Gimpware |
The history of gimpware Gimpware was first designed by Sarah Woodward and Cheryl Carrington in an inspirational moment in the sunny land of Cumbria, when it began to rain miserably. Being as intelligent as they are, the two girls decided it would be better to look "like gimps" with their strange hoods up then to get quiffed hair from the rain. Unfortunately, at that time they werent aware that the hoods were not waterproof (which again clarifys their intelligence.) Anyway, they continued to walk around like gimps with their hoods up, as, by this time, the style had begun to grow on them. Before they knew it they were influencing trends all over Cumbria. and inventing new styles......including everything from the untouchable "oldmansocksandsandles" look, to the elegant "hoodie" look. |
The "hoodie" look combined with the "oldmanssocksandsandles" look The first item of Gimpware, shown here, is modelled by myself..... As can be seen from the picture, it includes a stylish matching ensemble of light blue and cream...the light blue hoodie having been unzipped half way, and tied securely around the neck. The hair has been pushed back into the hood, and sandles and socks complete this riveting look. |
The "hoodie" look, combined with the "legless" look Here, sarah models the hoodie look with a darker hoodie, which has, once again, been accurately tied and half unzipped in an attempt to highlight her cheekbones. (?) To complete the look, Sarah has opted for the "legless" trouser, designed to compliment her navy hoodie and to give the overall outfit a greater feel of gimpness. |

To the girls complete shock, there was a great deal of interest in Gimpware, and they soon recruited three willing models...Gemma, John and Gayle, all of whom have now had atleast one photo taken in Gimpware. And yes- you can see these illusive photos for yourself.......just check out the official Gimpware site. |
