and her buddies so puh-leeze don't sue me.

ANGEL OF MINE(Part 6)

The sensation of falling in the portal made Serena feel as if
someone was ripping her arms off.She tried to remain calm
though it seemed like eternity in some vortex in space.Suddenly
she was falling and before she knew it had landed.On Hard Ground
and boy did it hurt like hell!She shook her head and focused her
eyes on where she was.It was night and the mood was quiet,serene.
Serena could only hear the sound of crickets in the grass and in
the distance a tall ivory looking palace towered over a small village.
She recognized it immediately.The Moon Kingdom.She was actually here!
She had done it!
"Yes!",she yelled into the air."I actually freaking did it!".Serena
jumped up and down but stopped in her tracks when she heard the voices.
"Oh no".Quickly she scrambled about and finally thought of something.
Serena sat on the ground and ripped her dress.Two soldiers approach
and stopped when they spotted her.Putting a hurt look on her face and
holding her leg she whimpered up at them in false pain.
"You alright?",said one.He was blond and pudgy wearing a silver
uniform with Moon Kingdom insignia.
"Yes sir",she answered and batted her eyelashes innocently."I just hurt
my leg but I'll be alright".Serena got up and flashed them a bewitching
smile.Their eyes went to her ripped dress and the other guard,a tall
dark haired man with emerald eyes nudged him.
"You sure miss?",he said."You dress is quite ripped".
"Yes I'm alright",Serena smiled and walked away trying to pretend she
had a fake limp."Bye now".With that she walked slowly to the beginning
of the village.The guards stood in awe.For they had saw something
amazing.
"Hey Pete",said the short guard."She remind you of anyone?"
"Pretty little thing",said Pete."She seems familiar,but who Arthur?"
"Why,she's the spitting image of the queen",Arthur told him."Look
just like her majesty when she was about sixteen"
"Yes,you're right",Pete said and snapped his fingers."Think they're
related in a way".The two looked at each other but quickly shook
their heads.
"Nah",they said together and walked off.

"I'm sorry to announce that Earth is now at war with the NegaVerse"
,Queen Gaia said sadly from her throne.Darien sat next to her
as the Princesses and the Guards stood by each monarch's side."We will
use every precaution we can to keep our people safe and spare as many
lives even if we must sacrifice our own".The people who had heard the
announcement gasped and some people had tears of fright in their eyes.
"Please remain calm.This is all I asked of you,for now I must discuss
some manners with my son and his court".The crowd of people who had
come for the announcement left and the court dismissed themselves to a
private room of the Queen.Darien sat by the window looking out at the
sky wishing he knew where Serena was.If she was okay.If she like him
was torturing herself in longing to see him again.He knew he was.Darien
could see her face every time he closed his eyes and almost feel her
warm peach skin against him.Tears were threatning to fall from his eyes
when his attention turn back to his mother who was closing the door.
The others were quiet,hushed over the news.The queen sat in a chair
and folded her hands together."Your parents have all been called here
and within a few days might arrive.I however feel that we might detain
them from coming for their safety"
"What must we do,my queen?",said Ami in a small voice."I for one will
not sit in here and wait for something to happen".She stood firm though
inside she shook with fear.Ami then felt someone take her hand and looked
up to see Zoicite smiling at her.Reassuring her and making her strong.
A crimson colored her face and coughed as she looked down.
"Nor will I",Zoicite said."Please tell what you plan to do,your
majesty?"
"Within a day,Our soldiers will fight",she said with a hardness in her
voice."We however do not have as strong a defense as the NegaVerse for
they fight with magic but we have will.We are strong spirits and minds
who will not give up.Do not be afraid to be afraid but do not dwell in
fear.I will not lie,we might possibly NO most likely lose some lives.
Do not grieve at first,grieve after we have done what we could.You are
all my finest warriors and I have faith".Tears ran down each person's
face over the Queen's firm words.They held their heads in dignity
suddenly strong from her well spoken diction.
"I speak for all of us",Mina said stepping forward."We will fight with
all hearts and souls to make sure we keep peace.You need not worry
about us for we will make you proud,your majesty".Stepping back Mina
felt herself shaking inside from determination.Malachite took her hand
and kissed it.Telling her that they would fight side by side always.
"I have no doubt,you will",The queen responded."However,there is
another important manner at hand".She walked over to Darien who stood
in the middle of his friends.She took his hand and looked at him.
"You are my pride and joy.I must know if you are willing to help
defeat the NegaVerse at whatever cost"
"I am mother",he said boldly and something sad gleamed in Queen
Gaia's eyes.What she was to say might change his life.
"Are you willing,my son to be marry,not for love but for an alliance
with another Kingdom",she said and looked in his eyes.Darien closed
his eyes trying to hold in the incredibly heavy feeling in his chest.
He opened his eyes and looked at his mother who was sadden at the
desperation of their situation.
"Mother I cannot answer a question that needs more than a one second
thought.Excuse me",he said and with that Darien left.His mother sat
back down and covered her face with her hand.
"Let us go after him,My Queen",Raye said and they departed leaving
the anguished queen.

*Serena,where are you?*,Darien thought sitting in a gazebo of the
royal gardens.He sat down in despair when his friends appeared
with worry in their eyes.
"She did not say it was definite",Raye said firmly and sat next to him.
Suddenly Raye realized who was missing."Where's Serena?" Everyone then
looked around realizing their sweet friend was missing.
"She's gone",he said obviously depressed."She came to my room last
night and told she was leaving.Serena already knew about what was
happening and she left to find a way to help.I wish I had gone with
her".Shock ran within them but most of all worry over her safety and
her return to them where she belonged.
"Do not say that",Jedite told him and touched his shoulder brotherly.
"It's your duty to help"
"Why must my duty interfere with the one thing I want the most!",he
demanded angrily and stood up.He looked at all of them with desperation.
"Why must I be torn between my duty as a prince and my duty to myself.
I love Serena and I cannot marry anyone but her but I must also defend
helpless people against the evil coming.Why is it me who must decide
the fate of billions?" They looked in sympathy over the stricken Prince
for they had never been with that face with a choice that important.
"Cousin",Raye said and looked at him with concern."This is your choice
and I most likely do not know how it feels.So take all the time you
must for I can't possibly imagine how I would decide.We'll leave
you alone" They all stood up to leave when Lita stopped.
"I know whatever you decide,Darien",she said."Serena would support you
all the way"

The night had sneaked up on Darien for he had spent his whole day there
thinking of what he had to do,what he wanted to do,and how much this
was affecting the Kingdom.Out of nowhere a conversation in his mind
played.
^Flashback^
"Darien,do anything to keep Earth safe and I do mean anything",Serena
said."Please Promise me this"
"Of course",he said."Anything"
^End Flashback^
Darien realized why she had said it.Serena knew that he would do
anything she said regardless.She had that kind of bewitching way of
hers.He knew what to do.A promise is a promise.Darien began to walk,
his steps heavy with sorrow.Stopping in front of his mother's meeting
room,he opened the door.Inside was the Queen along with his guards
and the princesses.All eyes were on him as he closed the door.
Darien stood in his place and cleared his throat.
"I have come to a decision",Darien said with a hoarse voice."If you
must,arrange a marriage as soon as it is needed".He left quickly
slamming the door.A forlorn look on everyone's face.
*I'm sorry Serena*,thought Queen Gaia.

It was evening in the Moon Kingdom and Serena walked around the
village.The houses were good sized and look sturdy but there was
something uneasy in her.A feeling that could not be easily swept
away.*He's done it*,she realized.Serena felt happy that she had given
them a possibility of peace but her heart ached for Darien.To see his
face and to hear him say her name.She looked at the view of Earth from
the Moon.It seemed so small a thought she had also had when she looked
at the moon from Earth.Serena felt desperately heartbroken.Things
couldn't get any worse.Suddenly it all went black.

Serena's head felt heavy.Struggling she got up and felt a bandage
on her head.Darkness surrounded where she laid and fear pulsed in
her veins.Where was she?She had failed to noticed a person sitting
in a corner watching her quietly.
"Who's there?",she asked shakily pulling up a blanket to her chin.
Wait...blanket?Where did this come from?
"It's alright",the light,pretty voice said."I'm not going to hurt you"
Silently the person stood up and went to a fireplace.Whoever it was,was
really tall.The shadow person lean down and started to light a fire.
After a blaze was burning,the person turned around revealing their
face in full view to Serena.She was speechless and limbs went numb
over who it was.
"Allow me to introduce myself...."
