After a six month absence, Dusty Conrad has returned to Old Orchard to retrieve the divorce papers sent to his wife two months earlier. As much as he loves Jolie, too many things have come between them; things Dusty would rather not face. The only solution left to him is to cut all ties and forever leave his hometown.

Jolie Conrad isn't exactly thrilled to see Dusty again; he was one who up and left in the spring, without an explanation. She knows why he's here now, and dreads turning over the papers he wants. Does he care so little for her? Can Jolie get to the bottom of the problem?

More than a romance, The Woman For Dusty Conrad strikes a deep chord for readers. Tori Carrington manages to get deep into the soul of Dusty Conrad, and explore the fears all firefighters face sooner or later. This story also plays a bit on role reversal, a man's fears for the dangers his wife faces in her role as firefighter.

Dusty and Jolie are written with character depths to touch every reader. Secondary characters lend their support to the plot, although a couple of them you might like to strangle. The story is well thought out and moves with a smoothness to keep you turning every page.

Can two souls in pain find the means to heal and renew their relationship? Better than chocolate, The Woman For Dusty Conrad is one romance you don't want to miss. This is Tori Carrington at their writing best.
