Could I . . . ?  Sequel to Falling into You   They were so caught up in their kiss that they didn't hear the noises coming from outside the door, nor did they notice the door open to two very worried roommates.  They also missed the expressions of shock on their faces.   Mina and Andrew:  "Did we miss something?!"   Serena and Darien broke their kiss for a brief moment,   Serena:  "I love you."   Darien:  "I love you too."   The two were once again locked into an intense gaze as blue clashed with blue. Over and Over I look in your eyes you are all I desire you have captured me   Time stopped as they looked at each other.  Darien broke the silence,   "Serena?"   "Hmm?"   "Would you like to go out with me on a date?"   "I thought you'd never ask."   "Really?  So, you'll go with me?"   "Of course Muffin."   "Great, so, I'll pick you up around 7."   "Sure."   The pair got up from the dryer they were sleeping on, passing their paralyzed and dumbfounded roommates.   "Serena, let me walk you to your apartment."   "Alright."   Darien gave Serena his arm and she gladly accepted. They smiled and then proceeded walking out the door.   Mina and Andrew gaped at the couple.  They kept staring from the dryer to the door to each other.  Neither could believe or comprehend what had just happened.   Andrew:  "You know, I never thought that this would ever happen."   Nod.   "I mean, I always knew that Dare had a thing for her, but I never thought he would do anything about it."   "Same here.  Sere liked Dariebn from day one.  I wonder what changed?"   Silence.   "Well, there's only one way to find out."   The two looked at each other briefly before running out of the laundry room, leaving a cloud or dust behind them. Mina and Serena's Apartment:   Mina ran breathlessly into the apartment she shared with Serena, slamming the door behind her, causing some glass figurines to vibrate slightly.   "SERENA!!!"   Silence.   Tap.   Tap.   Tap.   Tap.   Tap.   "SERENA!!"   Silence.   Tap.   Tap.   Ta-   "REN-"   "What!?  I'm in the shower!  Give me a break!  I've been locked up in the laundry room for the entire NIGHT!"   "Well, hurry up!  We need to talk . . . NOW!"   Silence.   'This might take awhile,' Mina thought as she walked over to the couch and picked up a magazine.   'I wonder how Andrew's doing . . . ' I want to hold you I want to be close to you I never want to let go Andrew and Darien's Apartment:   Andrew ran into his and Darien's apartment out of breath, only to find his roommate missing.   Andrew scanned the living room and the kitchen then ran to Darien's bedroom.   Nothing.   'Where the hell is he!?!!!'   Drip.   Drip.   Drip.   "DARE!!" Andrew said as he banged on the bathroom door.   "DARE!!"   "WHAT?!!  Can't a guy take a shower in PEACE!!"   "We need to talk!"   "FINE!!"   Silence.   Tap.   Tap.   Silence.   Tap.   Ta-   "DARIEN!!"   "What is it now?!"   "Are-"   "I'm taking my shower FIRST!"   Before Andrew had a chance to respond, he heard the shower turn on.   'Sigh.  This might take awhile.' "   "Yes!"   "DarienandIconfessedthatwelikedeachothermaybeevenloved eachotherthenwegotlockedinthelaundryroomfellasleeponthedryerwokeupand kissed."   Luckily Mina was trained in "Serena," so she didn't have any trouble deciphering her words.  Mina knew that they liked each other, but getting them together was a huge task.  She was also glad that they got locked into laundry room so that they could realize what she already knew.   'Must be fate,' thought Mina as a huge grin spread across her face.   Serena didn't know what to make of Mina's silence.  It was confusing and troubling to her.   "Well, aren't you going to say anything?"   "Yes."   'Oh no,' thought Serena, 'she won't say THAT!'   "Mina, please, don-"   "I told you so."   "Ugh!"   "So where's he taking you?"   "Don't know, and I don't know what to wear!"   "Don't worry, I do." Over and over I've dreamed of this night Now you're here by my side You are next to me I want to hold you to touch you and taste you And make you want no one but me I wish that this kiss could never end Oh baby please   Darien finally opted on wearing a black tuxedo.  He got Serena a bouquet of perfect red roses . . . their favorite.  Darien also managed to get last minute reservations at the Rose Garden.  He didn't understand how though.  It was a very popular restaurant and they don't take last minute reservations.  The woman he spoke to even got him a private room known as the Moon Room.  Its named that because the skylight is placed so that the moon's rays filter in, illuminating the room so that it glows a faint silver color.  The woman also said that she'd have the room decorated with white and red roses and candles.   It was more than Darien expected to get.  He was thankful for such a romantic setting.  Now all he had to do was get his angel . . . Could I hold you for a lifetime Could I look into your eyes   Darien nervously stood in front of Serena's door.  He ran his hand through his jet-black hair before knocking lightly.   Silence.   'Guess I didn't knock hard enough.'   He knocked again, this time a little harder.  He heard footsteps coming towards the door, before hearing the locks unlatch and the door creak to . . . the most heavenly creature he had ever seen.  He stood there gaping at her as she blushed profusely.   She wore a long, light blue spagetti strap dress that hugged her figure nicely.  A pair of pearl clips accentuated her signature meatball hairstyle.  Her lips were glossed in a light pink shade and her face glowed like an angel.   He somehow managed to give her the flowers while still gazing intently at her.  She finally looked up at him as blue clashed with blue. Could I have this night to share this night together Could I hold you close beside me Could I hold you for all time   "Ahem."   "Huh?"   "What?"   "Oh, Sere!  Look at the pretty roses your Darien brought for you!  Why don't I put them in a vase so you two lovebirds can go on your date."   Mina took the roses from Serena and pushed her out the door before closing it.   Serena was surprised by Mina's actions and lost her balance.  She closed her eyes.  Instead of pain, she felt an all-too- familiar pair of arms encircle her.  She slowly fluttered her eyes open and met his midnight eyes.  She blushed slightly.   "We have to stop meeting like this, not that I mind," he said huskily in her ear.   She shivered.  She could feel his hot breath on her ear and it caused things to stir inside of her.  She blushed again, turning an even deeper red.   Both Serena and Darien were broken out of their reveries by Mina's loud voice,   "You guys cannot have your date on the doorstep!  So leave already!  It's 7:15!  Move it!"   "Shall we, mi'lady?"   "We shall."   Darien offered his arm to Serena and they were on their way. I don't want any night to go by Without you by my side I just want all my days spent being next to you lived for just loving you And baby, oh by the way   True to his word, the couple arrived a few minutes later.  Darien got out of the car and walked over to the passenger side.  He opened the door and helped a blindfolded Serena out.   "Can I take this stupid thing off??!!" she said pouting her pink lips.   It took all of his self-control not to give in and kiss the living daylights out of her.   'She just looks too cute!  I want this night to be perfect.'   "Sorry, love, but not yet," he said as he helped her walk through the parking lot and into the restaurant.   "Can I help you?"   "Chiba, party of two."   "Oh, yes, please follow me."   They followed him to the Moon Room.  Once inside, the man closed the doors.  Darien gasped.  He never expected this much. There were red and white roses hanging like curtains all over the room. There were also petals scattered about on the floor.  Soft music was playing in the background and someone had ordered dinner for them.   Darien walked over to the table.  There was a note with his name on it.  It read:   Darien-    Don't worry about the expenses, nothing's too good for my best friend.  She means a lot to me, so you'd better take good care of her.  I own the restaurant and know what she likes. Andrew told me what you like, so I took the liberty of preparing dinner for you.  Enjoy!  Tell Serena I said hello.       -Lita   'Well, that certainly explains how I got reservations and all this!  I never knew that Lita ow-'   "Darien?  Darien?  Where are you?"   'Oh no!  I forgot about Serena!'   Darien walked over to Serena and wrapped an arm around her tiny waist.  He noticed that there was a full moon out and wanted Serena to see the spectactular sight it made.  He walked her over to the sky light.  The moon's rays fell upon her face, making her already radiant face glow even more.   He stood a little away from her and told her to take the blindfold off.   "Finally!  I-"   Serena gasped at the sight she saw.  The moon, the roses, the music, the candles . . . it was all too perfect!  She turned around and faced Darien who was grinning.  She ran to him and hugged him tightly.  He returned the gesture equally, inhaling her scent once more.   "Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you!  You didn't have to do all this for me!  Its so romantic . . . and beautiful!"   "I wanted to do this for you and its not as beautiful as you."   She blushed as they held each other under the moonlight.  There were content with just being in each other's presence.  They started dancing to the slow music.
