Well...the future of the YardRats is kind've up in the air. Members of the band are
in a transition stage. The core members of Stagepass: Kelly / Jim / Colin and Kevin,
are working on forming a Bruce Springsteen / Southside Johnny project called Stone Pony, bringing on Doug as a guitarist. Butch Capaldi, one of the founding members of YardRats has left the project. Whether or not the YardRats become Stone Pony, or continues on as the kick-ass classic rock project that it is, remains to be seen. There's definitely a place in the local music scene for the music of the YardRats and hopefully we'll continue on, bringing you the music of Pink Floyd, MSB, and all the other great songs the YardRats were known for.
