I hunt (or used to, I haven’t in a while), and it’s an incredible thing. You alone decide whether that animal will live or die in that moment, and if you choose the latter, you take that animal's life with your own hands. That is the real reason why people hate hunting. They can eat all the meat they want, as long as it comes packaged in a nice white Styrofoam container. But when they do the dirty work, when they pull that trigger, they realize what it takes to survive, and they don’t have the mindset or the guts for it. People today are a bunch of spineless maggots, oblivious as to what happens that causes the food to appear on their table.
A girl today was trying to convince me that hunting was bad. She started in with a nice story: “Just imagine that you’re a little baby deer and you’re with your Mommy and Daddy. You’re walking through the forest and suddenly a shot rings out, and your Daddy falls and dies.” Oh Jesus Christ, save me the guilt trip. First off, deer DO NOT travel in families. The buck (male) deer has his way with the doe (female) and then leaves. The doe only stays with the fawn (baby dear) for a little bit, around a year, and then it’s on its own. What does they people think when they say things like this? That if we don’t kill them, the little cute furry animals will never die? That’s the biggest bunch of bullshit I’ve ever heard, Ex-Cardinal Law couldn’t cook a bigger batch.
The current state of society is sad. There are millions of dick-heads that walk around, preaching about this and that with no idea that the same things they hate are what allowed their family to survive in the past, and what ultimately brought them on this Earth. Get a clue, and shut the fuck up.
