Roger is a web designer who prefers to work nights. Well, more like night work is necessary for his requirements. Roger is the offspring of a vampire father and mortal mother. He has a foot in both worlds, which makes it hard to settle down with that special someone. How can he watch a mortal woman grow old and die, like his mother did.

The name of an internet chat room catches his eye and Roger decides to check it out. Perhaps people visiting 'Transylvania' might be real vampires. Roger's immediate attraction to Fyre, the Gypsy Queen is about to turn his lonely world upside down. Can there be more than friendship between them? Can the lovely gypsy accept him for what he is?

Brakos@Twilight.com takes vampire tales into a new direction. This short story is an entertaining romance, combining a not quite traditional vampire and modern technology. The characters are well done, making the combination almost natural. Roger's human qualities garner the reader's sympathy and support, wanting to see him gain something more in his life. His father and uncle help the story along by introducing a bit of conflict for Roger. Fyre is charismatic in her online role, but what is she like in person?

For fans of vampire tales, Brakos@Twilight.com is not to be missed. You never know who you might meet online.
