| Title: The Note Authour: Xaphrin Rating: Pg-13 (Language) E-mail: MoonPrincessRose@aol.com Moon_Princess13@excite.com So this is my stuff at the beginning: #1 E-MAIL ME DAMN IT!!!!! I Lovvvvvvvves E-mail. And I do not own sailor moon. And If you read a story by a person named Xan, and Xaphrin, I didn't really do much with it. I put in all the pointless comments ^_~ But I recomend it, if she ever gets off her butt and asks me what we could do with it (Hint, Hint Xan.) So anyways, I hope you like this story, it's my first story that's written in First person, OH and If my friend, Xeally (Spelling, Girl?) Ever gets her story out (Hint Hint, Girly) I sooooooooo toatly recomend it. Anyways, you go read my damn story. ******************* It all started with a note. One peice of paper with ink on it. One damn peice of paper with stupid black ink on it. If it weren't for that damn peice of paper with fucking black ink on it, I never would have had to deal with all the crap I had been putting up with the days after. So I was in my room, working on a story I had been thinking about writing, And I heard this sound outside. I dismissed it as Luna or Artemis creeping around in the bushes. But then the door bell rang. I figured I had better answer it, for the sake it might be for my mom or dad. Sighing I opened the door. I found no one there. But I did find a beautiful white rose (Which, by the way, is my favourite flower. <Next to a daisy.>) With that fucking peice of paper with fucking black ink on it. I opened it, and read: To my Usagi: Unremerkable doesn't even begin to describe your beauty, X-traodany is no where near your gentleness Every moment that I am beside you, I cherish Don't ever lose that spark of yours you have. for I would be inadequate with out it Of The feelings I have, I cannot describe from whence they came, but they are powereful May one day you Un-Mask me. A name you will get, one day . . . I promise Save your vitality, It will show many people the real amazing you Kindness is an aspect of you I treasure 'My Usagi'? What the hell does that mean? And why was this thing written so oddly? My mind began to race through all the language classes I had taken. Japanese sounded correct, and I ran to get my japanese text book from the summer class I had taken last year. I looked it up. Bunny on the moon. My bunny On the Moon? It was cute, but strange. I shook my head and stared at the white rose. How had he known? Shaking my head again I went outside and began to look around. I gave up after a few minutes, and decided to head to the arcade. For my now ritualistic talk with Andrew, and my daily fight with Darien. ** I Walked up to the counter and took a stool infront of Andrew. He smiled at me and noticed that my mind seemed not really focused. "Hey, Sugar," He said pushing a strand of my hair out of my face. I looked up at him and smiled. He scruched his nose and smiled at me, "What's wrong?" "Yeah, Sugar? What's wrong?" a male voice mocked from behind me. I turned to find Darien standing there. I rolled my eyes at the egotistical, arrogant, testosterone fueled, man and continued to talk to Andrew. "I got this really weird note from some one," I said placing my chin in my hands. "Really? Who?" Andrew said to me ignoring his stupid friend. "I don't know. It was interesting though." "Awww, Serena has a secret admierer, now does she? Now who on God's green earth would be that stupid? And probably blind too." I turned around to Darien, who was standing there smugly. My bottom lip trembled trying to hold back the tears that came. Emotional stress sucks, dear readers. Let me tell you. With everything that had happened, I certianly didn't need Darien's smart aleck remarks. A small tear escaped my eye and ran dowm my cheek. I wiped it away. "Please Stop, Darien," I asked him politely, and quietly. It apperently stunned him and he looked at me as if asking, 'What's wrong?'. I turned back to Andrew, "I think I'm going to go now, Andrew. Thanks for listening," I grabbed my purse and walked out of the arcade. "Serena?" I heard both Andrew and Darien call after me. I only walked faster and then it began to thunder, giving me an excuse to run. Suddenly rain began to pour down on me. I ran faster. Suddenly I stumbbled over a crack in the sidewalk, triped and began to fall backwards. I mentaly braced myself for the impact of me on the pavement, but found soft, gentle, and strong hands. I looked up through the bangs plastered to my face, to find HIM standing there. Of all people to fall into, HIM. I pushed myself up and looked him in the eyes. "Thank You," I whispered to him. He looked at me only more curiously. "Are you okay, Serena?" He asked me. I tucked a peice of soaking wet hair behind my ear. "I'm Fine," I said quietly. "I don't belive that. What's wrong, Serena?" "N-Nothing," I said then began to rush off, leaving him behind me. Why should he care weather or not I was fine? After all he made my life a living hell. I sighed as I walked into my house and stripped off my soaking wet clothes. My Parents were off visiting my aunt and uncle for today and tomarrow, and Sammy was at a friend's house. I was left alone. As I normally was. After I changed there was a knock at my door. I rushed downstairs, hoping it might be Mina or Lita, Or Rei, or SOMEONE. But when I opened it, I got a suprise. HIM. "Darien? What do you want?" I asked him. His hair was plastered to his face and his blue-grey eyes glittered like stars. I found myself unable to stray from their demanding gaze. "I want to Apologize for what I said. I'm sorry, I was completely out of line, Serena," He said his eyes not straying from mine. Now, Dear readers, I gaurentee you that if Darien had shown up on my doorstep any other day, he would have automatically been kicked off it. But for some reason my concious apperently had found me that day, and I was forced to let him inside my house. "Please, Serena. Don't be mad at me. I didn't mean it," He said to me. "If you didn't mean it, then why did you say it?" I asked him, before I went off and got him a towel. He murmured a thank you and I sighed. "Awwww, Serena, don't look like that. You're making me depressed," Darien raised my chin so I was looking into his face. For his sake I put on a fake half-smile and pulled my face away from his gentle touch. "Nice try," He said to me, "C'mon. I know there's some thing down in the depths of your soul you can give to me. Please?" This time I smiled a true half smile and he stroked my cheek, "There we go." Now why he was being so nice to me was beyond my comprehension. And why my skin tingled under his touch was also a mystery to me. "Well," I said, feeling suddenly uncomforatable, "I suppose, now that your concious is clear, you'd want to leave." "No." Was all he said. It startled me, and I took a step back from him. To compensate for that space he took a step forward. And another step. Now we were standing inches apart. And now I gaurentee that being that close to some one that good looking, is certianly a rollercoaster for one's emotions. But that wasn't the end of it though, Darien slipped his arms around my waist. THAT is a roller coaster ride for the emotions. My breathing deepened and my mind went completely numb. And yet, THAT also wasn't the end of it. He bent down and soon his lips were millimeters from mine. I barely could control my trembling. And that's when it happened. Darien kissed me. His lips were pressed against mine and that's when I could control my trembeling no longer. The flood of emotions that passed over me was imposible to describe. But I found that I couldn't break free from Darien's grasp. If I wanted to was another question. Darien seemed to notice my shivering and tightened his grip on me. That's when I broke free. It took all the energy I could find, but I did break the bond. "Don't, Darien," Was all I said. Hurt could easily be seen in his eyes. "Good Bye, Serena," He said then left. Was that all he came here for? And why did he kiss me? It certainly wasn't needed. I shook my head and tried to decide weather or not I had liked the kiss. Now, Dear Readers, I have never been kissed. And I certainly didn't want someone who tormented me every day giving me my first kiss. But still . . . I was still deciphering weather or not I had liked it. And what if I ran into him on the street or at the arcade? Then what would I say? What would I do? And still the note person... The note person. I rushed to get the note. I think I knew who had sent it to me. I took away all letters of each line, except the first one and came up with this- Tuxedo Mask. I raised my eyebrow, then sighed deeply. Certainly not, him . . . But still . . . couldn't it be a coincidence? Okay okay, that was just thinking completely stupid. It had to be tuxedo mask. How he knew, that I was Sailor Moon was beyond me. Unless he watched Serena everyday. . . Now THAT scared me. Yes, I Serena Tsukino, at the age of fourteen, have stalkers. That is so wrong. That is just wrong beyond belife. Shaking my head I felt almost as if the walls of my house were closing in on me. I grabbed my purse and my stash of emergancy cash then rushed out of the house. ** The mall was busy, I liked it like that. No one would notice a stupid girl like me. Also hoping that no one would notice that I carried over five hundred dollars in my purse right now. Mom's beeper went off (Mom had asked me to use her beeper, while she had the cell phone.) I went to the nearest pay phone. "Serena?" It was my mother. "Hi, Mom. What's up?" I said. "Your Aunt and uncle need some more help around here, so we're gonna be gone for about another three to five days. We'll tell you by tonight. And we've made the arrangements for Sammy to stay at Jacob's house for that time." "Alright, mom." "Okay, Honey. I love you. Bye. "I love you too mom, Bye." And I hung up the phone. Today was just being weird with me. I started walking toward downtown, why? I don't know. But anything was better then . . . I stopped. The streets were dark. I was only nine houses down from mine. But something felt wrong. I shook it off figuring it was nothing. But it wasn't. I took one more step and then a person stepped out infront of me. A man. His hair was dirtty and disheveled. His skin was raggety, dirtty, and the scent of alcohol was on his breath. I took one look at him and stepped back, begging to run, but he snached my wrist harshly. I cried out in pain. He didn't seem to notice. "Awwww, is the little girl far from home? Well, I better make her feel welcome here then," He took a step forward grasping my other wrist. I started to cry out but he ramed his knee into my stomach, making me double over. Dear Readers, If you have the chance I highly recomend on reading thoes articles in magazines about escaping your rapists. I usually figured I was pretty safe in my little neighborhood. I was wrong. As I was doubled over he took that as the perfect oportunity to stick his hands down my tee shirt. I tried to cry out again but he only hit my cheek, making a large bruise there. I gasped in pain. *Where's a sailor scout when you need one?* Was all that ran through my mind. He laughed harshly as tears ran down my cheeks, he hit me constantly and taking the moments where I was crying out in pain as an oportunity to do more sexual damage to my body. Now, Dear readers, although this seems like a long time, it truely couldn't have been more then two minutes. Which is an eternity if you were in the position I was. But a saviour had come along. Yes, a pure saint. "Get your damn filthy hands off her!!," The new man cried out, snaching my raipst away from me and ramming him into the wall behind us. The raipest, fought back, but my saviour seemed more on his toes then the drunken rapist and easily knocked him out. After he was done he turned to me, "Are you alright, MissssssSerena!?!" I could barely see my saviour's face. But I suddenly knew who it was. I was on my knees, on the dirty ground looking up at my saviour through my tears. Bruises began to darken across my body. My saviour knelt next to me. "Oh, Serena . . ." He whispered. "D-Darien?" I asked trembeling with fright, pain, and even some happiness. "Oh, Serena." Darien wrapped his arms around me carefully, "I'm taking you home." I couldn't care. I was too frightened to. After a long while we ended up at my house. Darien grabbed the purse (Which, amazingly, hadn't been raided.) and took out my house key. He opened the door and took me straight to my room. He looked over my body. "D-D-Darien," I gasped out, crying, "D- D- Don't leave m-me." Darien shook his head. "No. I wouldn't." He whispered to me. I nodded harshly as my body tensed up. I started pouring out tears again, and Darien tried to comfort me, "Shhhhhhhh, Serena. Every thing is going to be fine. I Promise," he took my hand. As much as I wanted to belive him, I knew it never would. I knew I would never be the same person again. My mind was beginning to go numb and I fell asleep. Now, Dear Readers, I cannot tell you much of how Poor Darien felt, so I will turn the narration over to him. I promise though I will be back. )** Darien's Point Of View **( It was just one of thoes days. I didn't know why I had done what I'd done, but the point was that I had done it. I had kissed Serena. Walking out of downtown into the subburbs, my mind wandered. I knew that I had always felt some attraction toward Serena, but never admitted it . . . Untill now. I shook of all my thoughts about Serena and continued on with my walking. But that's when I heard it: The sounds of struggling. I crept up to the ally I was nearing and turned to find some poor young girl being raped. I had absolulely no intention of just walking by. This enraged me. Some poor young girl who didn't even look older then Serena was being raped. The world, it seems, was an actual living hell. I took a step forward and approched the man. "Get you damn filthy hands off her!!" The words flew out of my mouth, and I approached the apperently drunken man. He took his hands out of the poor girls shirt and that enraged me only more. I shoved him against the brick wall behind the poor girl. The man wasn't that hard to safely knock out. He was drunk so he was already three qaurters there. After the man (As inhumane as this may sound, but it is the truth) was lying knocked out cold in the ally. I turned to the poor girl. "Are you alright, MisssssSerena!?!" My beloved Serena looked up at me with these eyes that screamed for help. Her clothes were torn, her body had cuts and bruises, She was dirty, and she had tears running down her poor face. I quickly knelt next to her, "Oh, Serena . . ." I wasn't sure how to comfort her. After the incedent before... I made up my mind that it made no difference. This was my beloved Serena. "D- Darien?" She trembled out, her blue eyes no longer shimered with the vitality that they once had. I wrapped my arms around her. "Oh, Serena . . ." I said again. I finally made up my mind as to what to do. I wouldn't leave her side untill She was up to her normal vitality, "I'm taking you home," I forced out. I carefully picked her up and took her back to her house. When I reached her door I felt around in her purse for her key. I found it and quickly opened the door. I made an educated guess that Serena's room was the room painted pink with little blue rabbits all over the walls. Apperently I was right. I set her down on her bed. "D- D- Darien? D- D- on't leave m- me," She gasped out. I took one look over her torn body and made a promise both to her and myself. I shook my head at her. "No. I wouldn't," her body seemed to tense up, and I took her hand, "Shhhhhhhhh, Serena. Every thing's going to be fine. I promise." She seemed to nod just to humour me. But I think we both knew that we would never be the same again. Serena's body went limp and she fell asleep. I ran my fingers through my hair. Some one I care about deeply was nearly raped. The thought finally ran through my mind. I was about to run around her house throwing a tantrum. But controled my self and made a checklist of what to do. I knew that the first thing I would have to do, is remove her, dirty, torn, and soaking wet clothes. I didn't really want to, because I felt like I would be violating her privacy. But after a few seconds I figured It would be the best thing to do. I cautiously approched my angel's sleeping body. I grabbed the bottom of her tee-shirt and pulled it over her head. I tried my best not to stare at the beauty of a body I found underneath. It was very hard. Serena was beautiful... I shook my head and gently laied the shirt flat so it could dry. Then I slowly approached her soaking wet jeans. I knew i couldn't leave thoes on. I slowly took them off her and once again tried not to stare at the body I found underneath. She was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. I looked at the scrapes around her body, and decided that they had better be cleaned right away. I found the bathroom and cleaned her cuts carefully with soap and water. When I was done I put her under her covers and sat next to her bed. After a while my eyes closed, but I made sure I was holding Serena's hand. Now, Dear readers, I cannot tell you much more. So I will give the narraration back to Serena. )** Serena's Point Of Veiw **( When I woke up I was under my covers, and I didn't have clothes on. Not to mention Darien was next to me holding my hand. I snached it away, apperently waking him up. "Serena?" He asked slightly groggy. His eyes flashed open and I cowered under the covers. "Shhhhhhh, Serena it's okay," He said getting up. I bit my lower trembeliming lip. What if HE was my rapist? My breathing hardened. "Please don't hurt me," I whispered. Darien was apperently taken aback, by that comment. I know this is silly, but one look into his eyes and I felt as if I could leave my life in his hands, and It would be perfectly safe. I looked up at him, "Don't leave me, please, Darien," I begged him. Darien took a step forward and pushed a few strands of hair out of my face. "I won't. I can't," He said kneeling next to me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and began to sob, "Shhhhhhhhhh. It's okay. Don't worry, I'm right here." I didn't know what to do. I just sat there, on my bed, hugging my worst enemy. And I didn't care, because for some reason, It felt right to be in his arms. After five minutes I pulled back from him, and whiped the tears from my eyes, sheepishly. Well, who wouldn't have been sheepish? I had just poured my heart out to my archenemy. But for some reason, It was an archenemy who cared about me. "I'm sorry," I whispered. Darien cupped my face with his hands. "Don't be. You have every reason to cry, Serena," He said quietly, and carefully. I wrapped my arms around his neck once again, and began to cry. Darien stroked my hair. My body tingled under his touch, a feeling I decided I liked. After a while I finally pulled back from him. "I'm going to take a shower," I began to slip out from inder my covers, but relized I had no clothes on again. "Um . . . Darien?" He turned a deep crimson and left my room, I could hear him going down stairs. I grabbed a few items of clothing and went into the bathroom. I looked at my reflection in the mirror. Bruises covered half my body, I was dirty, but. . . I was alive. And I had been saved. The thought wanted to make me run downstairs and throw my arms around Darien's neck and tell him how much he ment to me. But I made sure that I took my shower first. When I stepped into the stream of water, it stung my skin. I looked around my body to find scrapes and cuts. They had been cleaned of the dirt. Darien. Why was he being so nice to me? Why didn't he just leave me there in the ally? I shook my head and decided that if you just left someone to something like that you were the devil reincarnated. I quickly changed and went downstairs to find Darien sitting in a chair with his head in his hands. I stood infront of him. And he looked up at me. I threw my arms around his neck and straddled his lap, "Thank you. I know that it's no where near enough, but thank you." Darien slipped his arms around my waist and held me tightly. "It's more then enough, Serena," Was all he said. We stayed like that for a matter of minutes, before I finally pulled away. And looked into his blue-gray eyes. Eyes that no longer seemed harsh and unforgiving. But eyes that seemed gentle, and sweet. Caring eyes that I could look into forever. Darien wiped away a tear that had worked it's way down my cheek. "Don't cry, Serena. I care about you too much." Thoes words dumbstruck me. Darien, Cared about me? Sence when? "Darien, You care about me?" I questioned. Darien stood up and nodded. "Yes, Serena. I, Darien Chiba, care about you Serena Tsukino. More then you may ever know," He said looking me in my eyes. I smiled up at him. "I care about you too, Darien," I whispered. Darien was apperently suprised by that remark. But he smiled down at me. I hugged him, and wiped another tear from my eye. "So . . . " Darien drifted off. "So . . ." I replied. "Do you wanna get something to eat?" He asked me. I considered it for a second. "Alright," I replied. "Okay, Then let's go." I grabbed my coat and the two of us walked to the arcade. Now, Dear readers, I will give the narraration back to Darien, for I feel he is much needed in this story. )** Darien's Point Of Veiw **( I Felt horrible for what had happened to Serena. Almost as if it was my fault. And if you think about it. . . It kind of was. That thought was almost enough to drive me to insanity . . . I glanced up, after a shadow fell across me, to find my beloved Serena. She threw her arms around my neck and straddled my lap. Now in the words of Serena herself: That was a roller coaster ride for one's emotions. "Thank you. I know that it's no where near enough, but thank you," She whispered to me. I could barely control my trembeling as I slipped my arms around her waist. The last time we were in a similar position, I had gotten hurt. But I figured That it would do me no harm to stay like this. "It's more then enough, Serena," I said to her. After a few minutes, Serena finally pulled away from me. I wanted to shout, 'No! Don't leave!'. But I said nothing, I just looked into her sky-blue eyes and sighed silently. Suddenly it was almost as if she was examining my eyes. Trying to find me in there. I noticed a tear running down her cheek, I quickly went to wipe it away. "Don't Cry, Serena. I care about you too much," My beloved Serena seemed dumbstruck at these words and looked questioningly at me. "Darien? You care about me?" She said, almost as if it were imposible to belive. I stood up, "Yes, Serena," I said choosing my words carefully, "I, Darien Chiba, care about you, Serena Tsukino. More then you may ever know." I looked into her eyes again. She smiled up at me, making me feel giddy inside. "I care about you too, Darien." That certianly was a remark I wasn't ready for. But I smiled at her and She hugged me. Another ride on the emotional roller coaster. After we broke apart the sience between us was defening. "So . . ." I Said driffting off. "So . . ." Serena replied. "Do you wanna get something to eat?" I asked. Serena considered it for a second then shruged, "Alright." "Okay Then, Let's go," I grabbed my coat as she grabbed hers and we walked along the streets that had seemed so harsh and cruel to us last night. "So, Serena, Where are your parents," I said trying to make conversation. Serena's body had tensed up whe we went out side, and to help her become relaxed, I took her hand. Although now it was making me tense. Serena looked up at me. "They're out of town helping my Aunt and Uncle with some things," She said hugging my arm tightly. Although we were on the other side of the street, we still had to pass that ally. That ally from hell. I sliped my arm around Serena's shoulders. "it's okay, I'm right here," I whispered to her. She nodded harshly. "Darien, Will you stay with me tonight. Please? I know it's childish, but . . ." I looked into her blue eyes. Eyes that seemed almost as if her child hood was now gone forever. It might as well have just flew out the window. "No, No, It's alright. I promise I'll be right by your side whenever you need me. No matter where and no matter when," I said taking her hand. She snuggled against me a little, and my body went completely crazy. This was perfect. Absolutely perfect. We finally got to the arcade. Serena and I sat down in a booth in the far corner. The entire place seemed to go silent, when they noticed us walking in together, and Serena and I NOT bickering. Andrew came up to us and raised an eyebrow. "Okay, Okay, What happened?" Andrew asked, "Who died?" Serena cowered slightly, almost as if she was reminded of her rapist. "No one Died, Andrew," I said getting up. I was about to give him a good lesson in thinking before you speak, "I have to talk to you." I looked at Serena whose eyes seemed to be begging that I didn't leave her, "I'll be right back. I Promise," I said to her. And she nodded. I grabbed andrew by his shirt collar and dragged him behind the counter and into the kitchen. "Okay, listen. Something really really really REALLY bad happened to Serena last night." "DID some one die?" Andrew questioned, apperently concerned. "I was about to kill some one," I sighed looking toward the ground, "For doing what they did to Serena," I had to stop myself from saying 'My Beloved Serena'. "What happened?" Andrew asked. I shook my head and Andrew grabbed my arm, "Serena is my friend too, ya know. I should know what happened." I looked at him and rolled my eyes. "I can't tell you," I said Andrew growled at me. I looked at him, He did have a right to know. I shook my head, "If you tell I will hunt you down and dismember your body peice by peice." I growled. Andrew considered it for a second then nodded. "Serena was almost raped last night," I whispered. Andrew stepped back. "Did he . . . touch her?" He asked worried completely. "Yes," I was on the verge of tears. "Oh my god," Andrew whispered. "I know," I ran my fingers through my hair, "I don't wanna leave her side. I don't think she wants me to either." I took a deep breath. "Oh, God. I feel horrible," Andrew said. "Yeah, well Serena's waiting for me," I said and went back to Serena. Some one sat across from her. It was a sweet blue haired, blue eyed girl. I looked at Ami who smiled a little weakly at me. I sat next to Serena. And Ami raised an eyebrow. "Hey, Are you guys alright?" Ami asked us. Seren looked up at me. "We're fine," I said forcefully. Serena tugged on the sleve of my jacket, "Can we go home, please." Her bottom lip trembled. I suddenly found myself wanting to kiss her, just so her lips could stop trembling. I shook the thought off and took her hand. "Alright. C'mon," I glanced at Andrew and Ami, then Serena and I walked out of the arcade. She held on to me tightly. "I'm sorry, it's just . . ." Serena began. "You don't need to apologize, Serena, I understand," she looked up at me and smiled. The walk home seemed almost shorter. When we reached her house I opened the door and we walked inside. She went and sat down on the couch. "Darien?" She asked as I sat next to her. "Yes, Serena?" I inquired. "Can we talk about before?" She asked looking at me. "What about before?" I asked. Confused. "When we . . .When you . . . Kissed me?" "Oh." I could feel blood creeping into my cheeks. "Why did you?" "W-Why?" Serena nodded as I stuttered. "Uhhh, I- I- because I like you Serena. If there was one dream of mine I ever wanted to fulfill, that was it," I said to her, then stared at the ground. Serena's arms slid around my neck. "If you had the chance, would you kiss me again?" I looked at her. Instinctivly my arms slid around her waist. She looked me in the eyes, but my gaze was glued to her soft, rosy lips. "Yes." I whispered. Serena raised an eyebrow. "Well?" She asked. And I pressed my lips against hers. The feeling I got was imposible to describe. Perfect didn't come even close. After a few seconds we parted, and Serena leaned against me, I draped my arm over her shoulders. "Darien?" Serena looked up at me, and I looked down at my beloved. "Yes, Usagi?" Serena pulled away from me completely. "What did you just call me?" She asked, enraged. I had just blown my cover. She knew. "I- I- I-," I stuttered. Serena seemed afraid, enraged and happy all at the same time. But most of all enraged. "Please Leave, Mr. Chiba," She said addressing me formally, and throwing me off gaurd. "But, Serena . . .?" I questioned. "Please Leave, Mr. Chiba," She said again, this time more forcefully. I forced back the tears forming in my eyes. "Good bye, Serena," I said then left. Serena shut the door behind me. Now, Dear readers, you have to know the pain I was going through. And not much happened after that, So I will once again return the narration back to Serena. )** Serena's Point of Veiw **( "Well?" I asked him, hoping he would kiss me again. That's when he drew closer and pressed his lips against mine. It was sheer bliss. Why I hadn't noticed this feeling before, was beyond me. After a few seconds Darien broke the bond, and I leaned against him. He draped an arm over my shoulders. "Darien?" There were still things that needed to be answered. "Yes, Usagi?" He said. He called me USAGI!?!? Everything clicked finally. I pulled away from him. And gave my best enraged look, which wasn't hard, because I was. "What did you just call me?" I growled. "I- I- I-," he stuttered, apperently caught off gaurd. I was upset at this man, I needed to be alone, "Please Leave, Mr. Chiba." I said addressing him formally, hoping to god that he would leave. "But, Serena . . .?" he questioned. "Please Leave, Mr. Chiba," I said a bit more forcefully this time. "Good Bye, Serena," He said then left. I shut the door behind him, then slumped down to the ground and began to cry. Had I lost both my protecters? Thunder sounded a few seconds after I had closed the door. I began to cower but I also knew that I couldn't leave poor Darien out there. I opened the door and rushed into the sheet of water after him. "DARIEN!!?" I shouted out. I saw his slumped figure not far down from my house. I ran up to him, "Darien? Come back, You'll catch your death out here." I took his arm and half dragged him back to my house. "Serena. . .I . . ." Darien was trying to figure out what to say. "I am perpared not to lose both of you, Darien. But I do belive that we can talk this out like mature adults. So come on. Not to mention that it's raining and-" BIG clap of thunder "-Thundering," I said my body shaking. We finally got to my house and I opened the door. "Serena, I wanted to tell you but . . ." Darien looked at me. I closed the door and went and got him a towel. He began to dry off. "Darien, don't talk about it yet. I'll be right back." I ran upstairs, feeling his eyes follow me, and went and changed. Then grabbed him a blanket. I tossed it to him and he smiled at me, "Come on, Boy. We've got to talk about this." I went to our living room and turned on our gas fireplace. (It comes in handy.) "So . . ." I began, "Why didn't you tell me?" "I wanted to, but I thought that if you knew you would look at me differently." He said. "I wouldn't have looked at you differently, Darien. You are a wonderful person, and I would have seen what's inside. Not Tuxedo Mask." I went up and sat with him on the couch, "Besides, you're to precious for me to lose." "You know normally, I would be saying that to you," Darien raised an eyebrow and I smiled. My hand found his and I looked him in the eyes. "So, are you still going to stay with me?" I asked him. "I Think the question is if you want me to," He said. "I do." "Then I will." His arms had been inching toward my waist. I Snuggled up against him, that was enough permission for his arms to slip around my waist. He looked down at me, "Serena? May I kiss you again?" I didn't even want to wait this time, I reached up and kissed him myself. When we parted, Darien kissed me again, only this time, with a passion I didn't know he had. My arms wrapped around his neck, then Darien urged my mouth open. I pulled back completely. "Please Don't," I begged him. This was too much. As much as I wanted to go, I couldn't. "I'm sorry," He apologized. "Well, It's just that I got my first kiss yesterday, and-" He cut me off. "Wait, by WHOM did you get your first kiss?" He asked, "Who is touching MY Usagi?" "Actually. . . It was you." I said sheepishly. "Oh. Well then I think you're okay." "Of course, I've got the most wonderful, caring, sweet, and best looking man of all Tokyo." I said laying my head in his lap and looking up at him. "Awwww, thanks." "You will tell Andrew I said that, right?" "Hey!" Darien said. I got up and kissed Darien. "I love You Mr. Chiba." I said laying my head back in his lap. "I love You Miss Tsukino." He whispered back. ************************* So there is my story, I hope you enjoyed it.
