Problem: Computer doesn't start
Solution: Check Power Cord, Surge Protector, Wall Outlet
Also, inside the case are wires running to the motherboard. Make sure a wire is connected to pins marked PWR SW or PWR
Problem: While the computer is running I press the power button but, computer goes to Hibernation. (PC's from 1998+)
Solution: In the Windows Operating System go to Control Panel, then click Power or Power Options. At the top of new window that opens is a tab that reads ADVANCED. Click that and you will now see a power options menu. There should read

In the list should be Power Down. Choose this.
