        )** Darien Chiba **(

It was the oddest dream I had ever had. I was dressed in rather extravagant
armour, and I was looking up to a balcony, where the most beautiful girl I
had ever seen was standing there. She had hair spun of gold, eyes that
glittered like the sea, and skin to colour of moon beams. She called out to
me and I climbed up the trelace.
"Darien," She said to me, her voice was like a summer's breeze, "Kiss me,
Please." I climbed over the balcony railing and took her hands in mine. Then
I pulled her close . . .
" . . . And today it's supposed to be 79 degrees (F.) with a 75 percent
chance of rain!" I rolled over and through my blurred vision looked at the
clock. I let a growl escape my throat.
"WHY!" I screamed out. I just wanted to finish that dream. It was the
perfect dream. I rolled over and fell out of bed, and ended up getting
tangled in the sheets. I fumbled to the shower, and looked at the clock
again. I was early, for once. Shaking my head I turned on the shower.

)** Serena Tsukino **(

I groaned as I looked at the clock, "Iiieee!!" I was late. On my stupid
last day of school, I was late. I rushed into my stupid school uniform. And
let me tell you: It is the UGLIEST thing I have ever seen. I hate it, it's
just plain ugly. And sooooo unfasionable. But none the less, I had to wear
it. So I forced myself into the stupid thing and put on a fake smile as I
did my hair in it's normal buns and pigtails style. Then rushed out the
door.
No later then I had closed the door, then it began to down pour.
*Grrrrreat. No time to go back and get an umbrela.* I moaned slightly to
myself, then rushed down the sidewalk. Being late sucks, Dear readers, never
be late. It's not fun.
Then to top it all off There was a skateboarder coming down the side walk.
Now, apperently this was a stupid skateboarder for two reasons: 1) It was
raining, and he was skateboarding. 2) He ran into me. I was lucky enough to
jump out of his way. Unfortuanatly he grazed my leg and I triped and fell
backwards. I braced myself for the impact of me on cold, hard, wet, STUPID
pavement, but ended up in soft, strong, arms.
I tilted my head back slightly to look into a wonderful face. His hair was
the colour of midnight, and his eyes were two blue-grey stars that showed
slight worry and even confusion. I saw him turn his head and yell at the
stupid skateboarder. I pushed myself up. And looked over the clothes that
were now plastered to my body, not to mention the fact that my shirt was
WHITE! I groaned slightly.
"And today was supposed to be a good day . . ." I muttered under my breath.
I turned back to the man who had caught me. He was looking at me a little
strangely.
"Are you alright, Miss?" He asked politely. I nodded.
"Yeah. I'm fine. Now if I sprained my ankle I wouldn't have to go to
school." I picked up my bag and turned to him again, "Thanks alot. I'm sorry
to rush out on you like this, but uhhhhhhh- Oh Nooooo!!" I heard the bell of
my school ring, "I'm late. Bye." I waved slightly to the man and ran at top
speed into the school building.

)** Darien Chiba **(

I hate rain. That is that: I hate rain. I think it is beautiful . . . when
you're not getting soaked by it. But all in all I hate rain. Although now I
have a new reason to LOVE rain, and skateboarders.
My mind was still on the dream I had. I glanced up just in time to see an
apperently stupid skateboarder nearly run into some poor unexpecting girl.
She stumbled back and began to fall. I rushed forward and caught her. She
tilted her head back and looked at me.
I nearly dropped her out of suprise, it was the girl from my dream. With
beautiful golden hair, sea-blue eyes, and her sweet, gentle, pink lips. . .
*Dear me.* Was all I could think. She fit perfectly into my arms. It was
like she was the missing peice of my puzzle. I then turned to yell at the
stupid skateboarder. The girl pushed herself up and looked over herself. She
was soaked to the bone, and not to mention the fact that her shirt was
white. I blushed slightly.
"And today was supposed to be a good day . . ." I heard her grumble. She
turned to look at me. I was still bewildered that the girl from my dream was
standing infront of me.
"Are you alright, Miss?" I asked her gently and politely. She nodded.
"Yeah. I'm fine. Now if I sprained my ancle I wouldn't have to go to
school." She bent down to pick up her bag. Then turned back to me, "Thanks
alot. I'm sorry to rush out on you like this but Uhhhhhhhhhhh- Oh
Noooooooo!!" I heard a school bell ring, "I'm late. Bye." She turned around
and waved at me slightly then rushed into the school building.
I opened my arms and twirled around in the rain. That was absolutly
perfect.

)** Serena Tsukino **(

For some reason I couldn't stop thinking about the man who had caught me
earlier. He was extrodanarily handsome. And he had to be nice, I mean after
all he actually made an effort to catch me... I bit my lower lip, which is a
way of scolding myself when I'm not paying attention. Although now it's
become a regular habbit, when I'm scared, or nervous, or curious, or
excited, or just about every emotion you can think of.
I glanced at the clock and relized I only had about five minutes left.
*Good,* I thought, *Then I have roughly two and a half months to do
absolutely NOTHING!* After another few minutes of struggling to keep my self
from going insane, the bell rang. I heard a number of.
'WHOOOHOOOOOO!!'s and HORRAY!!'s I mearly sighed and got up, a little
slowly.
"Tisk. Tisk. I would think you, Serena, of all people would be the first
person out of the school building," I heard from behind me. I turned to find
my best friend Ami standing there. Ami is very pretty, She has short blue
hair and green-blue eyes. She is also one of the smartest people in the
school. Always first on the honor role, with a four point oh. But I was
always second though, with a 3.999 (And the nines keep going).
I blushed slightly as I stepped out into the mist (Instead of a down pour),
"I just keep thinking about this guy I met today." Ami nearly squeeled at
that remark, but controled her self.
"Oh, Do tell." She pleaded.
"I don't know . . . It's kind of embarrasing," I said blushing again.
"Spill it, Girly," She laughed out.
"Alright, Alright. So I was late this morning, and It was down pouring. I
was running and then this crazy skateboarder wasn't even watching where he
was going and grazed my leg." I said motioning to the now rather dark
bruise, "I triped and fell, but this guy caught me. Oh, Ami, He was sooooo
cute. And really nice. And really cute." I said giggling after awhile.
Ami and I started walking toward the crown arcade, kina like a local hang
out. We talked about the mysterious 'Guy'. That was now his nick name, Guy.
I actually felt sorry for him.
We were glad when we stepped into the arcade, because it started to down
pour again. This just wasn't my day, was it? I saw Andrew talking to
someone.
"Hey, Andrew." I said gliding up next to him.
"Hey, Sugar," (AN: It's just a nick name, do not worry, all ye Darien and
Serena fans out there. it's just a nickname.) He said to me, "Have you met
Darien?" I turned to look at the guy Andrew had been talking to, and Yes, I
gasped. It had been the guy who caught me earlier.
"It's you!" We both said at the same time. I started to giggle.
"Hello," I smiled. Ami came up to me.
"Is this him?" She asked. I nodded. "Oh. Hi. I'm Ami." Ami smiled and
Darien nodded.
"I'm Darien. It's nice to meet you, Ami." He smiled, being perfectly
polite. Then he turned to me, "I didn't quite catch your name, last time we
met."
"It's Serena," I smiled nervously. Why I was nervous, I had no clue to. But
I was.
"So are you okay from your fall earlier?" He asked. I hid my bruised leg
behind me.
"I'm fine." I said calmly. Ami rolled her eyes.
"She has a huge bruise on her leg," Ami said calmly.
Darien took a step forward, "Does it hurt?"
"No." I lied. He gave me a look that said 'Why are you lying? It's
pointless.' "Only when I put weight on it." I shrugged. And he gave me a
serious look. "Don't give me that look. It's not nice." Darien chuckled
slightly, and smiled.
"So, Serena," Andrew said, "I was telling Darien about you."
"Okay, What has Satan here been telling you about me?" I asked Darien.
"Just, Things . . ." He said drifting off. I raised an eyebrow at him.
Suddenly I heard I high pitched screech from the doorway.
"SERENA!!!" I turned in enough time to see a pink-haired, wide-eyed little
girl jump into my arms. I smiled and positioned her on my right hip.
"Hey, Rini. What are you doing here?" I asked the sweet little girl. She
smiled.
"Nothing. Who's that?" She pointed to Darien.
"Rini, This is Darien. Darien, This is Rini. She's my little sister."
Darien smiled at the little girl and she shyly burried her head in my
shoulder.
"He's Really cute," Rini whispered into my ear.
"Yeah, He is," I said back. Darien looked at us strangly and we both put on
our best innocent looks. He appearently wasn't convinced.
"So, Rini, how old are you?" Darien asked the little girl.
Rini raised her head proudly, "Five and a half!" Darien smiled.
"She's so cute," He said to me.
"I know. She gets it from me." I smiled and Darien shook his head.
"Really, Meatball Head?" He laughed at me. I was stunned. No one had ever
commented on my hair style before. Why was fate making somebody do it now?
"I like my hair style, thank you very much." I said sticking my nose
slightly in the air. Rini mimicked me. And I giggled. "Or," I said turning
back to Darien, "Do you just have this emmensly desperate need for my
attention?" Darien was rendered speechless.
"I certianly don't think so, Meatball Head." He said after awhile
I shrugged, "Call me whatever you like. I certianly don't care. And I
certianly don't need the attention from you, Satan Spawn." I said calmly.
All through this Ami and Andrew and Rini had said nothing, but had become
mystified by something. I really wasn't quite sure.
"I don't wanna get into a name calling fight with you, Meatball Head." He
snapped.
"And I think you sould go-" I stopped relizing I had Rini right next to me,
"-you are lucky this time, Satan. But I'll be back. So keep your wits about
you." I turned on my heel and left. Ami quickly followed. The rain had
turned into a drizzle and I walked home.
"That was rather rude," She said to me. I turned to her.
"He started it," was my reply, "He shouldn't have called me Meatball head!
I like my hair style, thank you very much!" I finally put Rini down and took
her hand. She looked up and squeeled as a rain-drop got in her eyes. I wiped
away her tears.

)** Darien Chiba **(

There she went. The most confusing girl I had ever known. And yet. . . The
most intriguing. All the while Ami, Rini, and Andrew had stared at us
bewildered by something. What it was, I didn't know. But I was about to find
out.
"Andrew, What were you staring at?" I asked him. Andrew gave me an even
more bewildering look, and I raised an eyebrow.
"You mean, you didn't notice?" Andrew asked me. I shook my head.
"You and Serena were inches apart. Or should I say 'inch'." I looked at him
strangly. "You looked like you were about to kiss her right there." I took a
step back. Kissing her was merely a dream, but for it to become a reality
would be wonderous.
"Why would I ever want to kiss a stupid, little, stuck-up, Meatball Head?"
I asked defensively. Andrew shook his head and shrugged.
"Well, you two seem to be hitting it off just great," He replied
sarcasticaly, rolling his eyes.
"I'm going home," I grabbed the keys to my car (AN: A 2001 Mazzda Miata
convertable <Can you guess what colour? CORECTOMUNDO!!! Silver.>) And went
home. Angery at Andrew, Angery at Meatball Head, Angery at fate, But most of
all Angery at my self.

)** Serena Tsukino **(

I rolled over and looked at the clock. Grrrrrreat, the one day I wake up
early and it's NOT a school day. Forget it. I walked down stairs to find My
mother and My father with some luggage.
"Let me guess? Emergancy Business Trip?" I asked slightly groggy.
"Yes, dear. Now we've left money for groceries -And I like to see the
recipts when I get home-, Money so you guys can order out, and extra
spending cash for you. Because you're going to take care of Rini while were
gone." My mother said.
"And just how long will you guys be gone?" I asked, slightly annoyed.
"A week or two," My father replied. I sighed and rolled my eyes.
"Grrreat. Can I at least have my friends over every now and then?" I asked,
exasperatly.
"Ami- Of course. I'm not to sure about Mina, Lita, and Rei. . ." My father
said. My mother punched him in the ribs playfully.
"Of course, Honey. Now we've got to catch our flight, Bye!" And my parents
rushed out the door. I sighed and trudged up stairs. Finally relizing that I
couldn't fall back asleep, I took a shower. I sighed slightly. The next
three weeks were going to be long. Yes, I know my parents said a week or
two, but that usually ment three or four. And if longer, they'd send word
and more money in the mail. Life sucks.

)** Darien Chiba **(

I had the dream again, and I still didn't finish it. Although, this time
our lips were only a few millimeters apart. Millimeters I would've closed if
I had been in control of the dream. I shook it off, and rolled over onto my
stomach.
I woke up a little late, not suprising, although it was nice because today
was a day I had off from work. I walked to the kitchen, and started
breakfast. Why I made breakfast for one, I had no idea. I shrugged it off
and decided what I should do with my day off.
I looked out the window. A perfect day. I hate it when the weather is
wacky. Yesterday it was amazing if  it wasn't raning for a second, and now
an almost perfect day.  I hate it when the weather is wacky.  But in the end
it WAS a perfect day for the beach. . .
I made up my mind to go to the beach. Today was too perfect to waste.

)** Serena Tsukino **(

"Well, how does that sound?" I said to an over excited Rini on my lap.
"YAAAAA!! The beach!!" She giggled jumping off my lap and getting her
swinsuite. I smiled at my little sister and walked upstairs to grab mine. I
couldn't find my one peice and ended up groaning as I had to go to my
back-up bikinni. Yes I know it seems odd that my back-up is a bikinni and
not my one peice. But I had bought it as my first one and then relized I
looked rather... Uh, It was a touch revealing, so I had bought a dark red
one-peice and ended up using that as my first. Go figure.
I sighed as I put my jeans over it and slipped my pink baby-tee on. I
picked up the phone and dialed Ami's number. "Anderson residence, May I help
you?" I heard Ami's voice.
"Hey, Aimes, You wanna go to the beach with Rini and I?" I asked her.
"Sure. I'll be over in a few minutes," She replied.
"Okay, bye," I said.
"Bye," And we hung up the phone. Rini jumped into my lap in her pink with
white poka-dots bathing suite (AN:You know the little pink and white
poka-dotted bathing suite with the little white 'ruffled' skirt. Every girl
had one when they were little).
"Aren't I adorable?" She smiled. I picked her up and hoisted her on my hip.
"Yes, you are. hey, Ami's gonna come with us, Okay?"
"YAAAAAAA!! Ami!!" Rini giggled. I set her down and the doorbell rang.
"Hey, Ami, " I said opening the door. She stepped inside as Rini ran up to
her.
"Hey, Serena. Hi, Rini," She said picking Rini up and hoisting her on her
left hip.
"Let's go!!" Rini demanded. I smiled and grabbed some money and locked up
the house. It was a reasonably short walk to the beach. The three of us got
there within twenty minutes. Rini hopped off my back and immidiatly began to
play in the sand. I grabbed her and took off her clothes and she resumed
playing in the sand. I smiled as she began to make a sand castle.
Ami peeled off her clothes to reveal a dark blue bathing suite. She went
and talked to Rini. I shrugged and took off my baby-tee and then peeled off
my jeans.
(AN: Okay this is going to swich so frequently between charachters that I'll
put the people in parentheses. Okay don't worry you'll catch on.)

(Darien)
I raised my head up a bit and turned when I heard the voice of Ami. I saw
her with Serena's little sister, Rini. And that's when I saw her: Serena in
a pink bikinni. *Damn. She looks sooooo good. Now I wanna kick myself. It
figures. You tease one girl and find out that she looks like THAT!* I
growled to myself in my mind.
She smiled and picked up Rini. Rini squeeled with delight. I smiled at how
cute the pair was. Rini and Serena went together like they were made for
each other. Ami looked over and her eyes widened. She noticed me.

(Serena)
Ami turned to me and whispered to me, "Darien is right behind you. You
know, Satan." My body stiffened. I said nothing, and pretended that he
wasn't there. I picked Rini up.
"C'mon girly, let's go swiming," and the two of us ran out into the water,
but not before I took out my hair. I dunked Rini under a little and she
splashed me when she came up. I got her back. This went on for a little
while.

(Darien)
*Hmmmmmmm, I really ought to apologize to her. . . And soon, or I'm gonna
go insane,* I thought as I watched Rini, Ami, and Serena playing in the
water. I ached to be part of that group. I could just imagine taking Serena
in my arms and... my eyes flashed open as a pink ball came flying at me
screaming, "DARIEN!!" It was Rini. She flopped into my lap.
"Uh, Hey, Rini," I said smilling at the little girl, "I didn't know you
were here." I saw Ami give me a skeptical look as she and Serena came up to
get Rini. Serena had her hair down. I almost lost it, but I controled
myself. I smiled at Serena.
"Hey, MeeeeeeeeeSerena." I stopped myself.
"Good boy, Darien. You're smarter then I thought," She said rolling her
eyes. I sighed, there was only one way to do this, wasn't there?
"Listen, Serena, I'm sorry about calling you meatball head," I said shyly.
She looked at me and raised an eyebrow.
"Promise you won't do it again?" She asked me.
"Oooooh. That's hard." She gave me a look, "But for you, anything." She
smiled at this. A look I decided I liked, alot.
"Thanks, Darien. And I promise to stop calling you Satan. Although if Hell
starts taking applications I would apply, immeadiatly, if I were you," She
giggled out at me.
I raised an eyebrow at her, "So what are you guys doing after the beach?" I
asked them.
"Heading home so Rini can take a bath and a nap," Serena replied and Rini
began to whine. I smiled and patted the little girl on the head.
"It'll be okay, Rini," She smiled up at me. I smiled back.
"Mom and Dad are on a business trip for the next few weeks. I'm not quite
sure how long. Last time it was a month; before that it was three and a half
weeks." Serena shrugged and sighed.
"Do you spend alot of time with your family?" I asked her.
"No. My parents are always off some where. They don't do much with us.
They're always too busy. They actually missed me being Juliet in Romeo and
Juliet, because they decided to close the store later then usuall that
week." She shrugged as if it were nothing special, but I could tell that it
had been important to her. I placed a reasuring hand on her shoulder. She
smiled up at me, and I wanted to wrap my arms around her and tell her that I
was always there for her.
"I would have gone and seen you," I said smiling, *That'll Have to do.*
Serena giggled.
"Thanks." She smiled up at me and we just stood like that for a few
moments. If it wasn't for the cloud that passed over us, blocking the sun
and awakening me from my fantasy, then I would have wrapped my arms around
her and never let go. She blinked and shook her head.
"We better get going," Serena said glancing at Ami. I didn't want her to
leave.
"Alright," Ami went to go and pack up the things, as Serena stayed there.
"Darien?" She asked me.
I smiled down at her, "Yes, Serena?"
"Do you wanna come over tonight for diner? And a Movie? Ami will be over
there and Don't worry you won't have to put up with my cooking," She giggled
lightly. I had to admit that when she told me Ami would be there, I was kind
of upset. But hid it.
"Sure. I'd like that," I shrugged. She grabbed her purse and wrote down her
phone number and address, then gave it to me. Then Ami called to her.
"Bye, Darien," She said rushing off. I just stared at my shaking hand for a
while. She touched my hand. WHOOOOOOO!!!

)** Serena Tsukino **(

"So?" I asked her as I hung up the phone.
"So, Darien's coming over here. And your parents aren't over here," Ami
said placing her hands on her hips exasperatly.
"But you are," I countered, "And you are almost like a mother."
"Oh, Be that way," She tossed a pillow at me. I ducked it and laughed.
"Pizza's gonna be here within the hour," I said as the phone rang. I picked
it up. "Tsukino residence, This is Serena. How may I help you?" I heard a
familliar male voice laughing on the other line. I really wasn't to sure
what to say.
"Uuuummmmm," Was all I said, "Can I hang up, Darien, or are you going to
laugh like that untill I come to your funeral?"
"Sorry, Serena, It's just that you are ten times more polite then usuall.
Maybe I should contact you by phone more often," He laughed out.
"I resent that!" I said defesively.
"You should," He said, his laughter finally calming down, "I was wondering
if there was a movie you wanted me to pick up, or something?"
"Nahhh, I picked it up on our way back home." I replied casually.
"What movie is it?"
"You'll just have to wait to find out, now won't you?" I giggled.
"You're imposible, Serena." He replied exasperatly.
"I know that, but thanks for reminding me," I giggled, putting the speaker
phone on so Ami could listen. She began to laugh. I clamped my hand over her
mouth.
"So what's up with you?" He asked me casually.
"Nothing," I said stuffing the corner of a pillow in Ami's mouth.
"What was that?" Darien asked me curiously.
"Nothing," I laughed out.
"What torture are you putting poor Ami through?" Darien laughed out.
"She stuffed a pillow in my mouth!!" Ami laughed out, before I could stuff
the rest of it in her mouth. Darien laughed.
"I think she's gone insane, Ami. She needs help, much of it."
"Hey! I resent that, don't make cracks on my mental illness of stupidity,"
I giggled.
"So how's Rini? Did she survive her bath?" Darien asked as I took the
pillow out of Ami's mouth. She hit me with it and I grabbed it from her.
"She survived. And is now sleeping," I said ducking a hit from another
pillow. Darien heard the sound of a 115 pound girl hitting the floor and
became curious.
"What are you two doing over there?"
"Ami's beeting me with a pillow!!" I screeched ducking another hit from
Aimes.
"Aim for the head!" Darien yelled out. Ami doubled over with laughter. I
took the opurtunity to beat her with my pillow. Darien started to laugh
again. I heard a knock in the background of Darien's phone. "Hang on a
second," There was a quick pause and Darien came back on, "Andrew's here.
I'll be over about eight?"
"How's nine thirty? If you come over before Rini goes to bed, I won't be
able to get her to sleep," I said ducking another swipe from Ami.
"That sounds great. I'll be over by then. Bye, Sere." He said. *HOLD IT!!*
My mind screemed, *He gave you a nickname? How cute!!! It's Sere!!*
"Bye, Darien." I smiled as I pressed the speeker phone button off.
"That's so cute," Ami said hitting me again with the pillow. I got back at
her.
"What is?" I asked as I jumped on the couch and grabbed another pillow.
"Your nickname." She said as she giggling grabbed another pillow. This
fight went on for another few minutes but then the pizza came and Rini woke
up.

)** Darien Chiba **(

"Sere?" Andrew asked me as I hung up the phone. I couldn't stop laughing.
"What?" I asked him innocently.
"Who's Sere?" Andrew asked.
"Serena," I said as if it were common knowledge.
"SERENA!!!!????? Yeah right," Andrew doubled over with laugher, "Who is it
really?"
"Check the caller ID," I said as he came over by the phone.
"Yipes!!! It IS Serena. Okay How did you brainwash her?" Andrew asked
shoving his fists onto his hips. I chuckled going into the kitchen.
"I didn't brainwash her," I said calmly, "I apologized. And She invited me
over tonight."
"A little candle-light dinner?" He asked suddenly as gossipy as a school
girl.
"No, A movie, a Pizza and Ami as our chaparone," I said picking up a bottle
of water.
"Ohhh, how romantic," Andrew said sarcastically rolling his eyes.
"Isn't it though?" I said calmly between sips of my water.
"What happens when Ami goes home?" Andrew asked. I nearly spit out my
water.
"Ami probobly won't go home. But if she did. . . NO! I am a respectable and
mature man," I said almost as if I were talking myself out of the thoughts
that were running through my mind. Andrew shook his head and laughed.
"I don't think I've ever seen Mr. Perfect this stressed out before," He
laughed.
"Shut up," I said calmly, "I'm going to take a cold shower. I'll be back in
a second . . ."

)** Serena Tsukino **(

"Oh, Come on, Rini!" I said chasing the little girl around my living room.
She picked up her blanket and ran into her room, "I'll lock it." She poked
her head out and smiled. Then We settled down to watch a movie, after a few
minutes Rini was out like a rock. I picked her up gently and took her up to
her room. I tucked her in, then shut the door.
"He's coming up the side walk!" Ami giggled as I came down stairs. She was
watching him from the window. I glanced at the clock.
"He's ten minutes early. Oh well, Rini's asleep." I said attacking some of
the dishes in the sink. He knocked on the door and Ami bounded to go and get
it. I giggled at her enthusiasm.
"Hey, Ami," I heard Darien's thick, rich voice.
"Hi, Darien," Ami giggled as he let him into my house.
"Hey, Darien!" I called from the kitchen. He walked into it.
"I'm sorry if Rini isn't asleep," He said sheepishly.
"Nahhhh, She's knocked out cold. Sorry, you're gonna have to wait for a
couple minutes while I attack the dishes from hell," I giggled as I set
another dish on the rack. Darien chuckled.
"So, how's your day been?" He asked me.
"Interesting. You know it was the oddest thing in the world: A very
egotistical guy came up to me and appologized for something he said.
Although, I'm going to have to say I'm glad he did, otherwise I would have
missed out on a great friend," I giggled as Darien raised an eyebrow. I set
the last dish on the rack and dried my hands off.
"Come on, Chico, I have a Star Trek movie that's calling my name. So let's
go." Darien laughed as he followed Ami and I downstairs into my rec-room.

)** Darien Chiba **(

I Wanted to wrap my arms around her waist and never let go. She had
actually ended up leaning against me. Then the phone rang and she had to get
up. I wanted to kill whoever had called. This was just annoying. I mean
there she was, right there. I growled slightly.
"Tsukino Residence, This is Serena. How may I help you?" She asked
politely, picking up the phone. There was a pause.
"No, I really wouldn't be able to pledge money to the international chicken
yodeling contest. (Pause) Alright. I will (pause) Good-bye." And she hung up
the phone.
"The international chicken yodeling contest?" I asked as she sat back down.
"Yeah. I think the chicken yodeling school called us once," She giggled
then snuggled slightly up against me again. My body went crazy. Out of
reflex i placed my arm around her shoulders. She got even closer to me.
"Hey! Hey! You two. Am I the only mature one here!?" Ami giggled out.
Serena pulled away from me and smiled. I gave Ami a look that said, 'I know
where you live.' And she gave me a look that said, 'No you don't.' I shot
back with a look that said, 'Phone book.'
After a while the movie ended and Serena glanced at the clock. and groaned
slightly, "I suppose this is good-bye, Darien." She smiled at me. That was
it. No more holding myself back, I was just going to express my fellings and
if she didn't want them, then I would back off.
I snached her around the waist and pulled her close the, my wonderous dream
came true. I kissed her. And even something better came back to me. Serena
kissed me back. Out of damn suprised reflex, I tried to pull away, but
luckily, her arms slipped around my neck and I held her tightly. She
apperently refused to let go of me, as I did her. Oh it was soooooooooo
perfect. Her lips became one with mine and- and- and- everything that you
could sum up in a lifetime of a regular love was placed into that one kiss.
After a few long moments I gently invaded her mouth, and she seemed to lean
into me even more. The Emotions, and sensations that come over me were
imposible to describe. But the feel of her was too perfect, too gentle,
too... hevenly that not even God himself could describe the feelings I had.
Her taste was sweet, like strawberries and I never wanted to let go, but I
knew I would have to someday... I heard someone clear their throat. Serena
and I finally broke the bond.
"I apperently do not have much say in what you two do, but I'm pretty sure
that wasn't one of the things you're allowed to do." Ami said tapping her
foot, more for effect then scolding. Serena blushed and pulled away from me.
I nearly screamed out 'Don't go!!' but kept my mouth shut.
"Sorry, Miss Anderson," She said sarcastically and stepped foreward again.
She looked up into my eyes, almost as if she were pleading with my soul that
I wrap my arms around her again.
"Well, Darien," She said to me, "THAT was certianly unexpected."
"Oh," My soul had been broken. The girl (Literaly) from my dreams, had said
that.
"But," She wrapped her arms around my neck again, "I think it was the good
kind of unexpectancy," She said raising her self so her lips were
millimeters from mine. I snached her waist again and dipped her.
"Was it?" I asked suddenly rejuvinated.
"It was," She giggled. And I kissed her again.
"Well, If only this could happen to me. . ." I heard Ami grumble.
