Home of the cartoon blogezine.  A humorous view from the far side on politics, people and things that touch my fancy.  Try to find some enjoyment here....life is just too short, besides, it might be your only source of world news and events.
Oh yeah, Bush bashing goes without saying.

Okay if you really want to complain about something,
or email me, then speak to the garbage can
... as if it will do you any good.

Welcome. If you've arrived for the first time you've come to my...um...well I don't know what it is.  I can tell you this, it's really just some pages living on a server that allow me to mount some of my drawings. These are primarily for my own humour but sometimes I like to share.. and it lets the family know I'm alive.
So to fill the extra space, I write. All very therepeutic and egotistical I'm sure. However, thanks for popping in...nothing is required, hopefully...just enjoy...or not.

I haven't updated this blog in a while. Trouble is, when a guy my age begins a new love affair (even if it is with my computer), well you just get lost in the heat of the passion. ...more

Okay all you Nancy Grace fans...
I now that including my wife, there are at least two more Nancy Grace fans out there. I've had a beef against Nancy from the moment I heard her open her mouth.  ...more

Okay this is adult only, I don't need letters...
Yes those are breasts. Now you probably think most of this stuff I make up. Well mostly, but this is so silly I decided to display the article verbatim... ...more

I 'll bet you think Climate Change is a new phenomenon?
So you like 15 pounds of plastic around your hamburger to keep it clean, while you throw it in the back of your SUV and drive it home at hi-speed with the airconditioning on, just to put it in the old fridge in the basement? Naw...climate change has nothing to do with you.   ...more

ah yes...everybody loves nancy grace

nancy grace collects human testesGeez, I remember when witch hunting was a man's thing.

Well good old Nancy Grace is off the air and the world is a little safer...oh yeah, except for her intended, as she is to marry too. Meanwhile, she is facing her own day in court as part of a lawsuit against her and her former show. You may recall the incident. A few months back, Nancy managed a single handed on-air battering of an Ohio woman( Melinda Duckett), to committing suicide within hours of the show.
In all fairness, the woman was under suspicion of hiding or murdering her infant son. However, that's a police matter, not one where good ol' Nancy is Judge, Jury and Hangman. I've never been a fan of Nancy's from the moment I heard her open her mouth while using her position for to gain self importance. I remember watching her vein pop on her neck as she waged her private war on Richard Ricci, a suspect in the kidnapping of Elizabeth Smart. Ricci's only connection with the case was, that he was an ex-convict and had done some work at the Smart's home in Utah. Grace used her pulpit to whip viewers into mob frenzy. Ricci had been in the process of turning his life around, with an occupation and a new marriage. The end result (thanks to Nancy's venomous attack) was that Ricci was arrested and jailed for a minor parole violation, where under intense pressure by the police, Nancy and the media, he succumbed to a fatal brain hemorrhage...an innocent man within the Smart case.
This type of show is not just insane but out and out criminal and a great example of the 21st century witchhunt. Televised pre-tial of any crime is not a reality game and reduces everyone's efforts for justice...to a game show. Here Nancy was Queen of the zealots. And before you tell me she did accomplish some useful things being brought to the forefront...it was all lost by her tawdry, "Roy Bean" crusade. She's one "Champion" we just don't need.

Their hiding the truth on global warming...conspiricy

You should know I'm a pretty level headed guy normally! Yes, my view of the world is slightly Jaundiced, I agree. However, I have this thing about knowledge. Not just some weird idea that knowledge is power, it's more intrinsic. I get angered easily when I hear and see things that are just thrown out there as truths. In today's world of "sound bites", it may be the only or last thing a person hears or sees and that individual walks away now convinced he knows a truth about something.

This is just plain wrong and this is the thing that's driving us to mass hysteria and destruction in North America, not to mention that gut feeling that the world is doomed and going to Hell in a hand-basket.  So...wherever I can, I try to take certain bits and things we hear or read, I research them in greater detail.  This is primarily so I can my own informed opinion.  In doing this, I like to pass on this new found information so other people too may make their own opinions.

SO YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE?

All this talk of changing world climate worries me. Not so much that there is an underlying truth to it all, but because the facts ARE NOT just being told.  Right now, you're convinced climate change is doom and all your fault because you like your food all clean, safe and wrapped.  No, not so. What you first need to know, is that if the world’s history were shown as a clock, we humans don't show up until something like a couple minutes before midnight. With that in mind, you can start looking around for other scientific data and you will find, world climate has rolly-coastered throughout world history and even the North and South magnetic Poles have changed position many, many times. Once hippos and tropical species resided in the Northern Hemisphere. Now, this doesn't mean we should ignore things completely.  It does point out that we've only been here since a couple minutes before midnight and there is a good possibly we've been in one of those steady climate troughs and that we are here, only because of the climate changes. It's possible and probable. Now just because "we" have depleted most of the other speicies, most of the natural resouces that have helped maintain the climate and atomosheric equilibrium, doesn't make it all our fault...but that too may be another possibility or probability. Personally, I like to think it's more your fault than mine. But that's how it works, governments prefer we blameeach other or just sit around feeling guilty. Not to digress here. As usual, my point is..do some reading...do some research...form an intelligent opinion...then help decide what can be done.

odd news...I can't invent this stuff.

that would be $16,000 a boob please!expensive boobs

HELSINKI (Reuters) - A fee of 25,500 euros ($32,000) is way too much for a woman to charge a man for fondling her bosom, a Finnish district court ruled. The court jailed a couple in their twenties for more than a year for charging a 74-year-old who suffers from dementia a total of 25,500 euros to enjoy the woman's breasts on 10 occasions.
"Based on general life experience alone, it is indisputably clear that a 25,500 euro charge is disproportionate to the compensation in question," Judge Hasse Hakki, who heard the case, told Reuters Friday.
But he said the court in Kokkola, about 300 miles north of Helsinki, would not decide "the proper financial value of the compensation."
The retiree filed charges against the couple, who were convicted of extortionate overcharging, even though he told the court he paid the price willingly at the time.

CONFESSIONS OF A MAC USER

IT'S BEEN over twenty years now...but i've fallen in love with my mac all over again.

It's been a while since I updated this blog, but not totally my fault.  I’m a Mac user. Mac’s seldom undergo major system changes…just upgrades, but system OSX was a leap ahead in light years. I put it off for almost a year beause it meant having to change work methods and updating all my software. Finally I had to give in andthe results of this change, opened a whole new world of exploration and learning and the blog got further from my mind. I don’t mean just learning the new ways of Mac OSX, but all the new toys that came with it…offered me months of exploration, doing, learning, experimenting, creating and on and on.
So for the last few months, I’ve been deeply involved in a new love affair with my Mac, and together, its time to get back doing things. The good thing is Mac's last for years through the upgrades, so me and the old girl are still together, but she definately has taken on a new sexy way of things.
