| Book of Shadows... Hmmmm, sounds mysterious. No, it's not a book filled with those shadow pictures we used to do in school. A Book of Shadows (BoS) is like a Witch's diary. In it would contain lores, tools used, rituals preformed, spells, divination, crystal and/or colour corespondences... the list goes on. A BoS can contain anything that the Witch who owns feels is important in his/her Spiritual Path. Some people believe that every BoS should and must be written by hand, or else you are just not putting your own energy onto the paper and into the book. Well this is true, but it's also true that in order for a letter of the alphabet, and ultimately, a word, to appear on a computer screen, one must type that letter on the keyboard. Right? So, I also believe (as so do many others) that typing it on the computer and then printing the pages (or even save it on a disk... "Disk of Shadows"? Hmmm.) is just as effective as writing it by hand. |
