Many paranormal or time travel novels have a formulaic plot to them that, to this reader anyway, can weaken a tale with predictable ending and romance. THIS ISN'T ONE OF THEM! The weaving of characterization and tense, concise plot deepens but smoothly flows in the most satisfying manner. One wants to turn the pages faster while getting further into the fantastic yet incredibly believable story. The sources of benign and maleficent power are totally unpredictable yet seamlessly unfolding through the exciting pages and chapters, with a conclusion including some very favorite characters of this reader.

Jealousy, greed, poison, spells, time travel to different centuries, wisdom, animal protection, hiding mists of protection, barren and lusciously beautiful settings and vibrant personalities fill a wondrous portion of history that Meryl is bound to lead, fear, and compel to "higher" places. You will see, hear, touch and emotionally bond with each very human and supernatural character and setting herein.
