Please send ANY comments to me! All are appreciated! Thanks and enjoy! A Heart Worth Taking:  Prologue A woman stood before a pool of crystal. She summoned up an image. She smiled to herself. She was Hanol, the great and powerful ruler of the Dark Galaxy. Her long black hair reached the floor and was tied back. Her green eyes sparkled as she looked upon her globe. There was an image of two young people sitting on a bench. The girl had long blonde hair tied up in ponytails with buns on top. A handsome young man with midnight hair and ocean blue eyes sat next to her smiling. Hanol wasn't interested in the girl. Only the young man that sat beside her was of her interest. Hanol had a plan. She was going to take over earth by stealing people's hearts. Not their actual heart but the part of the heart that stores the goodness and the love and many other things. Once that was taken, they were practically non-existent. She would take that and acquire awesome power. But even if she took all the world's hearts she wouldn't acquire the power she needed. There was one person that if she stole their heart; she would acquire all that she needed. She needed to find that one person. But right now, her eyes rested upon the handsome young man. She needed someone to rule by her side once she became the queen of it all, why not him? She would have to get rid of that girl he was with, but no matter, she would steal her heart. Then he would be all hers. A Heart Worth Taking: Chapter One Darien smiled as he watched Serena. She was eating her ice cream and was talking to him. He thought that she looked so cute like that. He would never admit it, but he didn't think he was worthy enough to be with her. She had such a kind heart and soul. "Darien." She asked. "Hmmm?" "The enemy hasn't attacked for a while, do you think they've stopped or just waiting?" He shook his head. "The nega-verse is so stupid. I think they will, soon." She smiled. He took her hand as he walked her home. Luckily her dad wasn't there, so he had nothing to worry about. She gently rested her head on his shoulder. Whenever she was with him, she felt safe. So practically nothing scared her. (Except thunderstorms.) Raye watched them leave and shook her head as she smiled. They were always together, practically joined at the hip, for the past few days. She was happy for them. Her old feelings for Darien had left a long time ago. At first it was hard, but then Chad came. She had a crush on him, but couldn't admit it to him. She would tell the girls Serena would be late again. They all would know why, but Raye would still be angry with her. Raye only did it for her own good. Even with all of her yelling, Serena still almost always showed up late. She walked into her room to find all of her friends there besides Serena. "Hey, guys, guess what..." The park was still for it was about dinnertime. Suddenly there was a swirling tornado in the middle a pathway. No one saw it because no one was there. Then appeared Hanol from the tornado. She held a knife in her hand. When she saw no one was there she put it in her leather boots. She had a matching leather mini-skirt and a white halter-top on. Her long, flowing black hair was tied back with a sharp clip for her to use if necessary. She smiled to herself. Yes this place was perfect. Now she just had to wait for her next victim to come along. Serena still had her head on Darien's shoulder as they arrived at her door. "I guess this is good-bye. Why is it that I can't stand saying good-bye to you?" He smiled. "I'll always be here for you, Serena, always." She smiled. HE leaned forward their lips were so close that they almost touched and then... "BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!" Serena sighed as she opened her communicator. "YES!" she said angrily. It was Venus. "Serena, get down here now. We have a new enemy. You to, Darien." "Where exactly is 'here'?" "At the park, hurry!" she nodded and closed her communicator. "Moon Cosmic Power!" she transformed in a brilliant flash of colors and lights. In a few seconds, there stood the Champion of justice and a black man in a tuxedo were a young couple stood before. "Let's go!" she shouted to him and they ran to the park. The scouts were there, but they weren't doing anything, just standing there. She saw a woman in a skimpy outfit holding a girl, hostage in her arms. "Let her go!" shouted Serena. The woman turned to her and smirked. "And who are you? Wonder Woman?" she asked. "I am Sailor Moon! Champion of love and justice! In the name of the moon, your punished!" the woman laughed. "Whatever, Prima Donna. You must know, though, I am Hanol, Queen of the dark galaxy. We will meet again." She took her hand and placed it were the girls heart was. A brilliant light flashed. The girl screamed in pain and then stopped. Hanol dropped her to the ground and held out a bright ball of light. She took out an amulet and placed it in there. Then put it around her neck. "Bye!" she called out in a mocking way and disappeared. The scouts looked dazed. What did she just do? They all transformed back to normal and ran to the girl. Her eyes were un -normal. They were all one solid color. (A.N. All right your probably thinking 'what is she talking about?' Well, remember when Prince Diamond took Serena and he used his evil eye on her? And when she was under the trance her eyes turned one solid color? Well, that's what happens when your 'heart' is stolen. Just to let you know so you don't get confused!) "Come on, you guys! We got to get her to a hospital!" cried Serena. They all rushed her to the hospital. The doctors didn't know what to do. She was there but not responding, like she didn't want to live. Like nothing was left to live for. The scouts were worried. This new enemy was difficult. They didn't understand it. What were they to do? Hanol looked through her pool of crystal. She smiled as she looked at the handsome young man that she was looking at before. She smiled at him. His arms rested gently around that small blonde whose eyes were filled with worry. Hanol was perfectly content. That girl would be her next target. Darien knew he shouldn't interrupt her thought; she was really worried about their new enemy. Before she would worry, but never this much. "Come on, Serena." She looked up at him. He held her chin in his hand. "Don't worry so much. Today is supposed to fun. We'll figure our new enemy out later, K?" She smiled and nodded.  They walked along the path, Serena resting her head against Darien's shoulder. Suddenly, a cloud of black formed and started swirling around. There appeared Hanol. Serena gasped and Darien jumped in front of her. Hanol smiled. "Hello, handsome. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Hanol, Queen of the Dark Galaxy. I'm sorry, but I need your girlfriend for a moment." "Never! You stay away from her!" Darien knew exactly what she was going to do to Serena. He saw how much in pain the girl she attacked last night was, he couldn't bear to see Serena end up like that. Hanol sighed. "Oh well, I guess I have to do this the hard way." She put out her hand in front of her and pointed it in Darien's direction. Suddenly he felt a feeling come over him. He couldn't move! "I can't move! Run, Serena! RUN!" he called out to her. "No, Darien, I'm not leaving you!" she cried. Then Hanol pointed her hand at Serena. Serena felt her lose control of her body. It almost floated over to Hanol.  She couldn't stop it! As soon as she reached her, Hanol grabbed Serena. She could move again. Serena started to struggle. Hanol had an arm around Serena's waist and neck.  "Leave her alone!" cried Darien, for it was the only thing he could do. Hanol looked and smiled at him. "She's worth that much to you?" she asked Darien.  Then she looked at Serena. " In that case, I'll just take your heart here. I want your boyfriend to see you go." And she laughed. Hanol put her hand over Serena's heart and then... "Mars Celestial Fire Surround!" Hanol gasped and threw Serena to the ground. Darien could move again. He transformed into Tuxedo Mask. "Moon Cosmic Power!" She cried She transformed into Sailor Moon in front of Hanol. She had to help her friends. "So your that little Brat!" said Hanol. "Why should I bother now? Don't worry, Sailor Moon, I'll be coming back for you, soon." She laughed and disappeared. Everyone ran up to Serena to see if she was okay. "Oh my god! Serena! Are you okay!?!" they asked. "I'm fine, guys. Really. It's really good that you guys came." Darien looked a little sad. They all transformed back to normal. Darien took Serena's hand. "Can I talk to you, alone?" he asked. She nodded. They walked away from the girls and sat down on a bench. "I need to tell you something." "What?" "When we were attacked, I was so afraid for you.  I tried to save you, but couldn't. I'm supposed to protect you, and I failed you." "You didn't fail, Darien." "Yes I did." "No, you didn't." he looked at her. "Darien, you tried your hardest to save me, that's all that matters. By risking your life to protect me, Darien, that's more than I could ever want! " " I know, but I feel that when I don't protect you, a part of me hurts. Yeah, I tried. But if the scouts didn't come, you could... you could be..." he couldn't even finish what he wanted to say. "I know, Darien." She put her arms around him in a hug. "I know." He gently took her hands and placed them in his. He leaned forward and gently kissed her. She returned the kissed by placing her hands on his chest and then slowly moved it up to his neck. When he pulled away. He looked into her eyes and placed his forehead to hers. "I don't know what I would do without you, Serena. " "Me neither." " I will always protest you at any costs. I swear it." She smiled at his words. "We will always be together." And with that he wrapped his arms around her as they turned to watch the sunset. Hanol was pacing in the dimension right by her crystal pool. There she saw that girl and that guy watching the sunset. "That girl is Sailor Moon. I need to get her. But how?" she continued to pace. She then stopped suddenly. "I know! The next time I steal a heart, she'll be there. I'll get her then. Sailor Moon, prepare. The next battle will be your last."
