ANGEL OF MINE(Part 4) BY:JLaLa Stretching Serena got up from her bed and sun's rays hit her face making her squint.Her eyes focused on at the open window looking at the garden and a look of pure happiness went across her face.Her romantic interlude last night seemed like a dream.*Was it?",she thought and got up to change when something caught her eye.A single red rose laid on her pillow.A soft smile came to her lips and she walked to her bathroom.Closing the door she squealed and began to get ready.This was defintely not a dream! ************************** The royal court sat in dining room eating breakfast.At the head of the table Queen Gaia sat.The Prince and the guards were all on one side.The Princesses on the other.Darien sat silently waited as the others chattered on about last nights events,his mind was on something else. More like someone else.Him and Serena had finally went to bed at sunrise.He had only four hours of sleep but it was worth his fatigue.Suddenly he was awake for Serena had walked in.It was amazing how she brightened up a room.Her face was glowing and her hair was down, straight and shiny.She wore a peach sleeveless sundress and some matching sandals on her small feet.Carrying a plate of food she placed it on the table in front of Darien.As she leaned forward the neckhole of her dress opened making Darien choke on his toast. "Darien's choking!",yelled Raye and Malachite hit him on the back. After coughing the food out,Darien drank some water. "I'm okay everyone",he assured and sat down staring at Serena who stood on the side smiling slyly.She knew why him choked. "Darling,are you alright?",the queen asked in her motherly manner. "Why did you choke?" "I was distracted",he said and glared at Serena for looking sexy. "What could possibly distract enough to make you choke?",she muttered and they all sat back down.She looked at Serena and smiled."Why don't you join us Serena?You've been standing there all that time".Serena sat and smile wickedly at Darien.*Two can play this game*,he thought and unbottom the top part of his shirt.It reveal part of his hard chest. Serena winced and tried to hide her discomfort to everyone by crossing her legs.Instead of being sexy she stupidly banged one of her knees against the table. "Ouch!My God that hurt!",she exclaimed and pushed her seat back.The guards tried to cover their laughter at Serena as she held her knee up. "You okay Serena?",asked Ami,the doctor of the group."Looks like it hurt,could cause some bruising". "Here can you look at it?",she asked and held her knee up.She grimaced in pain but winked at Darien.Watching he saw that as Ami looked at her knee,Serena's dress went up revealing her milky thigh.He swallowed the lump in his throat and started to pour himself a drink.Suddenly a cold feeling came to his hand and looked down to see his glass overflowing! The liquid was spreading to his pants and he stood up to clean himself up.She had done it again! "What's with you today,Darien?",Jedite asked him."You can't seem to get yourself together.I swear,Serena's rubbing off on you".Both of them looked up at him in annoyed expressions.Slowly Serena stood up. "Well...I gotta go do my morning chores...",she said got up. "And I have to change my clothes",Darien said also getting up and walked toward the door almost colliding with Serena.After mumbling apologies they walked out from different doors. "They are so weird...",Mina said and laughed."You could have sworn they were a thing" ******************************** Serena sat in a field of flower.Grass surrounded her and her horse stood eating grass.Suddenly a two hands wrapped around her face.A smile played on her lips knowing who it was.She then found herself in a passionate kiss with the person.Opening them Serena saw Darien kneeling before her in a white button down shirt and beige pants.He traced her face and put his finger to her lips.She then attempted to bite it but Darien swiftly move his finger. "Thank you for making me look like a royal idiot",he said jokingly and sat next to her. "Well that's what you get for trying to look",she answered back and stood up."By the way is that how you always pour drinks?I should come to breakfast more often!" She laughed and Darien got up trying to make a grab for her.Serena screamed and ran to her horse. "Why you little minx!",he yelled to her as she continued to laughed him."I'll get you for that wisecrack!" "You'll have to catch me first",Serena answered back and got on her horse.She then rode away leaving a trail of dust behind her.Darien got on his horse(yeah,he had a horse with him!)and chased her.Her yells were loud and could be heard all the way from the palace where the four guards and princesses sat on some patio chairs.They all looked at each other when they heard the high pitched yell pierced the air. "What the hell was that?",asked Lita getting up. "I don't know",said Neflyte and got up."But I'm about to find out" The others joined as he ran towards the forest. ********************************* "Okay!",Serena said and stopped her horse."I give up".The two got off their horses and stood breathless.They stood in a field of tall grass. "We're not finshed yet",he told her and a wicked smiled cross her handsome face."I'm gonna have to punished you!".Grabbing her from the waist he pulled swiftly making her dodge out of the way but making them both fall to the ground.Darien's chest laid on top of Serena's.The two were laughing crazily and he began to kiss Serena on her neck to her face."Now,who do you love the most?" "That hamster my mom gave me for my eighth birthday",she joked and he began tickling her everywhere."I'm just kidding!Mercy!Mercy!" "Now who do you love the most?",he asked her again and she stared at him with her bewitching blue eyes.His breath stopped as he looked down at her. "I love you",she said seriously."When I first saw you I already knew there was something inside of you.Something magical that caught my eye and my heart".He responded by kissing hard with a lustful force. "Well I love you more than life itself,Serena",Darien told her with pure bliss and adoaration on his face.The two kissed again with full blown passion.They drank in each other like a sweet wine that seemed to intoxicate them.Darien reached under her dress and she began to unbuckling his belt when they heard a loud cough.Looking up the couple saw they friends standing there in a stupor! "Whoa",Mina said and blushed furiously for interupting them."This is one of those awkward moments,isn't it?" "I'd say so",agreed Malachite. "You know",said Serena."I think you should probably get off me now. The mood is pretty much gone". "Oh..yeah..sure",Darien said and got up brushing dirt off his clothes. Serena stood up and straightened her dress. "What's going on here?",asked Ami trying to be serious but actually trying to not laughed at their awkwardness. "Yeah when did you from buddy,buddy to really buddy,buddy",Zoicite asked and everyone laughed at his emphasized sentence it seemed that the ice was broken but their was deperate need for an explanation. They all sat on the ground and Darien put his arm around Serena. "What happened between you two?",Raye asked smiling coyly. "I lost my heart",Darien said simply."Nothing else to explain" "When did this happen?",asked Lita who was totally engulf in the romance. "Last night",said Serena. "Last night...whoa ho buddy!",Jedite said and slapped Darien on the back.Every responded by whacking him for being a dork."What I'd do?!" "Nothing you moron!",yelled Raye and stuck her tongue out at him. "You know you like me",he said and Raye scowled but blushed.Perhaps she did...a little. ************************************ Serena and Darien were finally alone.After they explained their story leaving out a few intimate details,the group had left them alone.They had wandered to a part of the palace grounds they use to play in.A weeping willow tree stood and on one of its branches was a swing.Darien had made it for Serena when she was seven. "Remember when you made that for me?",she asked as they walked to it,hand and hand. "Yeah I nearly got killed putting that thing up",he exclaimed and she walked to it.Kneeling on the wooden seat and held the ropes. Darien walked to her and kneel on it also,so that the two were face to face.They were inches apart and he kissed her lightly. "Thank you for loving me" "I wouldn't have it any other way",she answered.Twilight was near and storm clouds were gathering in the sky.Suddenly a light rain came pouring down on them and they laughed.The water felt good on their warm faces."We better get going".They began running when Darien scooped Serena up.She yelled and held his neck.As they approached the palace he put her down gently.Walking into the halls they stopped in a quiet hallway to seperate.Before he left he kissed softly and turned to leave. "Wait",he said and she turned to him."I forgot something" "What?",she asked him. "My heart",he said and winked at her.She smiled brilliantly and he turned to leaved.Walking to her room,Serena her a murmur of voices.She stopped to listen and did not mean to eavesdrop but then she couldn't help but gasp in horror from what she heard... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A cliffhanger!So how'd you like it?Part 5 is coming!Bye!
