Chapter Four

Serena took a deep breath. Her legs
were killing her. She had walked around the
lake at least five times and Hanol still wasn't
there! She had been thinking and wanted to
get this all over with. Then, Hanol appeared
in front of her. Serena gasped.

"So, I guess I didn't need a victim after all.
You were already here. Prepare to die,
Serena." Serena glared at her.

"Don't hold your breath." She took hold of
her broach. "Moon Cosmic POWER!" and she
transformed into Sailor Moon. Hanol looked
upset and then sighed.

"Oh well, here we go again." Then she looked
around. "No sailor pals with you? This could
be my lucky day." Serena looked down.

"I told them not to come." She said.

"I guess I spoke too soon." Said Hanol. Serena
was confused.

"What?" she turned around to see her friends
standing there. She got a little worried and
mad. "You guys! Why did you..." she was
cut off.

"Serena, LOOK OUT!" cried Mina.

"What?" she was about to turn but Hanol
grabbed a hold of her and pulled her away
from the group. She grabbed a knife from her
boot and brought it to Serena's neck.

"Make one move, and the chick dies." The
scouts looked helplessly at Serena. Hanol
grabbed Serena's broach and ripped it from
her. She transformed back into her normal
clothes. Hanol threw it on the ground beside
her. "Now the fun begins!" she said. mockingly.  She placed the knife back in her
boot and placed a hand over Serena's chest.
Serena knew she had to do something. She
reached up and grabbed the amulet Hanol
had around her neck.  She then threw it to
Darien,
"Darien, CATCH!" he caught it and held it in
his hands. Hanol got mad.

"Oh! For that you'll die!" cried Hanol on
anger.

"NO! STOP!" cried Darien. There was nothing
they could do but plead. If they attacked
Serena would be hit too. There was nothing
that they could do. Hanol smirked. A white
light glowed from Hanol's hand. Serena
screamed in pain. He fell to his knees and he
watched them.  All Darien could do was
watch in helpless horror as Hanol practically
killed her. He placed his hands over his ears.
Her screams were torture to him. Hanol
suddenly stopped and looked at her hand in
confusion. Serena stopped screaming and
was now breathing hard. The scouts were
confused. Why did she stop? Hanol looked at
Serena and then at the scouts.

"We will meet again." And she disappeared
with Serena still in her arms.

"NO! SERENA!" yelled Darien. He placed his
head in his hands and bent down in sorrow.

In his hands he still head the amulet.  They
were gone. To where, the scouts did not
know. Millions of questions and thought
screamed through their heads. But the
biggest one that they wanted answered was.

"What do we do now?"

Hanol and Serena arrived in another
dimension. Hanol threw Serena to the
ground. Serena looked up and saw that there
was barely anything in the room that they
were in. There was a stone platform and a
small pool of crystal glass.
"Where am I?" asked Serena.

"In a place in which I only knew about, until
now. This is where I spend most of my time."

"In this pitch blackness? It's like there is no
walls!"

"Oh, but there is. There is a door too. But you
can't see it. It's covered in black. I made it this
way so if someone found their way in, they
couldn't find their way out." Serena looked
surprised.

"So I have to be here FOREVER!?!" she yelled.
Hanol smiled.

"No, I'll kill you before that happens." She
said. Serena stood up, and went over to the
pool of crystal. She looked in it but it was
totally black. She touched it. It was very
smooth to the touch. Suddenly an image
appeared. There was Darien and the scouts
all at Raye's temple with worried looks. She
heard what they were saying.

"What are we going to do!?!"

"We don't know where she is!"

"How are we going to get her back!?!"

"How are we supposed to get Hanol to come
here?"

"Where did they go!?!" All were asking
worried questions. Serena looked at Darien.
She gently touched his face. A smiled
appeared on his lips and he touched his face
exactly where she had touched him.  She
touched her friends' faces and they did what

Darien did. Serena was astounded. They
could actually feel her presence!?!

"Amazing, huh? She heard Hanol say. Serena
turned around and saw Hanol standing there.
Had she been there the whole time?

"Yeah, it's really cool. As soon as I touched it,
it showed me what I wanted to see."

"That's how I saw you, your friends, and your
boyfriend." Serena looked a little nervous.
"How did you get such a great guy?"

"What?"

"Your boyfriend. He risks his life for you a lot,
it looks like he cares for you, how did a ditz
like you get a great guy like that?" Serena
smiled. Either it was because she called her a
ditz when she barely knew her or she was
asking about Darien, making normal
conversation as if it was any old day, she
didn't know, but she did smile.

"Well... we fell in love 1000 years ago. We
were reincarnated because we were killed in
a terrible battle and my mother wanted me to
live my life. Back then I was more
sophisticated and graceful, 'cause I was a
princess, but now I'm not. We met, here, in
this time, and fell in love. I don't know if he
loves me because of what I was or who I am,
but I don't really care. Deep down I am the
same person to him. I love him for that."
Hanol felt strange. What was this feeling?
This person had so much passion in her that
Hanol actually admired her. Too bad she
would have to kill her.

"Well... that's really something." She grabbed
Serena's arm, pulled her to the platform, and
slammed her down on it. Serena cried out in
pain. Metal clasps went around her wrists
and her ankles. "Too bad your mother
wasted her time reincarnating you. 'Cause it
looks like your not going to live your life."
She walked over to the crystal pool. She must
have done something because the scouts
looked back at the image. "Listen to me. I
have your princess. She will die if in the next
twenty-four hours you come to the park with
the amulet. If you give the amulet to me, I'll
let her go, if not..." she made a slicing sound
and drew her finger across her throat, "...The
girl dies. I'll be waiting." And then the Image
in the glass disappeared. Hanol turned
around and walked over to Serena. "We'll see
if your prince will come and save you. Either
way, you'll all die."

Oooooo.... A cliffhanger. Don't worry I
will write chapter five ASAP! Peace out!
