| Real Name: Joachim "Jay" Armster Template: Neutral Age: Unknown, well over 200 Age Apparent: 25 Gender: Male Height: 6'2" Weight: 165lbs Eyes: Grey-Blue Hair: Grey-Blue, below shoulder length Powers/Mutations: --He's a vampire, so every power and flaw inherent in vampirism (Bursts of speed/strength, virtual invulnerability, killed by fire and sunlight) --He can float about half a metre above the ground. He prefers to use this instead walking/running, although the relative speed is the same. --He can manifest five swords which he can control telekinetically. He has two styles, or stances, which he uses. --By focusing his powers for a few moments, he can unleash special attacks, depending on which stance he's in. --Defensive stance: The five swords circle around him. They can swing out to attack anything around him. Deals less damage than the agressive stance, but covers more area and attacks faster. His special attack in this stance is his swords spinning around him very rapidly, creating a short whirlwind of blades. The damage potential is low, but the blades spin very quickly and all around him. --Agressive stance: The five swords stay vertical and immobile behind him and dart forward very quickly when he attacks. Has a slower rate of fire and does not cover as much as the defensive stance, but trades that for much more damage capability. His special attack in this stance causes the swords to form a vertical circle, out of which a large energy beam fires. It is difficult to control, but does much damage. --His powers become stronger at night time, and even stronger when it is a new moon. The combined effect of the Ebony Stone, night time and the new moon make him a virtual demigod of the night, and he gains extra powers, and the ability to charge his special attacks instantaneously. --Advanced Defensive Powers: He becomes invulnerable, his swords acting as a perfect shield around him. --Advanced Aggressive Powers: His five swords plunge into the ground up to the hilt beside him and five large, black blades with golden edges emerge around the target, point first, up to the hilt. History: --Jay was the son of an medieval alchemist, who was attempting to create the Philosopher's Stone, which granted the owner eternal youth and the ability to transform base metals into gold. He failed abismally and ended up creating two other stones, the Ebony Stone and the Crimson Stone. The Ebony Stone created a shroud of darkness around it which no daylight could penetrate, and the Crimson Stone gave power to the owner, proportional to the amount of blood the owner spilled. Unfortunately, the Stones also carried with them the Vampire's Curse, and turned Jay's father into a child of the night. When he died, killed by vampire hunters, he left the two stones to his son, warning him of their danger and asking Jay to destroy them. Jay was, however, tempted by their power and chose to keep them, becoming a Vampire himself. However, unlike his father, he was a much more successful vampire and used the powers of the Stones to their full, making him a very, very powerful vampire indeed. Personality: --Jay is relatively light hearted for a vampire, and even demonstrates a sense of humour. He is, however, very self-centered, like most vampires, and will only do things if they have worthwhile benefits for him to reap. Also, like all vampires, Jay is a night-person, refusing to go out in daylight, and even staying awake during daytime is difficult for him, however, the Ebony Stone offsets this flaw, granting him full power even during the day. Favorite Music & Passtime: --Techno, Dance, House, etc. Jay is a pretty good DJ, and has his own set, with which he practices often. Quirks, limitations, abilities, and other weird stuff: --Vampirism according to White-Wolf: --Vulnerablility to sunlight and fire. --Stakes only paralyse the vampire, and only if directly in the heart. --Crosses and other religious symbols don't work, unless the holder possesses true faith in the object. In this day and age, such a faith is rare, even among clergymen. Most of the time, vampires can just walk up to the person holding the symbol and pluck it out of their hands and snap it in half before attacking the unfortunate person, who can't belive his/her eyes. --Garlic doesn't work, period. --Vampires only produce other vampires by performing the Embrace. Otherwise, the vampire's Kiss leaves no lasting effects. --Lack of blood, or proximity to exposed flame or sunlight causes vampires to be succeptible to Frenzy. |
