Stargate. I love the show. I love the characters. I've seen the movie a million times (The one with Kurt Russell - the other is a pilot to the show.) I have the TV Guide with Michael Shanks and Richard Dean Anderson on the cover. Yea, I watch MacGyver, too - everyday at 1:00pm on TV Land. It's one of the few shows I have loved since I was little. (Jeapordy and Wheele of Fortune don't count.) Is this a fan page? Yea, I guess so, I mean, I like Scifi, but there's hardly a plot or story line to it. . . Stargate SG-1 seems like it could actually be real. It's not far off into space, there are real theories, and the actors could be real people, and don't you think it's ignorant to think we're alone? The history presented in the show is factual, these guys did their homework. It's an educated show, and i don't have to feel like my IQ points are dropping when I watch it. . . actually I feel smarter after watching it. That and rekindled in the fact that we are not alone. The actors are very convincing (yes, dear people, I know it's their job to be convincing, but some actors shouldn't be acting.) By far, Michael Shanks' years in acting school paid off. . . he is so beleivable that it blows me away. Each person is so different from his / her (can't be a "sexist" female)chacter, that it's a wonder why they weren't famous earlier. The stories are great, too - almost real. |
