Of my story and I really,really hope you're liking so far.This is rated PG-13 and yeah....I'm kinda out of it today!So I bet you all know that SailorMoon Ain't mine!So Don't sue me or nothing!Okay on wid da show! ANGEL OF MINE(Part 7) BY:JLaLa She stood in front of Serena in a proud,majestic manner.A rare rose among a field of weeds.This woman was indeed the most beautiful woman in all the universe.Her shimmering silver woven hair was in two balls at the top of her hair that flowed down to her ankles.A pair of concerned blue bell eyes stared her and her strawberry lips curved into a friendly smile.Serena continued to examined the woman who watched her and she felt as though the woman knew her.Serena knew who she was looking at.Her majesty Queen Serenity of the Moon Kingdom. They said she was lovely and that was an understatement! "Are you alright?",she asked in concern.Her voice like a melodic song. "I think so",Serena said and rubbed her head."What happened?" "You were attacked and robbed",Serenity explained and Serena gasped. "Don't worry your attackers were caught and arrested".The Queen placed a hand on her shoulder and a familiar sense of deja vu came over them.Both looked up at each other."May I ask,do you always go out at night with a bag of valuables?" "Do you always help girls who are robbed and bring them to your palace?",Serena countered and the queen smiled ruefully.This girl was clever,no doubt! "A question with a question",the Queen said and laughed.They both smiled at each other in understanding."Where are you from?" "Earth",Serena said quietly and her face faded in a sad light.Memories of what was happening came into her mind and she grasped the necklace in her dress as if to wish for everyone's safety. "Your parents sent you here no doubt",Serenity said and remembered what she had done sixteen years ago.She wondered what her child was doing at this very moment and the irony of sending her to Earth struck her.She had sent her own child there to keep her safe and now Earth was in trouble. "Actually I sent myself",Serena answered."They just agreed to let me go" "What's your name?",asked Serenity and the light of the fire bathe her face. "Serena",she said and the Queen gasped.Serena!That was her daughter's name.She looked again at the girl in the bed.Her hair was long and blond.Like hers years ago but what struck her was the similarities between their bright blue eyes.The girl's eyes were absolutely enchanting and they had something in them that was...special. "Is there something wrong your majesty?" Serena fingered her necklace nervously at the pale woman's face.Had she said something wrong? "What is that you're holding?",Serenity asked and Serena pulled out her necklace.Holding to the light it seemed to glow and the Queen put a hand to her mouth to stifle a cry inside her."Where did you get it?" "My parents gave it to me",Serena replied looking at the necklace as she held it up."They're not my real parents though.I was adopted and well I guess the necklace was from my real parents.It's funny you know I wonder why they gave me away and I should be angry.But I'm not,I have this feeling they needed to" "May I hold it?",Serenity said hushed.Serena palced in the woman's palm and a tear fell on it.Looking at the Queen in tears, Serena felt sympathy for the woman. "I'm sorry it's upsetting you",Serena said to her quietly and the woman looked at her with wide eyes. "You've come back to me",Serenity whispered hopeful,looking at the young girl.She placed Serena's hand on the necklace in her hand. "What are you doing?",Serena asked in a scared voice.Suddenly the necklace started to glow brightly.The light seemed to get bigger by the minute and Serena's eyes widen in fear."What's going on?",she yelled when suddenly the light exploded and a glow seemed to be engulfing her body.The sensation was like a cold wind in her and a skew of memories hit her.She rememebered...her childhood...who her mother was...her father who had died at war...why she had been sent to Earth and the light stopped just as it had quickly started. She slowly opened her hardly shut eyes to look at the woman in front of her."Mama?Is that you?" Serenity brought into her arms and held her child tightly.They both crying hysterically and as Serena's head laid on her mother's chest,she smiled happily through her tears. "It's me,darling",she said and rocked her child."I'm sorry I had to send you away but it's worth seeing you alive".She looked down at her child and smiled pushing strands of hair from her face."You're so beautiful" "I take after you,don't I?",she asked and smiled up at her mother. They both laughed and hugged once more. *************************************** A week later... "Tell me about my father",asked Serena.Serenity looked at her daughter who was sitting sweetly on the grass.The two had gone on picnic,one of their many mother-daughter activities.The past week had been of a somewhat dream to Serenity.For the last sixteen years she had long to do these things with her daughter.To just look at her and hear the sound of her little one's voice made her fill with happiness. "I met your father,King Alexander when I was fifteen years old",she said and her voice turned wistful.Her daughter laid on her lap. "Was it love at first sight?",Serena asked and smiled to herself thinking of Darien which part of her falter. "Actually",her mother responded."It was hate at first sight.You see, I was walking in this garden when my mother,Queen Selenity introduces me to your father,Prince Alexander of the Sun.After she leaves us alone he insults me!He tells me that my dress is funny looking!You see I was wearing this really ruffly dress because my mother had made me.I had to agree with him but I didn't like his attitude.I thought he was really arrogant and I told him.So we get into a huge argument and both our mothers come out right when I throw a rock at his head! Serena laughed at her mother's story and looked up at her. "You really did that?",Serena asked."When did you two start to like each other?" "I supposed",she replied and sighed."I always love him except both of us were too hard headed to admit it.Anyhow one day we're both in the gardens again and we both are arguing AGAIN except this time when I reach out to slap his face,he grabs my hand pulls me toward him and...kisses me" "Wow",Serena said dazed at the story."So after that you fell in love" "Yes",She said and smiled to herself."We would sit here for hours and talk about our future together,getting married and having children. Ruling a Kingdom and such.One day I'm in the royal library and he comes in telling me he has to leave.I looked at him and started to cry when he says,"There only one way I can stay".I said"How?"and your father pulled out a ring and placed on the book that was on my lap. "If you marry me",he said and of course as you know I did" "When he died did you ever think you'd love again?",Serena asked quietly and moved face from her mother's view to hide the tears in her eyes. "I don't know but I would always keep my heart open to love",her mother responded and stroke Serena's hair.She looked at her daughter and realized she was crying."What's wrong?" "Nothing...Everything",Serena cried and with that explained her whole story beginning with Darien finding her to what happened her last night on Earth."I was stupid to fall in love knowing something  like that would happen I mean he's a Prince" "Don't say that",her mother scolded lightly."Being in love is something beautiful beyond words.Plus you have forgotten you are a Princess now and to be presented to the royal court and your loyal subjects in three days.Cheer up child,things have a way of getting better" "I'm so afraid",whispered Serena to her mother and looked up."To see all those people.Will they love me? Does he still love me?" "I don't think they have a choice",replied her mother as she stroked Serena's head and leaning down she kissed Serena on the side of her head."After all your father was absolutely charming and you seemed to have inherited a lot of that charm.They won't be able to resist you" Serena smiled in spite of the heaviness of her heart. "Thank you for listening",Serena said and took her mother's hand."I'm happy I've found you" "I wouldn't have it any other way",her mother said to her and squeezed her daughter's hand."Now tell me,when you first met Darien you punched his jaw?Indeed he must have been angry" "Yeah he was",Serena said."But eventually I won him over" "You may have you father's charm",quipped Queen Serenity."But we must never doubt that you have fist!My,my we have the strangest way of getting men!" Both erupted in the fit of laughs. ******************************* Darien sat in darkness outside looking up at what else but the moon. It had been a week since his love had left and he was afraid something happened.However he could feel her,that she was alive.Like her life was pulsating in his veins.What was she doing up there?Tears quietly went down his face and he sat on a bench near him.He leaned down trying to calm himself but he couldn't.It was engulfing him,the pain in his heart.His mother had met different Kingdoms and trying to decide which had the best defense.Matters of the heart didn't seem to play a big part. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME?!!",he yelled in the air."Why can't I get you out of my head?It's not like I want to but I can't take the pain anymore" He threw his hands on the air and got up."Why does it have to be this way?" Angrily he walked up to a tree and began punching it fiercely.The Princesses saw his angry scene and ran up to him trying to stop him but he was strong.Soon he had four Princesses hanging by his arms.Darien's guards soon came hearing all the noise. "Can we get some help here?",yelled Lita who was trying to pull Darien's arm from hitting the tree again and almost rammed into the tree in the process.The guards began to help and soon had him pinned on the ground. "I'm sorry Darien",said Ami and slapped him hard on the face."Get a hold of yourself!" "She's gone",Mina said and sat next to him."We can't do nothing but wait for her". Darien sat dazed but still sadden. "I'm apologize",he said to each of them and nodded."I can't help it, you know? Every where I go there's something to remind me of her.I going crazy without her and I going crazy at the thought of getting married to someone I don't love" "We wish we could help",Raye said."But we don't know how you would want us to help" "Thanks",Darien said and got to walk on his sad journey.His friends watched him sadly and some had tears in their eyes. "It's really hard for him",Zoicite said and put a hand on Ami's shoulder. "Things are getting way out of hand",Jedite said and looked at Raye who eyes burned with concern."We just keep hope and see what happens" ******************************************* The next day.... Queen Gaia sat in her office talking to her advisor Theodore over how the progress of the fight between Earth and The NegaVerse. "Two groups of soldiers went down just morning",he said sadly and looked down.Theodore's son had been one of them to go down first. "We get weaker by the minute" "Yes indeed we are",agreed the Queen when a knock on the door was heard.Behind the door was Darien who looked depressingly horrible. Sitting down he also listened to the report. "Defenses are down in several countries",Theodore continued."The NegaVerse is heading closer" "What are we doing about all the people who are losing their homes" ,asked Darien quietly. "We have set up shelters and hospitals,your majesty",Theodore said and Darien nodded.He exited quickly softly closing the door behind him. "Is there anything you need Darling?",asked the Queen as she looked at another report. "No I just wanted to see how it's going",he said and watched her. "Have you found me a match yet?" "I've narrowed it down to three choices",his mother said. "Must be very entertaining contest",Darien said bitterly and the Queen looked up in worry. "This boy in front of me,who is he? He's so bitter",said his mother sadly and looked at him.Immediately Darien softened and took his mother's hand. "I'm sorry",He said."I keep forgetting how hard it is for you.I just keep on wallowing in self pity" "Darien",she began."If I could I would change it in a second but I can't.This is a life of a monarch" He nodded in understanding and another knock was on the door.A servant appeared and let in the visitor. Darien sneered to see Beryl walk in.Her tall figure wore a tight green dress with a scandoulously low cleavage coverage.The color made her look like she was ill making her skin have a greenish tint to it.She bowed and hope Darien was looking down her dress.He didn't instead turned his head. "Lady Beryl",his Mother said and smiled fakely."What business brings you here?" "I have a proposition for you",Beryl said and sat in chair.Crossing her legs she smiled evily."I want your son" "What makes you think I'll give him to you",Gaia said hard and angry at woman.Beryl's dark eyes glinted with a cryptic light. "Simple",she said."You never knew how much power I had,did you?Well I just happen to control a lot of things.For example The NegaVerse and if you want to keep your rinky dink planet from anymore destruction you'll agree to my terms".Darien stood next to his mother who sat in rage over the woman in front of her.He had to keep calm her in order to keep himself calm."I know it's hard for a mommy to give up her son so I'm giving you a week to decide" Beryl got up and before walking out the door turned to them again.A triamphant smile on her face."By the way say no and after destroying Earth, I'll get the rest of the Planets" With that she left laughing. "Darien start to prepare,we're gojng on a trip",his mother said and got to fix her papers. "Where are we going?",he asked confused. "To the Moon",she said."The royal court is assembling there in two days for an announcement from Queen Serenity.We have to discuss our plans with rest of them" "What do you mean?",he said confused."You mean to tell say you're going actually wage war with her over me?" "My son I have made enough mistakes already I'm not about to make another one",said his mother and kissed his cheek."Now go and notify your Guards and the Princesses" Darien quickly walked out and the Queen sat exhausted in her chair. *********************************** The next day... They had all assembled in the Portal room.A variety of bright holes stood in front in them,each leading to a certain planet. "So we're gonna go in that",Malachite said and pointed to one of the holes.He winced not liking the idea of being sucked into a weird hole. "Yup",Mina said and took his hand."It's so much fun!" "If you went on one of these,how come you guys came to palace in carriages",asked Neflyte. "Simple",Lita said and held out a charm with the Jupiter symbol on it."We were given these by our mothers.These charms are able to form portals anywhere but it takes a lot of practice and energy. That's why we're using this portal,we need to conserve our energy.The carriages just met us where we landed" "Are you all ready?",The Queen asked and all nodded."I'll go first and you follow,okay?" She entered and quickly disappeared into the light.Darien and his Guards followed then the Princesses.As Darien walked him the bright light made him shut his eyes.When he opened them he was surprised to be in front of an snow white castle.*That was quick*,he thought and turned to see his friends shaking their heads.The Princesses stood behind them chattering happily but stopped when they saw someone walking down the steps the led to entrance of the palace.As she walked forward they saw a beautiful woman with two silver balls in her head.They all recgonized her.It was Queen Serenity,Ruler of the Moon.All knelt before her but she scolded lightly. "No need to bow",she said and all stood back up.Serenity ran to Gaia enveloping her in a hug."It's been so long Gaia.I missed you!" "I've missed you too Serenity",she said."I haven't seen you since you got married.Who knew Alex would have married you after you almost gave him an concussion".The Queen smiled sadly at Serenity. "I'm so sorry about what happened" "It's alright",Queen Serenity said."Do not dwell on sadness".She looked over and saw the Princesses."Girls come here and give me a hug!" They all ran up to her and gave her a group hug."I have a surprise",she said to them winking and nodded her head to make them look at stairs.Coming down the stairs were the Queens of Venus,Mercury,Mars,and Jupiter.Queen Marie of Venus had long blond hair that was in a braid,her green eyes were bright and dancing with joy.Queen Anne of Mercury had Lavender blue hair that was in a bun place neatly on the top of her head, her blue grey eyes had an intelligent shine in them and her smile was small but undoubtedly happy.Queen Roberta of Mars had black hair that reach her shoulders,Her brown eyes scan the group for her daughter and she her mouth broke into a beautiful smile as she saw her.Queen Leanna of Jupiter was tallest of all of the group with long brown hair identical to her daughter's that was up in a French twist, Her blue green eyes had a mischevious look in them. "Mother!",all four princesses yelled and ran toward their mothers. A beautiful sight to everyone for there was not a dry eye in sight. "Serenity",Gaia continued with introductions and ushered her toward the four guards."My son's guards Malachite,Jedite,Neflyte,and Zoicite" She smiled at them sweetly and they bowed.Each had a feeling about her like they knew her or a face similar to hers.Gaia then walked to Darien and placed a hand proudly on his broad shoulder."Finally my Son Prince Darien".The Queen smiled looking at the love of daughter's life.He was handsome no doubt but the sadness in his eyes was no doubt heartbreak.Serenity smiled at him motherly.A look of concern in her eyes. "It is honor to meet you,your majesty",Darien said to her cordially as she watched him intently,like she was sizing him up.Her eyes looked almost familiar like he had look at them before. "None of that your majesty stuff",she said and took his arm."You must call me Serenity,Darien" Serenity flashed a smile at him and looked at everyone."Every one must get to sleep for tommorrow is a busy day.I had all your things put into rooms.Now let's hit the sheets and this is a royal order" Everyone laughed and smiled gratefully. "All hail the Queen",yelled Lita and other chorus in thanks.Serenity gave them a big smile and headed to her room.A plan flashing in her mind and she laughed as headed towards her room. ************************************* Serena woke as her mother burst into the room.A servant followed and placed a tray in front of Serena.The Queen refuse to let her eat downstairs for at that very moment the royal court was munching down their food.She had not told anyone about Serena except for a few servants who she knew would not tell. "Rise and shine,Darling!",she said to her daughter and opened her curtains.Sunlight flooded the room and Serena rubbed her eyes.Chewing on her food she watched as Serenity pulled out a dress from her closet. After she ran and told a servant to fill a tub of water for Serena. Breakfast wasn't long enough for Serena for within a few minutes her mother dragged in the tub and scrubbed her hair.After her mother had someone dry her hair and they sat her in front of a vanity table. "What's with all the primping?",she asked and her mother smiled down at her. "Just making everyone know I have the most beautiful daughter in the universe",Serenity responded and went to get the dress.Serena changed into it and looked at herself.She wore a strapless dress that was shimmering silver white with gold rings across her chest.The skirt of the dress went down like waterfall to the the floor.When her hair was dry,her mother fixed them into two buns and let the rest fall gracefully down her back in curls.Serena liked the style and examined herself in the mirror.*Not bad*,she thought to herself.The servant then came in with a wooden box,after placing it on the table,she left. "One more thing to complete you" Serenity opened the box and inside was a small tiara bedeckoned with small jewels.It was similar to Queen Serenity's.Serena looked enchanted as her mother placed it gently on her head.Tears ran down her mother's eyes."I waited so long to do this" As both looked into the mirror they were amazed.Serena felt as though she was looking at someone completely different.Her mother sense her thoughts."You may look different but you will always be the same Serena inside" Her mother kissed her cheek and made Serena stand up.Making Serena turn around so she could give a once over and sighed contentedly."Come your public awaits" ************************************* Darien stood stiffly as he awaited the arrival of Queen Serenity.His mother was with the other Queens opposite him and his guards.They were assembled next to a grand stairway and he was reminded of another time he stood waiting like this.Except this time the magnificent young lady he loved wouldn't be walking down.The Princesses were next to their mothers dressed in their best clothing all looking beautiful as usual. Darien was trying to ignore the fact that his friends were either winking or blowing kisses to their lady loves.The whole kingdom had came for the event anticipating the Queen's news.No one had a clue about what the queen would say.Even the Queens who were all whispering at that very moment about what Serenity had to tell them.A trumpet sounded announcing the arrival of their queen and the huge doorway at the top of the stairs opened. "Her Royal Highness Queen Serenity",yelled a man and everyone stood quietly as Serenity entered.Her majesty walked gracefully down in her pure white dress made of silk.Smiling at everyone she stood before them,her bright aura radiating off them.The crowd admired her beauty and stood hushed as she spoke. "I know you all are wondering what I'm going to say",she said and laughed looking at everyone on pin and needles.She took a breath and tried to hold a big smile in."I have brought you all hear to tell you of my plan to help earth".She stopped practically hearing the disappointment on her people's face."Now as I was saying",she stopped when she saw a servant give her the signal. "Wait a minute-here's comes my plan now".The crowd looked at each other confused at the Queen's words.The door opened again and all eyes focused on it. "Her Royal Highness Princess Serenity",yelled the man again with a quiver in his voice.Down walked a girl whose lithe movements and angelic features captivated everyone.She made her way down confident though inside she was going crazy with fear.Her enchanting blue eyes radiated something immaculate in her,a power to magnetize everyone her. She lit the room up and when she reach the bottom of the stairs,the millions of subjects standing in awe all knelt before her.Her face twisted in a panic expression and she ran into the crowd. "No please do not kneel before me",she said in light pretty voice. Serena smiled at everyone."I just ask that you call me Serena to save the confusion about my mother's name and mine.I don't know what kind of Princess but I hope that I will please you" "Long Live Princess Serena!",the crowd yelled and cheered.Serena turned around looking at the royal court.She walked slowly smiling at all of the Queens,she stopped long enough to squeeze Gaia's hand.After she walked over to the Princesses and all of them gathered in group hug.Each was crying out of happiness. "Serena,you've come back to us",Raye said and hugged her friend while tears dropped on Serena's dress. "We have missed you",said Lita and wiped her tears away."Now you've gone and blown us away doing something like this" "I knew that there was something special about you",Mina told her and looked in admiration."Long before Raye said that aura stuff" Ami looked at Serena as she approached her.The two communicated silently when Ami finally broke silence. "Welcome Back...Moon Princess",she said quietly and threw her arms around Serena again.After their embrace Serena walked to the guards throwing her long arms around all of them.Crying she managed to tell them she missed them. "So you've gone and become a Princess",Jedite said to her. "Who would have thought?",Malachite said and smiled happily. "Well do you have a problem with the fact that I am a Princess?",asked Serena in mock anger but flashed them a radiant smile."I'm still same ol'Serena no matter what" "You just keep on getting gorgeous,don't you?",said Neflyte and wrapped her into a brotherly embrace."If I wasn't with Lita,I would grabbed you up" "Yes",she said and smiled."I hear of your engagement".She looked around and smiled."In fact I hear about ALL of your engagements.Rest assure I will be in all of your weddings!" They laughed and heartily agreed. "Don't worry Serena",Zoicite said and smiled down at her glowing face. "Before you know Princes from all over will want you" "Actually",she said quietly and walked to Darien who stood speechless. They stood face to face each focused on the other."There's only one prince I want,he stands before me obviously in shock" She smiled at him lovingly. "Princess Serenity?",was all he could say. "Well I guess that what Serena was short for",she said and put her hand to his cheek.Kissing her hand he pulled her towards her and kissed her forehead.She closed her eyes trapped in a moment of rapture. "Serena,have I told you how much I love you?",Darien asked as he held her. "No,you've been standing there like a goofball for minutes",she said jokingly and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I love you",he whispered as his deep blue eyes looked at her. Her heart was beating like crazy and he lowered his lips to hers in a spellbinding kiss that captivated them.Both oblivious to the fact that millions no maybe billions were watching.The crowd cheered happy to see a royal couple so happy,so obviously in love.Serenity and Gaia both watched,arms crossed with pleased smiled on their faces. "About that plan...",Serenity whispered in her ear.Gaia looked at the couple who still haven't stopped kissing and she smiled at Serenity slyly.
