important thing: E-MAIL ME, DAMN IT!! Well then on with the story . . .

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"You did this to annoy me? Didn't you!?" Prince Darien reprimanded his
father, King Davian. His midnight blue eyes flashed as he stared down his
father.
"A ball to celebrate your returning from your . . . escapade. I just want
you to meet some people," Davian said catiously, and slightly frilled by his
steaming mad son.
"Who happen to be all women?" Darien growled back, "Father! I- I- I'm
hating you for this! Don't you get that I'll chose my wife on my OWN?!"
"Well, I can't wait that long. Now go out there!!" And his father pushed
him out onto the royal purple carpet to meet the 'few' people. Few as in a
few hundred.

** Princess Serena of the Moon was pacing outside the royal study, trying to
decide weather her curiousity was worth pleasing. She had on a long white
cloak, completely covering the dress she was wearing. She was waiting for
her four gardians and friends: Princess Mina of Venus, Princess Lita of
Jupiter, Princess Ami of Mercury, and Princess Rei of Mars.
"Princess?" Serena turned to find her gaurdians standing there.
"Mina, Lita, Ami, Rei?" She said to them. It sounded almost as if she was
asking them if this was worth it.
"Let's go!" Said an over excided Mina. The others shrugged under their
cloaks, in the colours of their planets, and went into the study, where the
transportation system was.

**". . . Princess Matianna of the Scilice Kingdom." A lovely black haired
girl glidded up infront of him and curtsied. Darien returned the gesture
with a stiff bow. He was paying more attention to the floor then anything
else. In a balcony he saw his father scowling at him.
"Lady Kassian, Daughter of Duke Garlinton. . . " A bony, shapeless, raggety
girl walked up to him and curtsied. *Geez this girl looks like a wilted
daisy,* Prince Darien thought to himself as he once again bowed stiffly to
the girl. He rolled his eyes and began to stare at the far wall.
" . . . Lady Ulinnia, Daughter of Sir Gregory Darthin," A girl who also
looked like some type of wilted flower walked up to him and curtsied.
Suddenly a girl wandered across the far wall. She seemed overly curious to
his palace.
Her hair looked like it had stolen the rays of gold from the sun, her eyes
looked as if she had taken Posiden's gems from the sea, and her skin was the
colour of gentel moon beams. Her hair was innocently placed on her hair in
two buns with sweet pony-tails coming down from them and falling well past
her knees. *Beautiful, doesn't even begin to describe her,* Darien thought.
And her dress (AN: If you can't visualize it, it looks exactly like
Cinderella's from the Disney movie.) had slightly puffed light blue sleves
and a darker blue ballroom skirt, with light blue folds of fabric over the
sides, and the entire thing was glittering. She had on white gloves and
glass slippers. *Glass slippers? Who dances in glass slippers?* Darien asked
himself.
Around her were four young women who looked about her age. One had long
blonde hair and yellow ball-room dress that was gathered in spicific places
(AN: Bell's Dress from Beauty and the Beast.). Another had short blue har
and had on a blue dress with long sleves and a slightly stiff, up-turned
colar (AN: Sleeping beauty's dress.). Another had long black hair and a long
red tank-dress. And another had dark brown hair and wore a plain dark green
ballroom dress. But Darien still couldn't shake off the feeling from the
first Beauty. He pushed passed 'Lady Ulinna' and went right up to her.
"Hello," Darien bowed.
"Oh! Um, Hello," The beauty curtsied to him, the four girls around her also
curtsied.
"May I have this dance, miss . . .?" He asked holding out his hand to her.
"Pri-uh- Sere- Serea (AN: It supposed to be spelled like that.)," She said
taking his hand.
"It's beautiful," Darien said as he whisked her into a waltz.
"What is?" She asked him inqusistivly.
"Your name."
'Serea' blushed, "Oh, thank you." She smilled. Making Darien feel giddy
inside. Out of the corner of his eye he could see a huge smille on his
father's face. Darien rolled his eyes.
'Serea' raised an eyebrow at him, "What?"
"It's just my father." and the two continued around the room.

** "Who is that?" Mina inquired, "And why does Serena get him!?"
"Oh, Come on, Min. I think Serena and him are cute together." Ami said
whimsically.
"Serena better get his name," Rei giggled, "And ask if he has a brother so
we can shut up Mina," All the girls giggled as Mina crossed her arms over
her chest.
"Come on, Min. We're just kidding," Lita said. Mina smiled.
"I'm suprised you didn't shreek, 'Oh! he looks like my old boyfriend!'."
Mina said laughing. Every one laughed with her, including Lita. Suddenly the
duo glidded passed them. Serena stopped and looked at the time. She
shreeked.
"Oh Dear!!" all the girls finally looked at the time. It said 1:20. That
ment their mothers knew they weren't on the moon.
'Serea' Turned to the girls, "We've gotta go. Now now now!!" Then she
turned to the handsome man she had been dancing with. How she longed to be
back in his arms. It just felt right when they were wrapped around her
slender body.
"I Really, must be going now . . ." She began to sneak away. Darien gently,
but fimly, grasped her wrist and looked into her starlight blue eyes.
"Please don't," He moved his gaze to her sweet, rosy lips. Lips that had
never been kissed.
"I have to," She quickly, gently, and almost unwillingly, snached her arm
back. And rushed out of the palace quickly putting on her cloak. Darien
began to run after her but was ransacked by a number of over giggling girls.
"SEREA!!!" He yelled. But she had gone.

** " . . . And not only did you go down to the planet unattended to, and
without telling anyone! You went to the Earth kingdom ball, unattended to,
and without telling anyone! You're in big trouble Serena! Serena!? Are you
even listening to me!!" Her mother, Queen Serenity, screemed. Serena's gaze
had driffted out the window and was entraced by that beautiful, blue planet.
"Huh? Oh yes, I am mother," Serena couldn't stop thinking about him. Serena
turned back to the window. She didn't even get his name, but . . . still . .
.
"SERENA!!! Uh, never mind. Forget it. You're not even listening to me. Just
go to your room! It's almost two." And with that Serenity flopped on her
couch, A very un-queenly manner but Serena had just taken all regal starture
out of her. Serena glidded out of the room in a waltz with some invisible
partner.
"I don't get her," Serenity shook her head, "Luna? Where ARE you?" Luna in
her cat form jumped up on Serenity's lap.
"Yes, My queen?" She slightly bowed her head then brought it back up to
look Serenity in her tired, worn-out, eyes.
"I Need to get to the bottom of this! Serena is not at ALL acting like her
normal self! I need to find out why! You must keep a close watch on her! And
please, make sure she doesn't run off to Earth again. I don't know if I can
handle it." Luna nodded and jumped from her position on Serenity's lap.
"Yes. My queen. Would you like Artemis' help as well? Maybe he can get
something from Princess Mina?" She asked her.
"Alright." Serenity raised her finger-tips to her forehead and rubbed her
cresent moon. Luna nodded and walked out of the study down to Serena's room.

** "WHAT!!!???" Mina screeched. It was amazing she didn't wake the whole
damn moon.
"Serena!" Even Ami was reprimanding her.
"Well . . . What was I supposed to do!? I was caught in the moment!!"
Serena played with one of her golden pony-tails in her lap.
"But you didn't even get his name!! He could be fucking GHANDI for all you
know!?" (AN: Yes I know that Ghandi probobly didn't exist in that time, but
bear with me here I'm trying to make a point. For this damn story's sake
lets say he exists.) Lita screeched.
"Yeah! I mean, If you saw the way you looked Serena, this would be an
entirely different matter!" Rei raised an eyebrow at her and Serena was
about to cower under her bed sheets. The five girls were in Serena's room.
She had the white french doors wide open and a soft breeze came into the
room. Earth glittered just above the railing of her balcony.
"I know what I felt . . ." Serena's eyes closed as she the warm, relaxed
feeling over came her. She rested her head in her hands, and sighed.
The four girls knew what happened, Serena had fallen in love.

)** Meanwhile . . . Back on Earth . . . **(

"Sooooo, have you found some one yet?" King Davian raised a questioning
eyebrow. Darien sighed exasperatly at his father, but he gave in.
"Yes." His eyes drifted to the window.
"And her name is . . .?"
"Serea."
"And she's from . . .?"
"I don't know! But I have to find her, Father!!"
"Not these next few weeks, Darien. We have a peace treaty meeting with the
people of the moon." Darien's eyes seemed to lose all their glimmer when his
father finished.
"Must I go?" He asked with a childish manner in his voice.
"YES!! As future ruler to This planet you must go!!" Davian said angrily.
"Alright. I'm going to bed," And with that Darien trudged to his room,
unable to think of anything but Serea.

** Sunlight streamed through her windows to dance on her golden hair. Serena
sat up and looked around her room. She slapped her fore-head, *The treaty
meeting!* It had been a week scence her trip to the Earth, and a week having
to bear that lonely heart ache. While rumagging through her closet she heard
small foot steps enter the room. She glanced toward her door to find Luna
coming in. She smiled a little weakly at her and turned back to her closet.
Luna had been following Serena around the past few days. Serena had no clue
as to why, but it was starting to become rather bothersome. And she just
wanted to be alone, especially when she had this heart ache.
Serena smiled a little when she pulled out her white dress, with long
sleves and silver lining along the edges of the sleves, the neck-line, and
the hem. It was rather form-fitting at the top, but had a wonderful, full
skirt. Serena also found her favourite pair of shoes, they looked like
silver ballet slippers. Her friends often told her that she looked like an
angel when she was decked out like this. Especially because of her silver
tiara and simple, but elegant silver jewlery.
Serena's mind began to wander while she was taking her shower. *What about
the earth prince? What if he knows me from the ball? What if he doesn't like
me? What if . . .* The what-if's began to spread through Serena's mind. In
the end she decided to play it safe and fake sick.

** Serenity walked into her daughter's room to find her snuggled under extra
blankets with a cup of tea by her side. She shook her head, *Of all days to
get sick. Honestly.*
"How are you feeling, honey?" Serenity sat down next to her daughter.
Serena fake-coughed, "Not to good," Came a very convincing raspy voice.
Serena's fore-head was warm and perspiering, Thanks to the lovely invention
called hot water. Serena picked her head up off the pillow a few inches, "I
have to go to the meeting, mum. You need me."
Serenity shook her head, "No I don't. You just stay here and get better,"
And with that Serenity left Serena laying under half a dozen blankets,
catching some extra sleep.

** "I apologize for the fact that my daughter isn't here," Serenity said
showing them to their rooms. Serenity always liked to make guests feel
welcome, so she showed them the castle herself. It gave her a sense of pride
in it.
"It's alright," King Davian said smiling. Darien just grunted. His father
elbowed him in the stomach, urging him to be more polite.
"If you don't mind me asking, Why can't your daughter come?" Darien said,
trying to be polite and make conversation.
"Ohh, Poor Serena is out with the flu," Serenity shruged. But Darien's head
jerked up.  *Serena . . . it sounds so much like Serea. Could she have . . .
No! Wishful thinking Darien.* Darien thought to himself as he was shown his
room. Serenity pointed out that Serena's room was right across the hall.
"Is it okay if I talk to you daughter? You know, meet her and hope she
feels better?" Darien asked suddenly obsessed with wanting to see Princess
Serena.
"Oh, Yes. It should be fine with her. Your father and I will be in the
royal study if you need anything, or want to come join us before the
meeting." And with that Queen Serenity and King Davian walked off down the
hall.
Darien took a catious step toward the door and opened it carefully. Almost
as if he thought some possesed creature was going to jump out and attak him
right there.
But what he saw delighted him beyond beilife. There, laying amoung sweetly
soft sheets and a number of blankets, was Serea. Or apperently called:
Princess Serena.
Her golden hair glittered like a hevenly glow around her face. Her milky
white skin blended in nearly perfectly with her white bed covers. But the
thing that entraced him the most were her sweet rosy lips. Were thoes lips
still pure? Had they been touched by some other man's? Darien was
subconciously walking toward his sleeping beauty. Soon their faces were mear
inches apart. Darien wanted to close the gap, but what if she belonged to
some one else? The thought wanted to make him throw a childish tantrum and
beat the living stuff out of that man.
Suddenly Serena sighed breathlessly. Her eyes fluttered open, revealing two
long awaited blue stars. She smiled softly. Darien gasped but he didn't
move. Serena began to mumble, unaware that this was not a dream.
"It's you. Ohhhh, how I've missed you. You have no idea. Oh I just wanted
to be in your arms again and look into your eyes," Serena began to drift off
to sleep again. Darien was stunned.
*Did she mistake me for someone else? Or was it me she was looking for?*
Darien began to gently stroke her hair, unaware that some one was watching
him: Luna.

** Darien peered into the study, to find his Father delighghtfully talking
to Queen Serenity. She saw him out of the corner of her eye and smiled.
"How was she? Pleasent?" Serenity asked Darien.
"She was uhhh, sleeping." Darien said quietly. Serenity looked at him and
raised an inquisitive eyebrow.
"Are you feeling alright, Prince Darien?" She asked the half asleep yound
man.
"Uhhhh, I'm just a little tired. from traveling. I suppose." He said
bringing him hand to his mouth to stife a yawn. Serenity shook her head.
"Why don't you go rest for today. We can get along with out you."
Darien nodded and trudged back upstairs, but didn't turn into his room, he
went into Serena's.

** "...Oh c'mon, Luna. You had to have been dreaming! I'm never going to see
him again," Serena sighed to her advisor and protecter, *No matter how hard
I try,* She finished silently.
Suddenly she heard the door creak. Luna's head snapped to the door and
Serena gasped. There was the man from the ball!!
Luna ran to him and jumped up on his head. She began to beat him with her
tiny cat paws. Serena jumped out of her bed and grabbed Luna.
"Luna!!!" She snapped, "That wasn't very nice!" She heald luna out at arms
length.
"So!!! He came in here earlier!" Luna began to pout. Serena placed her on
her bed.
"Now stay there!" She snapped. Serena turned to the man who had just walked
in.
"Princess Serena," He bowed, "We haven't been properly intoduced. My name
is Darien. Prince Darien of Earth."
"Oh dear lord." Serena gasped.
"My reaction exactly." Darien raised an eyebrow and smiled gently.
"Are you- Are you-" Serena stuttered. She couldn't find the words.
"From the ball? Only if you were." Darien finished. Serena backed away from
him, stunned and acidentally sat down on Luna. Luna yowelled in protest.
Serena got up.
"Oops, Sorry, Luna."she said. twirling a peice of hair between two fingers.
Suddenly she turned serious, "How come you never told me your name?"
"You never asked for it," Darien said taking a step forward, "How come you
never told me your real name? Or that you were from the moon?"
"I- I- I . . . thought you would have nothing to do with me, If you found
out. So I lied," Her eyes were glued to the floor and they no longer danced
and sparkled.
"Serena," Darien said almost as if what she were saying was imposible.
Serena looked up. "You know as well as I do, that what you are proposing is
virtually is imposible." He took her hands in his. Luna jumped up from the
bed, pounced on Darien's head and once again began to beat him with her
tine, soft cat paws.
"LUNA!" Serena reprimanded and snached her advisor from Prince Darien's
head, "Oh, I'm terribly sorry, Prince Darien. She normaly doesn't act this
way to others." Serena walked to the door and tossed her advisor out, "Now
go talk to mother!" Serena shut the door and turned back to Darien. "I'm
Terribly sorry for Luna's behavior."
Darien held up a hand and said, "No, No, she has a right to be angry."
Serena raised an eyebrow, "No she doesn't." Darien chuckled. "Whaaa?"
Serena pouted.
"That has to be one of the cutest looks I have ever seen," He smiled making
his midnight blue eyes shimmer like the stars. Serena turned a light shade
of crimson.
"Oh," Was all she could say.
"So, Serena? Why aren't you in bed, with a cool cloth over your head and a
cup of tea on your lap?" Darien asked her. Serena blushed even more.
"I- I- I didn't know you were the prince and I was so over whelmed by last
week, and I thought. . . Oh screw it! I didn't wanna go to that stupid
meeting in the first place," Serena crossed her arms over her chest and
pouted. A look Prince Darien had grown quite attached to.
Darien chuckled, "I didn't either. I got out by faking that I was too tired
to pay attention. But I'll probobly have to go tomarrow though."
Serena placed a finger on her lips in a thoughtful expresion, "I could have
a miraculous recovery if you want me to." She gave him a wink and Darien
chuckled.
*Oh, I could talk to her forever . . .* Darien thought to himself.
"Only if you want to," Darien winked at Serena and the two chuckled.
*I could stay like this forever,* Serena thought. Suddenly Darien took a
step forward, and the two were standing dangerously close.
"Serena, If I request something, will you grant it?" Darien looked into her
eyes.
"Wh-what is it?" Serena asked him, breathlessly.
"A kiss." Darien took Serena's hands in his.
"A- a kiss?" Serena slightly smiled, "That and a million more." Darien's
eyes brightened at that remark, and he leaned down and gently kissed her
sweet, rosy lips. Lips that were now his. Serena's arms wrapped themselves
around Darien's neck, and his arms slid around her waist.
"PRINCESS SERENA!!!" A rather loud and angery voice reprimanded from the
hallway. Princess Serena pulled away from Darien to find her mother and King
Davian standing in her door way.  Serena bit her lower lip and pulled away
from Prince Darien completely.
"What are you doing?" Serenity snapped. Serena figited with one of her
pony-tails.
"N- Nothing, Mother," Her eyes were glued to the floor.
"It doesn't look like that, now does it?" Serenity said raising an eyebrow.
"B-But, mother," Serena stuttered.
"Honestly, Serena! You lied about being sick," Serena breathed a sigh of
relife, "I actually though you were sick! Oh, good gods, Serena. You're
coming to the meeting, whether you like it or not," Serenity said looking
into her daughter's eyes.
"And, You!" Davian turned to Prince Darien, "Aren't you tired? You are not
getting away with this Just because you are twenty years old, does not give
you the right to do such things, honestly!" Darien breathed a sigh of
relife.
"The meeting is in twenty minutes, I expect you to ready by then, Serena,"
Serenity said heading towards the door. King Davian followed.
"And you will join us also, Prince Darien. Now go back to what you were
doing," And the two left Serena's room. Leaving the two dumb-founded.
"Oooookkkkeeeeeeaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy," Was all Serena could say. Darien
shrugged and slipped his arms around her waist again.
"I think we should follow their instructions to the letter, Don't you think
so?" Darien said.
"Absloutely," Serena giggled, and Darien leaned down for another kiss . . .
