always be in parentheses. { }

ANOTHER PS:  The full name of our car will be known in the second episode.

YET ANOTHER PS:  The actual name of this great all rhyming poetic serial will be at the top of the third episode, just as it is at the top of this page.
