March 28, 2001: Four actors and one cameraman set out to create the first of the many films to be featured at Valdez Productions. This is where it all started... Actually, the true story, we all had nothing to do one day during spring break from school. So some of the guys came over to hang out at my house. We ended up spending the day making small ridiculous skits off the top of our heads, using my new Sony miniDV camera.
Yes, these pieces of seemingly comedic genious are nothing but 100% improvised ludicrousness. Had you fooled didn't we? Well it appears, in a state of utter boredom, we have a knack for absurdity. Perhaps we should give some credit to our theater program at school, graciously delivering the ComedySportz Highschool League at Eastlake. Nelson Villaluz, along with Sean Ferons and myself, are all former team members.
